    Without a winning record in the regular season, you ain't even getting to the playoffs. Regular season record does matter. Of course, winning championships is what everyone plays for, but only one single team wins in each year. Coaching matters, but so does player implementation, luck, and referee competency.

    The only team in my lifetime that I have rooted for that has ever won a championship... and I was one year old (and then 2 years old the next year).

    Getting refunds for your tickets is one thing. And even that is bad because people bought tickets for a reason. But will they reimburse people for all the travel costs, since many people travel to follow their team? What about the time off from work? What an idiotic and thoughtless idea.

    It seems like most of our passes the last few years have been to receivers who ran a route, stopped, and waited for the pass. Hard to get YAC that way. Now, Josh is hitting receivers in stride. Much better, unless you need just a few yards for a first down.

    I think it is a generational thing. Those growing up during the NE beat downs will tend to remember that and it will forever imprint on them, much like those becoming Bills fans now will forever remember the Chiefs as being the impediment to Super Bowl glory.

    I think the fact that Kelly called many of his own plays while in the no-huddle adds some points to his score as well. How many of today's QBs can or do call their own plays? Shows what a field general he was.

    I agree. Desperate times called for desperate measures. The Lions were desperate to keep up with the Bills. They took a lot of chances and won some of them. Odds are, most teams can't keep that up and there will be consequences, ala the onside kick which almost resulted in a TD.

    My wife works remotely from western NY for a small hospital in Boone, NC that was gobbled up by UNC last year. I guess that makes her and Bellichick co-workers. Should be a fun Christmas party.

    I was at that game! One the final play, Tony Greene intercepted a KC pass two yards deep in the end zone and ran it back for a 102 yard touchdown!
