I agree Moss sucked here. I'm just saying we traded for the guy (Hines) who the poster said maybe sucks. Hines sucking has to be on somebody, and I think it's fair to put that on the guy who thought it important to bring him in midseason.

Actually I said that I was not comparing players but you missed that I guess. I was comparing the fact that both were traded midseason (in the same season I think) and San Fran was able to incorporate their guy early and often, whereas the Bills traded for their guy, and he was non-existent on their offense. Also, if Hines sucked? Is that my fault, or is it.....Brandon Beane's fault for trading Zack Moss (who's ended up looking pretty decent outside of Buffalo) for Nyheim Hines, who you say sucks. Why would the Big Baller do such a thing??

You can already see it coming. For some reason when we got Hines, it was just too complicated to get him involved. But McCaffrey goes to San Fran and immediately made an impact. Not comparing players of course, but it's just funny that Buffalo seems to always need tons of time to get our guys "just right."

I was waiting for this. Hows about we wait a full season before we crown him a success story. He had a small handful of good games in his first two seasons. He seems to be trending upward. However, did anybody really think there was much chance of him being our number 1 receiver after last season? Sure, now with rose colored glasses everybody (including me) is hoping he will be, but c'mon.

I think it’s fair to assume Kincaid will ascend. With Shakir, who knows? He came on late, but Robert Foster (or was it Forster, the guy from Jackie Brown) was exciting for a minute as well and he ended up being an absolute nobody. Diggs, I think people are just being too hopeful. Dude fell the f uck off at the end of ‘22 and ‘23. Claims to be “him” yet when he had the chance to show us in the post season it slipped thru his hands. Maybe at one point he was THE difference maker, but I don’t see any more Minneapolis Miracles coming from him anytime soon.

There are a handful of Chiefs fans on here who don’t make things up, who don’t want to relitigate refs decisions in old Super Bowls, and who don’t want to pull the old Dangerfield “no respect” routine. Exactly. Ja’Maar Chase doesn’t have to post that video. Justin Jefferson doesn’t. Stef Diggs doesn’t. No, it’s bad. And him making more money than Travis Kelce is just inexplicable in any scenario. He’s now a backup tight end. It’s a horrendous contract. And what is a “bounce back” season from a backup tight end? Five TD and 400 yards? For 14 million bucks? Get the ***** outta here. This was a historically bad contract, and even though I’m not a huge fan, Schopp called it from day one. Seriously, out of our tight ends last year, he and Quentin Morris had the same amount of game changing plays. One. One for Morris against the Giants (a game we might’ve lost thanks to Dawson dropping what would’ve been a game clincher). And yes he had a bad wrist. Well guess what? If you’re so beat up that you literally can’t do what you’re paid to do, then don’t play, Our number one tight end play demonstrably better without Knox in the lineup. It sucks cuz Dawson truly does seem like an awesome guy, but he’s truly a JAG as a football player, and we’ve tied up superstar money in him.

Seriously of all the bad contracts, the Knox one is just astoundingly bad. We all talk ***** about the Von Miller deal (I sure am) but there wasn’t many of us complaining until the ACL injury. We just had the classic Buffalo Bills luck with that one. But with Dawson it’s just inexcusable. Seriously what did Beane or anybody see that made them think a 14 million plus salary in 2024 made sense?
