  1. And that isn’t a personal foul on Flacco because?
  2. Njoku is good
  3. But they have Jerry Hughes to tell them to put their shorts on and take their shoes off and embrace the experience.
  4. There is a reason why deep passes are low percentage, even in “Dome Sweet Dome”
  5. Well, the fact that wasn’t a tuddy has nothing to do with Browns D
  6. Agreed. Welp, now would be a good time for the Browns defense to show up and at least slow the Texans down some, or they’re gonna be in a hole.
  7. Where has this thing about the Brown’s D come from? I mean they’re talking about #1 Defense and I’m like “wait, wat?”
  8. I was just kind of wondering about that.
  9. Oh my ears and whiskers! Flacco going for the 1st down himself!
  10. Are we supposed to be pulling for the Browns? Personally I think well of Stroud, have a big soft spot for Motor who was such a good soldier here. Also rooting a bit for Flacco, who seems like a good guy and I thought the Ravens did him dirty for a guy who won them a Lombardi But other than that, kinda wish there was a way both these teams could lose.
  11. He did, but I think the defender realized what he was about to do and let go, too
  12. Oh my, Motor! W000t! That was a hole I could have made it through though. And gotta love the defender going for the horse collar then letting go.
  13. Joe Flacco throwing in a dome is like, No Fair.
  14. A valiant effort, but I think the only ways to soothe this fan base is with tasty adult substances followed by a good session of *bleep*
  15. Shavers: PS, can be elevated any time Shorter: IR, had 3 week window to activate open and close, done for year
  16. They could swing by the Cabelas or Bass Pro or whatever it's calling itself now, and say "I'm going to the game, make this work for me" Course, $400 of outdoor gear later and they might as well just have gone for the more expensive seats.
  17. Marcel L-J uses small words and tries to explain clearly: Then L-J ratchets up the degree of difficulty: Many properly equipped athletes play their sport in conditions like this regularly (skiers and cross-country skiers, biathletes, snowboarders, ice climbers, mountaineers etc). And many of these guys do not have heated benches with sideline heaters, heated boxes to place their fleece-lined helmets, or heavy parkas to retreat to. I like this guy though: Pragmatic...but actually, Sunday at 1 pm is forecast to be -3 degrees, so no warmer than Saturday night. Slightly lighter wind so forecast windchill of "only" -18 degrees instead of -22 degrees. Not sure they'll like it any better.
  18. Correct I see no lies Put the handwarmers in your boots and your mittens and plug the batteries into your vest, Yungie Found the twitter handle of one of our posters here!
  19. Hokay. The Governor and County Executive and Mayor declared a State of Emergency and ordered everyone off the roads starting at 9 pm tonight with a driving ban, but this is all about the NFL looking out for the Bills, like the NFL and the Bills have a choice to disregard the Gov't SOE and driving ban. Got it. Next? That's because people in KC, including team busses loaded with players, can still drive to the game in the cold. Talk to me about "Princesses" next time you're enjoying the sideline shade in September while the opponent bakes in the sun and 20-25 degree hotter temps. Now put on your woolies and buckle up. Oh yeah and whoever wins get 2 more days rest and the Bills get a short week. Mount that little advantage in your Princess Tiara and stick it on your head. Some Fins Fans get it: "There is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing". Put your neoprene ski suit on under your jersey and go play.
  20. OK, sorry to interrupt the beating of breasts and tearing of fellow fans hair with some actual game info. -injury reports will remain unchanged -practice squad elevation deadline is now tomorrow (Sunday) not today (Saturday)
  21. Unless they did it earlier and then released the guys, I dunno. They wouldn't have a practice, but normally would have a street clothes walkthrough on Sat.
  22. Thanks, hopefully that segment will show up on Youtube at some point. The Good News is that the Bills have had so many evening and Monday games that hopefully they've become a bit more accustomed to change. They only had 5 Sunday 1 pm games this season! and 4 Sunday 4:30 games. So 8 of their games were played "out of schedule". Just crossing fingers they adjust. I know we got guys here who know people who know people, just wondering if any insight.
  23. So the players don't normally go straight from practice to the hotel. They practice about 11 am and usually wrap up whatever by 1:30-ish is my understanding, then for a home game they're free until 7 pm. Really good question on "where do the Bills typically stay for home games?" I don't know - hopefully someone does. There was an announcement of Ellicott Hotels as "the official hotel partner of the Buffalo Bills". Ellicot Hotels has a downtown hotel normally about 20 minutes to the stadium, but that seems like a Bad Idea to try to get to or from in a snowstorm. They own a bunch of hotels, but the ones closest to the Stadium are like your Country Inn/Hampton Inn/Staybridge moderate-price niche. Staybridge maybe, if the "Hotel partner" means anything? It's 6 miles from the Stadium and has multiple possible routes. Like they did in London with the Jags game and on the Tuesday game with the Titans, Got It.
  24. The cancellation was announced just as the players would have been at the facility, getting treatments and getting ready for a walk-thru practice. I would guess that the Bills themselves must have known of the plan hours before the presser, so what would they do? Bring the players in and hold walk-thrus anyway, knowing there will be a delay but that they may not be able to bring them in Sunday due to the driving ban? Do they try to get the players into a hotel Sat night so they're all assembled and no worries about having to do "snow removal and QB retrieval service"? Will they try to get them together as per usual schedule on Sunday night, even though there's a driving ban? Or will they let the players be at home until Monday even though they may then be struggling with "snow removal and QB retrieval"?
