  1. that means Milano and Edmunds are in or game time decisions at the very least...Dodson playing some or more is not a concern based on the Fins game

this is Moss second injury (toe) his first was a neck injury during training camp where he missed several days...way too early to categorize as injury prone, but...he did miss significant time in college due to injury and his run-to-and-thru-contact style does concern me

  2. favorite home game - my first game ever 1970 home opener versus Cowboys (Craig Morton, Walt Garrison) at the old War Memorial Stadium - quite a high-scoring game and OJ scored right in front of me; Tony Greene debut, smallest player ever to wear an NFL uniform I believe...

least favorite - watching Bert Jones and the Colts come from behind to score a lot of points and beat us during the Lou Saban run on O and hide on D days or is it daze

  3. Marrone will oversee the taking thru week 14 and the last 1-2 games some assistant likely a minority will be the interim.

Seems coaches get fired over the bye week - so the next scalp is NYJ Gase fired after 11/15 game against Miami right after game #10 and the start of bye week.

Cincy hangs on to coaches for long streches, BoB in Houston is the GM and coach so that likely would be a right-after-the season decapitation, and it could be a long season in Philly as well...

  4. with Moss the only run to contact RB,if he gets hurt there is no physical runner on the roster or PS ,so does that provide more value than what TJ offers is the question in my mind...Miller does have some injury history as well...occupational hazard of the position

conversely if Motor misses time is TJ of more value than Miller....

He wasn't a winner. He won one great, historic game and that is why he is in. And I think he probably deserves to be in just because of how momentous that win was, but it is pretty sad for the franchise that Namath is the best they've had.

Namath is to the Jets, what Seaver is to the Mets...1969 made the legends...Seaver's body of work much more impressive and Hall-of-Fame beyond any doubts, so dont go there friendoes

This is great. Have to say though I do get all misty eyed when I see clips from the late 80s - early 90s. Not just because we were really good then but it just looks like such a different time. I showed a kid I work with some clips and he couldn't believe how different the game looked. I much preferred the way the game was played then, I also preferred the sportscasters and the way they talked about the game.

do you find yourself yelling at clouds as well now ?

how is Nathan Peterman getting paid a million dollars? i felt bad for the guy whenever he got on the field but then realize he is getting paid for practicing football.

    it happens...

harken back to the Bills 3rd string QB during the Super Bowl runs...he held a clipboard and pretty much nothing else, but is a historical note and or triva question:

Gale Reed Gilbert is a former American football quarterback who played eight seasons in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks, Buffalo Bills, and the San Diego Chargers. Gilbert is the only player in NFL history to be on five consecutive Super Bowl teams, none of which won. Wikipedia

  8. love the fact that we are on an up cycle....never count the Pats out, check Beanos and McD record against, Dolphins on the rise and are well-coached, the Jets are the Jets but will rise up in the swamps of Jersey and give us hell, we have some quality opponents this year so before the annual annointing of our D as "elite" and the 12-4 posts, lets see how good Josh is with Diggs and how good our interior line is before we make Super Bowl plans..

  9. likes the Dolphins a lot - better than us..also  pundits outside the 716 dont think we are all that and a bag of chips...

What I don’t like for Buffalo is how their schedule dovetails into some pretty gnarly stretches, like Weeks 3-6 (Rams, at Raiders, at Titans, at Chiefs) then Weeks 8-14 (Patriots, Seahawks, at Cardinals, Chargers, at 49ers, Steelers). Those could be the kind of uphill climbs that blow up a season quickly.

  10. I see one more year for Brown and two more for Beasley - check the amt of money the Bills are throwing to their WRs (its in the top 5) as a position and with the cap tightening to pay Tre, Josh, and Tremaine coming-up (Milano maybe-maybe not) and with some young WRs behind a true #1 in Diggs I can see them being phased-out mostly because we overpaid based on need last year and they are smallish

  11. want to avoid crowds, the wearing of masks indoor, not sure where to go...or who to go with...going by your bad self...well the advent of techology has a little something for you dedicated, gotta-watch-the-Bills-but-dont-wanna-payalot-for-this-muffler crowd

Introducing...DoFuSports..streaming all major sports as well as college...download from the google and and now apparently the apple play store as of now

Watch all the games from the comfort of your palm, we know your experienced from all the home games you've played before...watched many a game including Bills and Sabres and a lot of MLB games...

  12. incestuous...drafted by Panthers with the the 7th round pick that the Bills traded to Carolina in the Kelvin Benjamin trade to the Bills and traded to Bills for conditional 7th round as well...I guess Dimarco goes to PUP or IR and this guy takes his place...Reggie the G is not red-dee

Tyler Matakevich, Taiwan Jones, Siran Neal, Robert Foster, Darryl Johnson, Reggie Gilliam, Andre Roberts, and now Andre Smith...everyone may not make the final roster, but the Bills are taking a smart approach and trying to build one of the elite special teams groups in the league. The margins for victory are thin and the best teams need to be consistently strong across all three phases.

I will galdly settle for a reduction in ST flags - esp illegal blocking to the back - instead of the big play and a limitation of the big ST play by the opponent

  13. well done

but expecting any team to sweep their division is a very tall order esp with our track record against the Pats and BB; the Dolphins will be improved and might be playing for a playoff spot in week 17 and the Jets seem to find a way to play us tough no matter and eek out  Ws over the years

You have a lot of close games going our way as well

Who knows the effects of the virus once these guys break camp; being younger guys, very social, away from home, conjugal visits, the off-days, the bye weeks...we havent does this before and there has to be positive cases looming...shutting down practices while guys get re-tested, the waiting, possible quarantines, the value of possible replacements, all this and the usual injuries....sigh

  14. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/ = 17.2 M of cap spave available - 14th most in the league - likely to  go down a bit this week with camp cuts and the corresponding dead cap associated but that is league-wide...

Winters official cap numbers were finally published - 1 year 3M - fully guaranteed -some give and take - took a pay cut compared to prior contract but gave him the 100% guaranteed money...not likely to be a camp cut this week...

So..predicting-figuring the OL depth chart...is still a mystery

RT - Ford -  Williams or Nsekhe

RG - Winters - Ford (could be Ford if either one of the above are good enough at RT and we just dont know)

    C - Morse - Boehm

    LG - Spain - Winters

LT - Dawkins - Williams or Bates -

    So the questions are:

Is Williams the backup at LT and RT - does that make Nsekhe a possible cut if Williams is capable of that ?   Nsekhe has the much bigger cap number over Williams as well - plus dont think he swings to LT ?

Boehm is listed as the only backup C - at least until Feliciano returns and when is that ?  a mid-season IR candidate.. I don't see him being carried on active as the spot is too valuable on gameday.

Spain seems safe this season as his cap number is 4.5M guaranteed

When Feliciano returns, someone on the OL likely cut, unless injuries dictate...at that point Boehm could be as he plays only C ?  I dont see Feliciano being cut tho it would be a cap saver over Boehm.

Couple practice squad spots for vets as well which is pure conjecture at this point...flame on beotches

  15. well our interior was gashed a few times last season, most notably the Eagles game and the game against the Skins I had the binocs on them as AP ran wild again, including carrying Levi like a bag of groceries when Wallace tried to tackle him up-high in the backfield...sure the DL has to absorb the OL but LBs need to make the right reads as well and the quickness this all happens thru binocs is something to behold...to me the reads of the LBs is just as important as the interior DL play.
