Don't forget the constant ball-washing he was giving Steve Spagnuolo about being a defensive genius.
He talked and talked about "Spags" a lot, but didn't mention that his defense is in last place.
But of course, he kept on yammering about KC's defense instead of saying a word about Daboll and his offense.
If was shockingly one-sided.
The way he went on and on and on about how Spagger McSpagface loves to blitz on 3rd and long… change the sodding record. It was like being trapped in conversation with an old lady who just repeats the same sentence over and over with the words in a slightly different order each time.- 1

Agreed. The optics on that play were far worst then any actual contact Tre made. But it's just one of those bad luck plays for Tre and the Bills. The flag pretty much has to be thrown their or you never hear the end of the "Chiefs got jobbed" crowd.
yeah kelce sold it well - but the refs really should have been able to identify that the ball was uncatchable. -

I don’t get as heater at Collinsworth as others. But when he said that Morse hold was “one of the easy ones to call” I almost threw my chair through my TV.
wasn’t it the PI when Kelce flopped over with the ball sailing into the stratosphere above him when he said that?

and I think the league put a stop to letting the Chiefs get away with holding.
yeah - just a shame the refs waited until the next game to start decorating the field with yellow flags. -

This is the absolute WORST officiating group I have ever seen in this Dallas/LAC game. I don't think the Bills even get jobbed as bad as LAC has gotten jobbed today.
The calls are so bizarre I have no idea what is happening. -

How many days a week do gay people work?
I have learned in this thread that gay men can’t hold down jobs as they spend all their time hanging around in communal showers in gyms lusting after straight men.- 4

Gay men have been using the same gym changing rooms and showers as straight men since…well forever, and it doesn’t seem to have resulted in a problem. I’m not sure why an NFL locker room environment would be any different…

Whatever...shudder away. My point is, if you have one member openly seeking the opposite sex, within the confines of showering together, it MIGHT happen. an attraction at the very least. Is that mathematically improbable??
Maybe, like the other 52 players, he just wants a wash?- 2

Former all state TE in Iowa, gotta use him as tackle eligible/inline te at the goal line. Who could guard him?☺

Can’t wait to see the impact you have on Ed Oliver’s game. -

Until air drag overcomes A...which likely happened and means V was not that impressive.
A human terminal velocity is like 120 mph...I bet a foot ball is way less
It quite clearly had less heat on it than a pass from Josh Allen.

$2.5m is an amazing deal. Kind of surprised he didn’t sign somewhere else with more of a chance of starting if he was prepared to sign for that little.

I think people gonna be shocked how little we paid to get him. My guess is $1.5m base plus incentives.
That would be great. All I can think about though is Case Keenum being paid $6m a year by the Browns...- 1

Whether I like this or not depends on how much we are paying.

If we pay Tak McKinley $10m a year I will lose my mind.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think said tough contact sport involves 11 other people racing down the field towards you as fast as they can with the express intention of de-cleating you.
Correct. But only as there are 15 in rugby rather than 11. A significant part of the game is kicking the ball downfield and chasing, not too dissimilar to a punt in NFL, and attempting to nail the receiving player 0.0000001 seconds after they catch the ball - no fair catch rule unless you’re in your own 22 (roughly the same as the “red zone”) but you can’t hit the player whilst they are in the air if they jump to execute the catch. That’s not the only situation in which you can get tackled by another player coming at you at full speed but it is the most likely.
At professional level rugby is a pretty brutal game - and they have similar concussion issues to NFL.
That said in rugby you are required to wrap both arms around the opposing player in the act of tackling (not doing so concedes a penalty at the minimum and these days either a yellow card (sent off for 10 mins - leaving your team down to 14, no replacements like a disqualification in nfl) or even a red (sent off permanently) - especially if you make contact above the chest - which does mean you can’t (legally) go full lunatic spear tackle / shoulder charge so the hits in NFL can be more extreme.
