I could be wrong, but I think Dawkins was actually getting sloppy the end of last season. I don't actually buy the "I gained 40 lbs between Jan 22 and Mar 1" notion. And he may say he lost the weight in a month or so (by the time OTAs rolled around) but I'm the one who looked at pics of Dion coming into voluntary workouts and went "OMG". He still looked hugely sloppy in the photos the Bills put out. You're absolutely right, party but when you're being paid for your physical skills, be a professional and preserve them.

I get your point, but gaining 12% of your body weight in something like 6 weeks(if that's true) is still very concerning. [I'm not sure it's true, I think Dion was getting sloppy and gaining weight through the season]

Well, he observed one thing negative. Can you imagine Collinsworth if McDermott made some of the choices and Josh made some of the throws Mahomes made last night? Going for it on 4th and 20, 4th and 25? Some of the throws that were missed? This. This is the way. That got me too. "The Chiefs are consistently breaking the rules, the refs aren't calling it, that's on the Lions coaches"

But it was so beautiful and karmic how he was called for it at the worst time with the game on the line. That's fine, but the problem is that it's not being called (or no-called) consistently. Even in that game, the refs finally called it - right at a critical moment, after not calling it all game. In one game, they'll call it multiple times, in another they'll let it slide. Because of the inconsistancy, I don't buy Simms and your explanation about "changing the rules without changing them".
