  1. Josh is happy to throw to the middle of the field, if it’s way downfield and defenders outnumber our guys 2:1
  2. I don’t know about that, but if the Bills lose, Josh certainly gets a heaping helping o’ blame
  3. Aggressive is good. Just don’t be an idiot and throw into double coverage in the middle of the field. You could tell Aikman was being civil but it was a bonehead choice.
  4. Josh Allen is an Idiot There. I said it.
  5. Garafolo claims Hamlin will be a healthy scratch
  6. Daboll hired Mike Kafka away from being QB coach to Pat Mahomes. I don't think Kafka hired on to be Daboll's dingleberry; he hired on to have a chance to take a step in his career as an OC and hopeful HC.
  7. Apparently Kadarius Toney was so unwise as to troll Giants fans about their loss: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/kadarius-toney-basks-in-giants-humiliating-loss/ar-AA1gymov Giants fans, on the other hand, remember that Toney had one of the worst performances (league wide) for a WR in the Chiefs loss - he dropped 3 passes that all hit him in his hands, one of which was deflected, intercepted, and returned for a TD. Apparently Giants fans kept their receipts and returned fire: Well, they were only following his instructions "don't get quiet now", right? Meanwhile Daniel Jones and the Giants are saying what you'd expect them to say about the loss: https://giantswire.usatoday.com/2023/09/11/daniel-jones-says-new-york-giants-must-own-humiliating-loss/
  8. He's playing for San Francisco now. I think he dressed but didn't play. Well, that's fair, but a lot of people (including in media) claim an identity for a team that under performs after 1 season. Heck, after one game - lots in this thread saying the Giants are stupid to have paid Jones and will be calling for Daboll's head, implying their identity (after playoffs and an overachieving winning record last season) is checked-out losers.... ....we'll see. As you say, it will be interesting to see how they react
  9. Last year the Giants played scrappy. They would get down early (like to the Titans opening day) and they wouldn't quit - they would fight and claw their way back into it, (won Titans game by 1 point). They were down to the Packers 20-10 at the half and won. They over-achieved. They lost to the Cowboys 2x but both were close, 1 score games. So the question is, was this an aberration where for whatever reason they weren't as prepared as they thought, played like they wanted to be anywhere else, and didn't fight? Or is this a sort of "regression to the mean" where it's pretty common that a new coach takes over and the team initially plays harder and is more focused and wins more games, but then the following year the magic wears off.
  10. And there were playoff teams from last year that didn't get blown out...we'll just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings
  11. Question I’ve been asking
  12. That would be good Stefon Diggs, evidently.
  13. I think Jones would get better protection from a set of trash cans in front of him
  14. Does that mean I can’t make jokes about 9/11 meaning all the Jets get grounded? It’s a valid point that the first game doesn’t necessarily reflect how the team will play. In 2021 the Bills got their butts whupped in Pittsburgh then won the next 4. (I would of course prefer for us to do the butt whipping tomorrow
  15. CD Lamb looking *chef’s kiss*
  16. I thought the same about the Jones contract, but as far as tonight - I think the folks who point to this being a kind of preseason game may have something. A number of good QB around the league were “off” this week - Mahomes vs. the Lions, Goff though he won that game, I didn’t see the Bengals Browns game but looking at the box score Burrows was bad….the only QB who really “went off” so far this week afaik was Tua.
  17. Jones ran a ton last year. Very close to Allen in # of attempts and about 50 fewer yards.
  18. Oh, it has something to do with it. Not much, but something. Mostly just paraphrasing the song
  19. FIFY - there’s the blocked FG, the missed FG, couple long returns given up, porous defense….. If the Giants didn’t have bad luck, they’d have no luck at all
  20. If the Giants didn’t have bad luck, they’d have no luck at all
  21. Are the Giants any better at screens than the Bills used to be?
  22. I disagree. The Bills wear red, white, and blue - very Patriotic. And everyone knows that all Jets got grounded by the evening of 9/11
  23. Daniel Jones performing in “Run Rabbit Run” as the bunny Micah Parsons looks like a problem Cowboys first 2 TD off blocked FG and pass deflected off Barkley That started the landslide, it is now too late for the Giants pebbles to vote
  24. Seems to be some truth to those notions..
  25. Your oft-injured QB
