Detroit has no answers for CeeDee Lamb

Correction Boston papers are most worried about draft position. Belicheck if he’s out in NE would like nothing better than to fling a turd in the Bills NYE punch bowl on the way out the door. The players are auditioning for their next contract and trying to put best foot forward, plus no competitive athlete wants to lose.
-
Correct. And it wasn't just those 2-3 starters. On DL we had Settle, Jordan Phillips, Poona Ford, and Kendal Vickers. We released Vickers shortly after that game. At LB we had Bernard and Dorian Williams, followed by Dodson. The young LB got totally played by Belicheck. At DB we had Jackson and Benford I feel a lot better about a DL of Big Ed and DaQuan, even if we do see a lot of Settle and Ford. I also feel better about Rasul Douglas and Benford. At LB, both Dodson and Williams have developed and improved since that game and Bernard has no game-day status so we'll hope we're good to go on D My biggest concern is that Belicheck is going to treat this as his Superbowl and pull out ALL the stops with trickery and deception. Yes, I missed Bourne tearing his ACL. The OP to which I responded was asking with TikTok Boy out, who the Cheats** had at receiver. My point was even if they had him, he hasn't been very productive to them. The point is, on a screen play, timing is key; individual player execution can't make it work, they need to practice together.
-
Eric Wood talked about this...how when he was our C under Chan Gailey where the screen game worked well, he said the team spent a lot of time practicing them to get the timing down It's not necessarily on Josh at all, though it's been true since before he was drafted that the short throws to the flat have been the most troublesome for him.
-
He’s basically just a year out from a torn ACL. What’s our track record with performance from guys who are a year out from a torn ACL? LOL. No you don’t.
-
Supposedly he had a lingering back injury all last season, then he tore his ACL and MCL and went on IR before the Bills game that was cancelled It didn’t seem like Hakeem Adeniji was a dro;p off at all
-
What I was thinking No just played like it in 2022. He’s 30
-
Yeah, somehow I missed Bourne on their IR. So Douglas, Geskicki (if one accepts him as a wide receiver), and Parker
-
I don't see how they can call up Isabella and have him active, though I guess it's possible. He's never taken a PR or KR in a game though, so is Dec in OP really the time and place to start? I'm guessing Ty Johnson would handle the PR duties - didn't he do them in preseason? He has experience going back there as a KR for DET and the NYJ. I would guess he's being benched so that the Bills can roll with an extra DLman (and because he muffed a punt last week) Dingdingding that's how it was reported for Diggs - "vet rest".

Depends on how you consider WR perhaps? Tiktok Boy is actually down on the list for receiving yards. Rookie Demario Douglas, Kendrick Bourne, and Devante Parker all healthy AFAIK. It's a little strange that Jones has a designation of "questionable" when McDermott already said they expect him to play? I expect Hamlin to be inactive with a "questionable" designation and Hyde apparently good to go.

Was Fournette there holding the toilet paper for him?

This. People are happy that DaQuan Jones is back. I'm happy that DaQuan Jones is back. But we have to understand that DaQuan playing with a surgically repaired pec, 12 weeks post-injury is unlikely to be the same fire-breathing monster he was into Week 5. He may be better than Poona Ford or Tim Settle, but temper expectations. And 12 weeks post-injury is actually not an outlier time for RTP from a pec tear these days. In 2019, JJ Watt came back in 9 weeks, but playing on the edge he's not necessarily in direct contact with another 300+ lb behemoth on every snap. Ditto TJ Watt in 8 weeks. In 2020, Jon Feliciano came back 13 weeks from pec surgery and played effectively at C and G when he did. He talked later about how limited he was in strength training at that point, but he managed. For Milano, though, if it's true he suffered a tibeal plateau fracture injury 1) it's a challenging injury to return to form from. Needs the right surgery and the right rehab 2) it doesn't just involve healing a broken bone then rehabbing, it involves very limited weight bearing for a prolonged time, because any sideways force on the tibial plateau could impair proper healing. And then, bones heal in 8-10 weeks typically, but the repair process to allow full strength takes much longer. If we want the best chance to get Milano back at something resembling his all-pro form, give him all the time that he needs to heal and to rehab.

Ro Ro. Diggs and Fournette not out there.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Beck Water replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gronk should never have been allowed to play with a brace that amounted to an armored club on his arm, and if they did, it should have been with the understanding that the first time he used it as an armored club would be the last time he was allowed on the field with it. -

They would have been dead to me. Dead, I tell you. Dead. LIke it was a dirty hit, you'd be livid if it had been done to Brady, just admit it. I have a close friend who's a Patriots fan, I watched games with him when we lived in the same city, and he straight up acknowledged as much. -

Is anyone else sick and tired of seeing Von's football-underperforming face in front of the media? Show up and show out, or Shut up, Von. I would love to hear from Floyd or Bernard or even Epenesa or Ty Johnson- someone who is dinged and has been critical to the team when they've played. I'm not a lawyer, but from what I understand, it's also never a good idea for a person with potential legal charges against him to speak out in public. -
Do we know that LaFleur called the plays when he was in Green Bay? Because it's pretty hard to argue coherently that Hackett's offense didn't work in GB 2019-2021 I don't remember who made the point that the Jets OL is so bad that whoever tries to reclaim Zach Wilson really needs to give him a year behind a solid OL to see if he's got something or not.
