  1. I’m Over this Meta Quest ad with the dude lying in bed wanting to QB of the Dallas Cowboys.
  2. Announcers who were loving on Jets D now trashing its performance here LOL It does
  3. Ya hate to see it And frankly the announcers were lauding their defense, and Jags are making it look pretty pedestrian
  4. Jets gonna be lucky if they come out of this half without another Jags score
  5. I just didn’t see it at all last year, not that I watched the Jags a ton. Maybe what’s-his-name who coached them last year didn’t want him to? We need a “who wore it better?” Between Diggs and Fitzmagic
  6. Doesn’t sound like a good notion to bribe him to stay in football shape (by sliding and avoiding hits) by eating a ton of food and sliding out of football shape
  7. Did we know this guy had good wheels?
  8. Negative. High of 12 degrees, 20 mph winds
  9. If @T&C was right looks as though they're almost there.
  10. So there's been some stuff that's surfaced here and there about some of the offers. Like various staff and coaches wearing Josh's jock if he slides, or someone coming out to practice in less than the normal clothing That hasn't gotten them more than a couple of slides from time to time.
  11. OK FWIW, TBN (paywall) Ryan O'Halloran did a piece on him - https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/ryan-ohalloran-bills-rookie-kaiir-elams-mindset-after-deactivation-make-sure-that-didnt-happen-again/article_3d870d90-8146-11ed-a6bb-d7dfb505ba12.html The implication I take from that is that Elam was benched for performance reasons such that the Bills felt Rhodes was a better choice for the game - not for "breaking a team rule" or some kind of discipline. Of course, you can question whether my belief colors my interpretation and, of course, whether Elam is going to spill the tea if it was a rule violation discipline. But he makes a fairly convincing case for the above. But, there is something in the article that puzzles me: My understanding was that Elam played a lot of man in college and not so much zone.
  12. That's a pretty sweet gift.
  13. Oh, wow, good catch - that'd be an "ouch" if Tanner Gentry and IR'd Jamison Crowder get one, but not Kumerow - who actually has considerably more snaps playing WR than Tanner Gentry and (eep!) 1 fewer snap than Crowder
  14. I believe it's allowed. He's played in 4 games this season, but I believe he was actually signed to the 53 man roster for 3 of them.
  15. Outstanding! Where do you get one of those?
  16. Yeah, it has 3x the flights as O'Hare...that's the thing. It is scheduled to land flights about as rapidly as they can land during a normal day. When the weather doesn't allow visual approach conditions, the capacity plummets and the flight cancellations/delays mount high. But, if the Bills charter flight is booked as a Delta flight, which @T&C's link implies, it might not have a scheduled landing slot at Midway so I guess that explains it. If the Bills are trying to land at O'Hare and bus to a downtown hotel, they not getting to their hotel until Late, Late, Late because traffic is going to be snarled like a 3 yr old left to brush her own hair.
  17. I think PFF ratings are to be taken with a box of Morton's (when it rains, it pours) Consider: Bills currently have the #4 offense on points (trailing Dallas by 9 points now), #2 for yards, #3 for Y/Play Top-10 for pass Y/A, AY/A, NY/A #8 for rush yards, #3 for rush Y/A Does it pass the "logic test" that the Bills could achieve all that as an offense, even with Josh Allen being the Alien Creature we all know him to be, if our OL were actually 28th in the league? I'll go with Greg Cosell, who uses the old-fashioned eyeball: our OL is average or a bit better than average, no more. Josh Allen makes up for a lot of flaws. But he doesn't allow for the Bills to have a top-10, even top-5 offense with a bottom-of-the-league line. That, My Martian Friend, would be an "Earth Shattering Ka-Boom"
  18. You're not asking me, but in previous games when he's available, Bills have preferred to move Bates to C and bring Van Roten in at G It works better
  19. Seems a bit odd they would fly into O'Hare. Getting from O'Hare to Soldier Field gonna be a chore, hope they have a hotel next to the airport. What's not good about it? Other than all the airports in Chicago are going to be a cold mess today.
  20. If it takes off out of Buffalo at 7 pm should arrive in Chicago ~7:30 pm central time or 01:30 zulu https://aviationweather.gov/taf/board?ids=KORD Weather actually forecast to get a bit better around then, but of course there will be all the ongoing flight impacts from earlier weather delays. Anyone know which Chicago airport the Bills use? Midway would be a lot closer to Soldier Field. LOL is that Cole Beasley in front of the one with McKenzie's number on it, like "hey, giving one to yourself - where's mine?"
  21. Did we see this? Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips both questionable - YIKES. Our DL is a mess. Hopefully 1 of the 2 can go, but I think we're gonna need an elevation to the 53 man roster (maybe 2) in addition to 2 practice squad call-ups. For those scoring at home, as best as I can figure: -Mike Love has had 1 of 3 practice squad call-ups -Brandin Bryant has had 1 of 3 practice squad call-ups. He has played in 4 games, but was signed to the active roster from 9/24 to 10/8 when he played in the 1st MIA and BAL games, again signed to the active roster 10/11 - 11/1 (no games), and a third signing from 12/13-12/19 for the 2nd MIA game. -John Brown and Cole Beasley have both used 1 of 3 practice squad call-ups Not sure who we bring up for another DT if both Ed and Phillps can't go.
  22. I have it on good authority (aka this board) that Basham is a bust so can't make no never mind if it's Mike Love in there.
  23. I think that's one of those Ben Franklin "let a man once develop a reputation for being an early riser, and he may sleep until noon" things
  24. % of plays under center to date this season: 27% % of plays under center last season: 27% I'm thinking we play from shotgun the overwhelming majority of the time for other reasons. Though, Van Roten is effectively our 3rd string center so I doubt he gets a lot of practice time with Josh.
  25. Basham with Creed Humphries on the board still chaps my grits. I still have hopes for Basham developing, but I think he's gonna be an AJE/Knox type player where if the Bills do get value from him, it's gonna be a "light bulb turns on just before he has to get paid" kinda thing. Most people seem to think AJE is playing pretty well this season. Not sure who you have in mind as a "replacement level" (ie PS/STer) equivalent in play. "Rotational DE", this IS Frazier and McDermott's defense, they are all rotational.
