  1. So what is he doing in the snaps he gets, and with the targets he gets, which you can show to us as evidence he should be getting more?
  2. And yet McKenzie is right behind Diggs for catch % with 69.1%, how can this be when he doesn't catch the ball? Hodgins (when with the Bills) has a lower catch % with 66.7%, how can this be when he catches the ball "unlike McKenzie"? (Hodgins has a better catch % with the Giants, so good for him!) You know Shakir gets ~16 snaps per game on average, right? More vs Detroit, 12 yesterday. He's been targeted 17 times and has 8 receptions. I would have liked to see the Bills keep Hodgins. I think it was bad luck as far as injuries at other positions that led to him being waived.
  3. Yeah, but it was pretty much a lucky bounce that it was a safety and not recovered for a TD
  4. So the Bills have lost 3 games by a total of 8 points. Not at all surprising that a point differential change of 18 points can swing 4 games.
  5. I agree here. This board used to be difficult to navigate after a loss. Now, it's difficult to navigate after a win! Scapegoating players, asking if coaches should be fired, etc etc I think it's one thing to share concerns, another to scapegoat or trash players/coaches etc. - he sucks, who played worse A on offense or B on defense, will the OC be fired. (Not intended to finger point you in particular as doing this) We used to see all that stuff ad infinitum after a loss, now we see it after a win. It's very bizarre.
  6. I couldn't tell what question was asked there. Anyone?
  7. I don't think so, unless there was a question about White's neurological status. The only thing that sparked the Tua investigation is that there's a specific neurological protocol for identifying concussions and protecting players that have them, with an "independent" consultant, and the Tua question was "was it followed?" I don't think there was a bit of that. The hit on Josh's elbow was a clean hit - he was in the act of throwing the ball and our guys are trained to go after the QB's arm in that situation. It's not like he was down and they were wrenching on his arm or stepping on it or kicking him. Our D was just trying to play free and physical and show they can be a top unit and get pressure without Von. Now Shaq, Shaq had a bone to pick with the Jets, and wracked up a sack, a TFL, and a QB hit. I wish we could get Shaq to have a bone to pick every week. Maybe he'll be fired up against Miami, too, since they traded him off to the Texans only a year into the 3 yr contract they signed with him. When he's fired up, he's a damned good player.
  8. Actually, I think offensive line penalties and the pressure/sacks they were trying to prevent had a good bit to do with offensive problems in the first half, though I had some frustration with playcalling (the weather sucks, it's 3rd and 2 - can't we run it?) 2nd drive - 3rd and 10 - sack 3rd drive - penalty on Morse (busted play), penalty on Dawkins,1st and 20 incomplete pass, penalty on Saffold (declined, 4 yd run), 3rd and 16 incomplete pass 4th drive - 9 yd sack makes it 2nd and 19 5th drive - Penalty on Dawkins, Penalty on Dawkins (declined due to 6 yd sack) 6th drive - TD (no holding penalties, no sacks) End of half Basically, 5 penalties on the OL (2 declined) and 3 sacks. I don't wanna finger point because we all know Dawkins was playing on one leg and the Jets DL is really fierce, but seems like these accounted for a lot more than 5% of our early offensive issues. 1st 3 drives in the 2nd half, we scored. Edit to add: I can see where a rebuttal would be "those problems are all because the Jets have a great defense", but, I kind of view them as separate issues - we've played other teams with good defenses and while Josh has had pressure, he's been able to function and we haven't had all those penalties. NE, Ravens and Titans all have good Ds (8, 9, 10 on points); Patriots have more sacks and a higher pressure % than Jets.
  9. That was a bridge-burning question, by which I mean a question that burns through any bridge of trust and rappore between reporter and player. I don't see Wawrow asking bridge-burning questions. He asks tough questions sometimes, but the last bit wasn't even a question, it was a statement of the reporter's personal opinion. A fair question might be, "You mentioned that the offense wasn't in sync early and has stuff to clean up. That seems to have been a theme for the last several games. Why, and what can you do to fix it?"
  10. Who's the asshat who asked the question about 4:14 in? "This offense has struggled to find its rhythm for 6 games now. Is that a concern for you?" (Josh says no, we're 10-3, just playing smart, complimentary football, not putting ourselves and our defense in bad situations etc) "This doesn't look like an offense that's good enough to win the Superbowl right now" Josh: "Okay" I don't want to assume it was Sullivan. Who was it?
  11. I noticed that he seemed to be a little tentative.
  12. I can't stop watching this one. "Freight train coming your way" https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2022/12/you-can-see-mike-whites-soul-leaving-his-body-fans-media-react-to-bills-pummeling-jets-qb.html "tougher than a $2 steak"
  13. There seem to me to be a number of people who are miserable about winning. They want style points. Josh and the offense played a clean game in nasty weather where cold fingers and wet footballs could easily result in fumbles or tips and picks. That's really important because turnovers are pretty correlated to losing. I'm a little curious about your statement "throwing under 200 yds isn't going to cut it", because Josh threw for ~200 yds for the last 4 games - and we've won. Last game he threw for >300 yds, the Vikings, we lost. Passing yards are not correlated to winning. The Bills offense put up an offensive clinic in Miami - 497 yds of offense, 382 yds passing, almost a 2:1 advantage in 1st downs and TOP - and we lost. Getting the ball in the end zone or through the goal posts matters. Would I like to see us field more offense, sure, and we will.
  14. These are the same people who wear fleece and pile on the beach when it's like 70 degrees in December
  15. I thought either the O false started or the D jumped on that previous play Wooooooo Herbert with the first down and a neat slide at the end. That’s what I want to see from Josh!
  16. Frankly I think turnstyles would provide more protection At least the fixed posts would get in the way
  17. C’mon Chargers don’t charger Just get the *****in’ first down
  18. Nice throw by Herbert to avoid a big loss there
