  1. I agree with both of those things, but Chenal is way more than athletic enough to be great in coverage and would’ve had a year to be coached up. IMO he would’ve been the perfect AJ Klein replacement as a rookie while being groomed to take Edmunds job in 2023.
  2. Taking Bernard over Chenal allowing the Chiefs to get him hurts me on a spiritual level
  3. Saying you want a team draft a certain position in a certain round will never make any sense
  4. This has zero effect on what the Bills end up doing with Edmunds. Bernard is closer to being a safety than he is to being a MLB.
  5. Hoping for Muma, Chenal, Calvin Austin, or Dylan Parham
  6. They literally just spent a 1st, a 3rd, and a 4th on a CB and another 1st on a DE
  7. Give me one of Breece Hall, Kenneth Walker, Skyy Moore, George Pickens, Chad Muma, or Leo Chenal and I’ll be happy
  8. I’m not gonna pretend like he’s a slot only guy just cause the chiefs decayed him. Great pick for them unfortunately.
  9. Seeing what these jete fans said after we drafted him will bring a smile to your face
  10. Sorry but I watched the vast majority of our defensive plays once, from the broadcast angle, and without focusing on edmunds so I know these numbers are fake and he actually stinks
  11. Ain’t no way you just called someone with an 86th percentile 40 yard dash slow. JFC.
  12. This thread is 10 pages long and there’s been like 5 actual rumors posted lol
  13. Monster plays like that are such a rare occurrence for any RB though. JT was the only back with more than 2 carries of 40+ yards with 5, which still made up a measly 1.5% of his total attempts. And not a single back had more than 2 catch and runs of 40+ yards. Putting a high value on being a “home run hitter” is majoring in something minor.
  14. You’re 100% correct. The Big 12 has a lot of terrible defenses that turn every RB in the conference into a broken tackle machine.
  15. When you play in the garbage defense big 12 it’s definitely not good. As the tweet I posted (that you replied to) said, he was 17th out of 18 big 12 RBs in yards after contact per attempt. For comparison, Kenneth walker ( 263 carries) averaged 4.44 yards per attempt after contact in a wayyyy tougher conference.
  16. He has 532 carries since 2020, so according to PFF he has 3.10 yards after contact per attempt. I don’t think a 0.27 yard per attempt difference from the tweet I posted is gonna move him up the leaderboards much.
  17. That’s a whole lot of words just to say “I’d rather reach for a CB than steal 2 of the best playmakers in the draft”
  18. There’s tons of interest. Literally the one thing pretty much everybody on this board can agree on is that CB is by far our #1 need. What a lot of people don’t realize is that we don’t HAVE to draft one in the first couple rounds given McDs track record of getting the most out of DBs. It just so happened in this one completely make believe scenario that Wilson and Hall were sticking out like sore thumbs. I guarantee that if the real draft were to shake out this way Beane would make the exact same picks.
  19. I know Breece Hall is the correct answer here but I don’t think there’s a shot he lass til 57 in the real draft. More realistically I would freaking love to get Chenal as Edmunds replacement in 2023. Straight up beast against the run and as a blitzer with the athleticism needed to develop into a stud in coverage as well. Took on and whooped the best center in college football on back to back plays.
