It's not "slightly disappointed and concerned about the offense" or "critical of the Bills O" that are causing exception, and I think you know this. It's stuff like vomit emojis and unrelentingly negative posts about how the QB was poor, the WR can't separate, the OC's play calling and scheme are bad, and the team doesn't have the makeup or talent to make a deep playoff run. If you play that stuff backwards, your dog comes back to life and your stolen truck pulls into your driveway. That was funny. Who was it who jumped on Shakir's back? I gotta say Diggs didn't look too happy, though if he's gutting through something, he may have been jonesing for the treatment room.

It's not just that. On SNF someone put up a graphic of the starting QB for every team, then the current QB in a yellow color. There were something like 5 teams in the AFC who were playing their season-starting QB (Baltimore, Miami, KC, Jags, and Bills). The Browns just clinched the #5 seed on their what, 4th QB? Who is 4-1 with them? The Vikes are on what, their #4 QB and were playing for playoffs last night. Just because a team is playing a backup QB doesn't mean they're DOA.

This is perceptive. We won convincingly over the Cowboys, but we did it in an out-of-character way. So I guess our wins against the Cowboys were not convincing. But I can't shake the feeling that some people will never be happy. Josh had 67.5% completions, 0 sacks, 2 passing TD, 359 net passing yards against the Jaguars. He had 57% completions, 1 sack for 7 yards, 2 passing TD, 332 net passing yards against the Eagles. I guess that would be doing pretty well in "the most important area of current football" but did it make us feel so good in those games? Hell to the No, we lost them. We all felt like *****.

I did NOT need to see Kirk Cousins shirltess Does anyone else really really want to see GB make the playoffs, just because Aaron Rodgers isn’t there and his new team flubbed? Well that play for the Vikings worked just like they drew it up

I know he’s knowledgeable and researches the teams he covers, but he’s going nuttier and nuttier On that off-topic does it chap anyone else’s grits that SNF is two 7-8 teams who now ‘control their own destiny’ thanks to Pitts beating Seattle (a 9-7 team)? And that another 9-7 team, the Rams, are firmly in the playoff mix while the Bills at 10-6 may not make it? I mean, we have no one to blame but ourselves, but

Von INACTIVE vs Patriots, Coach's Decision
Beck Water replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
OK but….arguably, Miller has been taking snaps from Epenesa etc who was arguably playing better than he all along since Week 5 I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer here, but it’s not uncommon for a player who has some trouble looming to be inactive one week and then show up on the Exempt list or a suspension. It could be a message “show up, or sit out”. Or it could be a sign of something coming down -
Right. That “awful Pats team” has had I think 3 or 4 losses by more than 1 score….so of their 12 losses, 8 were by 7 points or less, and given a missed penalty or a bad bounce could easily have gone another way. That includes one of the two times they played the vaunted Dolphins, who won by…..7 points. Is our offense looking like a juggernaut right now? Hell to the Noes. I share the concerns several have expressed about Josh and Diggs. But people were “sticking a fork” in the Bills back in mid-Nov when we fell to 5-5 with a loss to Denver. So I’m personally just going to enjoy the ride that’s put us in position to play for the Division title next week. Win or Go Home, Boys - it’s Playoffs! I think that’s fair, actually.

How can I put this nicely? You claim to be a Bills fan. OUR TEAM WON TODAY! It’s well known that the NFL is a “parity” league, and on any given Sunday, any team can lose…we lost to the Pats earlier this season. In addition, this was a Division game against one of the greatest coaches in the game, bar none. And yet your reaction to our win is: ”The Bills, at home, played an awful NFL team who started their 3rd string QB, was missing their #1 RB, #1 WR, #2 WR, missed 2 FGs and had a -3 turnover margin. The Bills won by 6…SIX points! 🤮” That’s right, a Vomit emoji. Let’s just say I’m not interested in the opinion of “what looks good on me” from a so-called Bills fan whose reaction to a critical team win is a Vomit emoji, and leave it at that.

I can see where people may feel that Miami is the better team. They have more skill player talent I feel - two very talented fast WR in Hill and Waddle, a lightening bug at RB in Achane. They have significantly fewer offensive turnovers. They had the #2 scoring offense in the league going into this week. The Bills were #5 on offense going into the week and again (going into the week) had the edge on defense, #4 to Miami #12. What that means IMO is that they are both good teams who know how to win, and it’s going to come down to preparedness (including coaching) and “want to” - who wants it more? - on the day. That said, what kind of fan doesn’t fancy their own team as the better one? I certainly can’t call you too much for that.
-
OK, I give you credit for self-awareness
-
Oh, hell, why should the team bother when their QB was poor, the WR can’t separate, the OC sucks, you’re surprised they can run (after the Cowboys game?) and they just don’t have the makeup or talent to make a deep playoff run? According to you, that is. ⛈️

I can tell you’ll really rock the NYE party

To be fair to Beane, once a team is paying full salary at 4 key positions (QB, WR, Edge, and CB) he really can’t afford to be going for a second “proven player” at WR. He’s either drafting or going for guys he thinks can make a jump. And I thought most folks thought Beane had finally done significant moves on OL Now should Beane have done some cap manipulations to bring in someone better in FA or put a little more draft capital into it sure.

What's Wrong With The Passing O?
Beck Water replied to Donuts and Doritos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Uh-oh, what’s Diggs posting now? -
Negative on London. It was the Giants game. After that, Josh appeared on the injury report “right shoulder” every week until this past week.

Where is anyone saying Baley Zappe is better? I’m not saying you didn’t see it here - I’m continuously surprised by what people say here - but I mean, the guy threw 3 interceptions, that’s not good.
-
I didn’t say he was a #3 WR. I said he “can play it”. Different statements
-
I’d agree with you but I dont want to be responsible for poisoning your dog when your head swells and explodes and the pooch laps up the pieces
-
This is true. Sherfield is what he is - a good blocker and ST guy who can play #3 WR. That works only if you have a good #1 and a #2 I just watched the guys Lamar Jackson was throwing to and I don’t see either separation or focus/ability to complete the catch from our guys
