  1. sigh...hindsight is always 20-20...is also out-playing Cody Ford who was a much higher pick...Browns interior line may be the best in the NFL and will be hard to pay all three of those guys plus Baker the big bucks when those entry level contracts expire
  2. browns game- plan was to pass at Wallace, it worked well, my confidence in Wallace has remained low since, esp in-person with the binocs watching him try to tackle Adrian Petersen above the waist behind the line the scrimmage and bouncing-off like a rubber ball and eatiing pellets; testimonial...cant beat the Chiefs with starters like that my friends...
  3. Wide Rite - Norwoods missed kick in the first Bills SB - didnt hook back in as it did in warmups ? The Music City Mistake - took a review and boy was the close to being brought-back Ronnie Harmon half-ass attempt to catch a ball he said was un-catchable - 89 playoff game vs Browns Leodis McKelvin fumbling a kick-off return against Pats with 2 mins to go and giving Brady another opportunity to win...which he-they did. All those SB interceptions by Kelly - in comparison Montana threw zero in 4 SBs
  4. Wyatt Teller Junior or Wyatt Teller III ?
  5. safe to say the Pegula's got this one right, beyond the football-talent analysis and decisions beano and McD have excellent human resources/talent recognition and developmental skills...lets get some of this mojo going over in the hockey side for crying-effing-out loud...
  6. settling for the usual postcards from the young campers mentioning the new friends they made, the fun they had, and the potholders they made in arts and crafts...
  7. darn I was wondering what was on Sunday TV in Albany GA this fall....sigh
  8. her eyebrows are the scariest
  9. they have an excellent roster and coaching staff and Wentz had his best years with Reich as OC in Philly then they drafted two EDGE rushers 1 and 2; all this after almost beating us on the road and likely would have if their kicker did not have the worst game of his career...sometimes better to be lucky than good...
  10. smart move - they went EDGE like the Bills did in 1st and 2nd round knowing they had Fisher on the hook to plug LT spot with a vet..risk is will he hold up
  11. Patulski/MCDole/Smerlas/Sherman White with Mc-D rotation of Kadish and Lodish (check that man's Super Bowl resume)
  12. predicting season opener - NFL season opener - Thurs nite game at TB and TB followed by Sun road game at Jets - recent history says so then the home opener - Phins
  13. dane brugler whose work I respect from the Athletic ranks him prospect #195 overall and the 18th best UDFA competetive, balanced, vision, quick feet and energy are a plus feasted on poor run fronts and tackling in the MAC lack of explosion and contact power does not project well to the next level - as well as below avg size and speed signed with the WFT...good luck to him
  14. would be his 3rd team since 2018 - a first round bust given the Falcs passing O and the Ravens heavy TE-centric approach...doesnt excite me as stats are mediocre at best...would just muddy the waters I think
  15. and here is one about the North Korean Hacking Army...climbing the rankings over the past 2 years... https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2021/04/26/the-incredible-rise-of-north-koreas-hacking-army
  16. PFF rating has him ranked 36 out 80 for Gs....Browns have # 1 C (Trotter) and former Bill...# 2 G (Teller) who is #1 run blocker...safe to say I wouldnt mind an IOL taken with the second rounder this year...7M in savings to cut Morse to pay Josh and possibly upgrade the position with run blocking improvement instead of wasting on a RB with pick 1.
  17. edge or CB in that order - hoping for 5.5 sacks if its an edge guy or a mid-season starter it its a CB with improved play over Levi Wallace.
  18. going with James D Williams - #31 - he was the other corner to Nate Odomes (sp) during the Bills super bowl run - was a number one pick and got burned way too much...needed a flame-######ant jersey to remain on the field
  19. maybe this is the year - as part of the process rookies dont start or play much here - maybe its the cap crunch or maybe Johnson is the reason
  20. 1. signing your own FAs is not only smart but super-smart when they take home-town discounts...expecting Josh to get his extension just before the season starts. 2. I really like the collection of FA vet depth at the bottom of the roster - depth, competition and value rather than relying on last year PS guys which exposed some roster weakness now addressed 3. so now the draft is about BPA - other than CB, edge, TE, where we need a push - but none of these positions have to be starters at least not right away. Vets are in place this season to mentor the picks as well (Addison, Wallace, OL) other than TE I feel good, as I dont see good options beyond Knox should he get hurt and or a mid-round draft pick helping this season.
  21. we are winning the off-season - each bottom of our bottom-of-the roster is better than the other guys - depth baby
  22. this is a week old, so far he had made over 900K for practicing and the annual 20+ carries fodder during the last preseason game...flashes of brilliance versus other 3rd-4th stringers in preseason game..so he will gross approx $1.5-2M in development before we make a GO-NO GO decision on him likely at end of training camp 2022 unless they cut him earlier as he likely looses the roster exemption status around this time next year....interesting human interest story but can he play special teams (not likely) or be a backup running back on a contender remains a work-in-progress
  23. its modern NFL... I can see one of the Pats having BB numbah and after having a few adult beverages on a slow off-season day calling... Sup...BB...is yo fridge runnin...you got Prince Albert in a can ?
