  1. Yeah, I can’t remember now who interviewed him but he was interviewed somewhere - Panthers maybe? It surprised me at the time.
  2. I admit I don’t follow the chargers much at all, what makes their ownership a nightmare?
  3. I don't think folks here appreciate yet just how masterful the defensive adjustments made by the Bills were, or how effective they were in the 2nd half of yesterday's game. And this was missing our best DB and the backup linebacker who was "making it work" in Dodson.

  5. Sounds like you have problems with a lot of stuff, actually. And of course can't hurt to revisit this classic. I sort of have a problem with you expressing an opinion here about, well....just about anything. But you would know about "next level trolling".
  6. Call me Debbie - I'm a little worried our Bills are having a little bit TOO much party on the basis of making the playoffs. I hope they have their 24 hrs of fun and then get back to the grind, because I guarantee Tomlin will have that Steelers team ready.
  7. Yeah, that's the part about the whole thing that was most puzzling to me. I think there was the nucleus of a very solid long-form article delving into McDermott's coaching in general, and specifically some of his in-game decisions and whether they have been "up to par". A good editor could have helped pruned it into form and kept it away from "character assassination" territory. I believe that McDermott has a genuine commitment to continuous improvement, which means in part, taking a minute to let things settle and then looking at criticism carefully to see if there's anything there you should use to improve.
  8. With the benefit of a bit of time, John Wawrow's take is looking solid:
  9. Imma play resurrectionist because I think this is worth re-visiting. Bills and Steelers both fired their OCs mid-season. Both in the playoffs. Saints said firing people mid season doesn't help, won't fix anything. Saints watching playoffs from couch. 🤷‍♂️
  10. If my math is right, the Dolphins got 7 rush yards in the 2nd half. Seven (7). They got 101 rush yards in the first half. They finished with 108 rush yards. Think about that for a minute. A run game that is clicking so well, it gains 5.9 YPA, a TD, 5 1st downs in the first 30 minutes. You go into the locker room, eat some orange slices and PB sammys and come out ready to rumble. 7 yards. They had a total of 3 first downs in the 2nd half. Three (3), two of which were on the final drive. That's really a defensive masterwork, especially when you factor in losing your best DB before the end of the half and a starting LB (who is already your 2nd string because your all-pro has been out since Game 5)
  11. Dodson per Banged Up Bills shoulder AC joint sprain Dion Dawkins Gore alert
  12. I just want to add this. Surfing Banged Up Bills twitter feed. He has re-tweeted 4 or 5 updates from Mike McDaniel on various Dolphins injury status. McDermott: 🦗🦗🦗 Now I grant that McDermott is in a bit different place because it was a home game and his players could come in and start getting worked up immediately this am where the Bills got home late and the players probably slept a bit and came in later. But the difference is still striking. Jordan Phillips has Entered the Chat: Just a note that per Sal Capaccio at the time Phillips went on IR, Phillips needs to stay on IR for 4 games ie not eligible to return until Division round in playoff. Of course there's always the chance that the NFL did an "invoke obscure rules" on IR and we all blinked and missed it.
  13. His agent updated it's a PCL sprain.
  14. As expected no real injury updates. He was asked about Rasul Douglas, responded we got in so late, guys are still going through it (evaluation I assume), I'll have more for you on Wednesday. No, Williams has been active on the game day roster every game this season. Williams plays ST - typically 60-70% of the ST snaps, except in the Jaxs, Giants, and 1st NE game where he was playing for Milano
  15. That makes a lot of sense actually. Spector finished with 4 tackles which was 4th on the team behind Bernard, Johnson, and Poyer. Considering he played 37% of the snaps, I'd say he did OK. Correct, especially considering (comparatively) small Jersey tugs and stuff they were calling as DPI later on in the game. "Course hazards", I tell ya, "Course hazards"
  16. He caught that thing like it was thrown right to him. Hyde and Poyer apparently talk to the football pre-game like it's a woman they're trying to take home with them. They wheedle, they sweet talk "come to me on the field", they try persuasion. Maybe they finally got Rapp to "get with the program" LOL
  17. LOL. Agree on the agent as source. "Bills standout WR" and "one of the top WR FA available this off season" How severe it is and whether or not it keeps him out of Sunday's game, of course, depends upon the grade, and whether or not other ligaments were injured.
  18. There are some media pundits we all seem to agree are out to be controversial and have consistently over the top takes. So why give them the clicks and views? Serious Q.
  19. So we got Panthers - Reich Chargers - Staley Vegas - Josh McDaniel Commanders - Rivera Atlanta - Arther Smith https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-nfl-head-coach-tracker-five-jobs-open-after-ron-rivera-arthur-smith-firings/ Article speculates that Eberflus with Bears and Belicheck with Pats could be upcoming.
  20. This is true. Allen's ability to extend plays is both a blessing and a curse. So against the Pats, Belicheck was dialing up a lot of assymetric pressures where it looked like he was sending the house then one side would drop into coverage and the other would overload and penetrate. He would also bluff pressure from the outside, then drop off - but the OTs would have to account for the supposed pressure and leave the center of the line on an island. Torrence was getting beat by these tactics.
  21. Yes. For those who are seriously interested, a look at the game stats is interesting. First half - pretty even game. 101 yds rushing, 117 net yards passing for the Fins. 13 first downs. Compare and contrast, in the second half 7 yards rushing . SEVEN. 50 yards passing. 3 first downs. The Bills backed off and clamped down on the run, while maintaining pressure up the middle to prevent Tua from being able to step up and sometimes forcing him to roll out. Tua even scrambled once!
  22. Came with receipts. 🥰 This one is particularly striking What the ***** kind of fan, even a critical fan, "prays" for an outcome unfavorable to his team and for the QB and coach to be "exposed" This guy is, indeed, a total Maroon.
  23. Both true. Toss in a bit of Josh not taking his hot read at times when he should have (example: on the 4th and 2 deep INT targeting Davis, he had Kincaid open right away for a 1st down and probably more. But yeah, to my eye they blitzed us a ton. Sorry about your team, the Miami Dolphins. Oh Wait - NO I"M NOT! 🦬🦬
  24. I've tried to fight that fight here. You're right, but good luck, you'll need it.
