Nah.... we just need to knock McD the heck out of the drafting room for this entire draft !!!

Does this team actually have the guts to move on from Tre White?
Toyo321 replied to Jim's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wish all GM's wrote this into all contracts in fine print, of every player and FA that signs on a team, the stated verbiage. The NFL Players Lemon Law. If for any reason after you have signed your new contract or extension, and can not play in at least 50% of your scheduled games as a starter in a two season period, in back to back years, we have the right to terminate any contract that is binding between the player and the team for a single $1.00 Thank you for your service Hasta La Vista -
What in the world do you think is going to happen in 2024. McD and Beane have had their chances to beat KC when it counts in the post season and they have not gotten it done! The regular season wins over KC mean jack ****!! We are drowning in CAP space heading into 2024. We are losing two safeties, our CB's have failed cover KC's TE & receivers in recent playoff game loses to them. We are going to be losing more FA players to this CAP space situation and still you think we can beat this team. Tyler Bass is terrible and a liability now, Von Miller is damn money pit and bordeline being the biggest FA signing bust in Bills history. We have no true WR #2 or #3. Shakir has yet to prove he can be one of these players, not enough sample size on him yet and he is a undersized WR, which does not bode well for durability. Gabe will not be back. Diggs lastest attitude and statements do not inspire hope in 2024, he was MIA in this years playoffs and dropped a pass he should have made to make a game changing & deciding play against KC. His commitment to this team at this point is questionable. Our D-Line and LB's still cant sack a QB in the playoffs when matters & you have to pressure the QB. Our LB depth is a serious issue to be resolved in 2024. Buffalo against KC in our playoff game this year could not stop KC at all. KC had 8 "20yd or more pass plays" we had ZERO against them. Our longest pass play was 15 yards and we only had two of these plays. We still could not even sniff Mchomes on a pressure for a sack. We had zero sacks. We only gave them 7 posessions on offense and they as a team averaged close to 8 yards per play and we could not even average close to 5 yards per play. I have said it before to beat the best, you have to play at your best. We don't have the best head coach or coaching staff to beat Andy Reid when it matters in the playoff's. JA17 still does not get it, that you have to make the correct throwing descisions when the game is on the line, and he failed to do this again this year. Until JA17 learns how to make the critical throw to a WR when its required on the field and when the game is on the line, he is also to blame for these loses. Still to this day JA has proven he can not do it in the playoffs against KC and also Cinci, when they needed to have a critical play to win the game. It has not happened for JA17. Patrick Mahomes has proven over and over he can do this. Buffalo in 2024 will be like watching a dog and pony show, when it comes to players that will be coming and going. We don't have any idea what this roster will look like this year mainly because of the CAP forcing a higher player turnover for 2024. Just adding some more flame throwing material here. Beane and McD decided it was best waste $138.52 million on Von Miller who was quite frankly on the down side of his career anyway, for the possibility of maybe getting 10 regular season sacks and just a couple of playoff sacks. Josh Allen is in his prime and has just need better players surrounding him. They had the chance to put a MVP caliber offensive weapons along side Josh twice, McD and Beane failed to do so. Instead of the wasted $138 million they paid to Von Miller. 1) DeAndre Hopkins 2) Christian McCaffrey Beane and McD will never contribute or win this team a SB.

Tonight just reaffirms that the only way we are going to get by KC is with a complete new batch at the WR position, this includes WR #1 #2 & #3 Diggs will need to get the lead out of his sorry ass and start playing like a #1 WR next year. We need much better CB's than this team currently has on on its roster. Our CB's are a not even on the same level as KC's and KC completly shut down SF tonight with the play of their two top CB's Sneed and McDuffie. Our D-Line every year fails to get to the quarterback when it matters in big games. SF had Mahomes running for his life in this game and almost pulled out the Win. Same goes for KC, they know when to bring it with their blitzing packages and we still in 7 seasons have yet to get a HC or DC figure this out for us. Onto to the draft. Fingers are crossed.

Lets go SF!!!

All I know is the Raiders have the best stadium in the league. This facility is bad ass period!!

It really does come down to coaching experience and the relationship between the HC, OC and the QB. But lets include fate too. Andy Reid has the edge in playoff experience and the offensive know how, his OC and McHomes make the most of what cards they are dealt in every single game. We do not. When you look at what we did wrong this year, bad losses to NE, Jets, Broncos, even the Jags. This team could have won home field advantage through out the playoffs. That one extra week of time off at the end of the season this year would have meant the world to this team on D to try and get healthy and not having all the injuries that were substained in the WC round. It is fate. Until we can stack the deck in favor of us, with better players on offense especially at WR. We will be second place to KC and Cinci every year trying to get to the SB unless we fix the talent on the WR depth chart. Another sore subject is we are bad at spending money on players that are always too old and past the ROI on money being paid out these players. Soley Beane's fault there. How you change a GM's bad money habits are beyond me. We need a new Emoji Giff of Von Miller vomitting. I would use that Emoji on every post. I hated the signing 2 yrs ago and way more now.

It comes down matchup metrics. When it matters. Buffalo has failed to match up and excel in this area in the playoffs compared to KC going back to 2017. Buffalo D metrics in the regular season are above average. But in the post season Buffalo's D averages 23.4 points a game given up to its competion since 2017. Buffalo O metrics in the regular season are also well above average. But in the post season Buffalo's O only averages only 24.5 points per game since 2017. You are not going to win many playoff games with that close of a points margin, scored vs allowed differential, this stat alone exposes this teams flaw in games they have not won in the post season. Their D as bad as it has been even with injuries has been good enough to keep them in games. Its on Offense where this team fails in the post season. It has glimpses of being elite but when compared to KC we are not even in the same league as Reid and McHomes. NO AFC Championships, NO Super Bowls. KC's Metrics D since 2017 23.13 PPG allowed KC's Metrics O since 2017 30.13 PPG scored including all superbowls played. KC in the playoffs since 2017 are 13-2 Buffalo in the playoffs since 2017 are 5-6 Until Buffalo can get more fire power surrounding JA17 this trend will continue. Being just average at scoring points against quality competition in the playoffs is what will lose a you games in the post season. Buffalo's record of 5-6 proves this. They are a sub .500 playoff team since 2017 and the Beane and McD era. KC > Buff until this is fixed.

Lamar and Dak are just going to continue to garner praise from these MVP panel voters based on the fact that they truely do not understand what MVP means. Lamar did not carry his team this year. End of story their Defense did. Lamar is the most over rated QB of all time. He will never win his team a SB. Dak was a shell of himself when he was on the road. When he was at home they were putting up crazy offense stats all year. His team was over rated and played like crap against .500 or higher win percentage teams. Of all the players that were over looked, Josh and McCaffrey should have been the two finalist. But until Josh stops laying eggs against teams they need and should beat. He will never win a MVP. His losses this year were not all on him but the Jets, Broncos & Patriots games were damn ugly for sure.

We need to try and do something new at WR#1 and WR#2. Butt Diggs contract is so massive I think we are just going to have to deal with his BS for now and for the next two years.

Nyheim Hines will not be a cap casualty for FA (Edit: Wrong)

Let him fight it out in training camp with the WR's and Special team players. Its going to come down to that anyway.... -
Yeah that sure as hell is a down grade.... Lol

We need other key postion players that are of more importance than RB & Henry, we don't need him.

Just posted on MSN 2/2/24 ORLANDO, Fla. - Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs, in his first comments since his team was ousted from the playoffs, expressed a bit of uncertainty about his future in Buffalo while admitting regrets about the team's season-ending loss. Diggs, who is participating in this weekend's Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, was asked whether he was optimistic about the future in Buffalo and delivered an answer that could be construed as non-committal. "I feel like I take it day by day," he said. "Obviously, there's a lot of changes going on, a lot of things going on. I can't really put the carriage before the horse, you know what I'm saying? But I got a great offseason in front of me to put a lot of work in and kind of build around what we got and what we're doing. "I can't tell you what the future holds, but I'm still being me." When asked whether he was ready to move forward with the Bills, Diggs replied, "I'm ready to go no matter which way it goes." He did not elaborate. Diggs declined comment after the Bills' 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional round and had not spoken to reporters since the days leading up to the game. In the absence of his comments, speculation has emerged about Diggs' future in Buffalo. Earlier in the season, when asked about his future, Diggs was adamant. He said, "I've never really said anything about being unhappy or any instance of that. So, when you're drawing conclusions as to stuff I've never said, that's what kind of troubles me... I've spoken true words. I've said the same thing over and over and over." Asked about the Chiefs playoff game, Diggs on Friday said, "I've been in league for a long time. Obviously, even as players, some plays we want back and some plays I want back, especially at the end of the game. But it's not much you can do about it. Now, here as you take a couple of weeks to decompress and think about it, things could have been better. But [I'm] kind of rolling with the punches and moving forward."

I guess each loss had its own type of bad feeling & outcome. Josh and 2021 was a team that could have won it all and just needed to send KC packing. Which did not happen due to the worst D play scheme and coaching by a team in any playoff game in recent memory, and it only took 13 seconds, not being able to stop them in OT. I was definatley mad after this game ended. Josh and 2023 I feel we were let down by Beane and the coaching. We had the entire off season to beef up at LB, CB, WR, and S positions. All three of those positions were either old, slow, or paper thin talent wise and unreilable on game day. We had no elite talent at WR#2 or #3, and Dorsey was terrible at playcalling. It was more like "Oh well" after this loss because we did nothing in the off season to address our main issues. We had no real credible backups on this team at WR or LB when it mattered, also as a team the lack of speed at our WR positions is at the forefront, our WR's scare no one. We are one of the worst teams with YAC. Our CB situation was not as bad but was still an issue. Our backups performed okay but we were not the same after Milano, Tre and Benard went down due to injury. Because we draft speed and small at LB they were never going to out physical any team in the playoffs. We were never able to compete when the competition level increased, stuffing the run. KC had a field day against our D in the Divisional round loss this year due to all the injuries, and the lack of true Elite talent & speed at WR & LB also cost us this game too. We have huge holes to fix this offseason and we have zero cap money to do it with.

I am surprised the Browns did this frankly.....There were other better options still out there.
-
I still doesn't matter, Kelce was wide open for that touchdown and there was no player within 5 yards of the guy. Like I said over and over our D coaching has not learned in 3 post season losses to the Chiefs you have to double cover this guy when in matters. We did not again and got burned by Kelce yet again.

Playoff defense not just bad, next level awful

Our D this year has been the walking dead of the NFL. We have had more guys with bad, bloody, banged up body parts playing out there than any other team that I could remember, it has been unreal. -
Det @ SF Game Thread (Please keep the Bills stuff out of this thread)

Amazing how a good coach and youth movement in Detroit can elevate a team so quickly in 2 years, congrats they are heading to a SB..... -
So glad that Lamar Jackson won the MVP this year according to every sports media analyst and all these media shows. I would not even give this guy a MVP award for the CFL. He is soooooooo over rated. That sure a hell was pristine 100% MVP performance on national TV by him today, Lol .

Beane has not brought in a infusion of young talent, we are arguably one of the oldest teams in the league "26th or 27th" going into training camp 2024. Our Safeties are as slow as hell, our corners are middle of the road at best. Our entire wide receivers corps going into next year needs a complete overhaul. We lack any speed everywhere on special teams on a consistent basis, and our special teams have been torched the last couple of years giving up big plays at the worst time possible because we lack speed there too. Our D-Line is good but it is not elite. It fails over and over to dictate the game when needed the most. McD and Beane's fault there. Then there is the playoffs, in the playoffs the Offense and Defense always disappears and when it matters the most they can't make the elite game winning plays to win in the playoffs. It happened again at home this year against KC. Zero explosive plays on O and no Game changing plays by the D. Beane has put us in CAP purgatory for 2024 and the cuts and player turnover is coming, you can bet on it.
