Agreed, that JB had a huge influence on Digg's exit after he no longer made him target #1 on the field. Also think Digg's hit cruise mode in the second half of the season.

Digg's could use little attitude adjustment. Over on Houston Texans forum, people are not liking having this guy in the locker room already. It's been a mixed bag and they too are complaining about him trying to be a devia at WR and he has not even played one game for them yet. Saying he is going to compromise CJ and his play on the field... You can't make this stuff up with Digg's.

Being the fourth highest paid kicker at $6.11 million and being in the BOTTOM of the NFL in 2023 in kicker stats and performance metrics. He was not what I call trustworthy even at the end of 2022. He was still pulling his kicks back then too, even McD had no faith in this guy when the kick was going to be 50 yards. He is not worth his salary. There needs to be a kicker brought in to compete for his position this year. But his contract is the problem and preventing this. Another one of Beane's contract salary debacles'.

I believe Bass is going to have a really bad year this year. He is not a given anymore, at all, I don't trust him either when or if we need a crucial kick. That missed kick against KC really rubbed me the wrong way. Bass is at best a 50/50 kicker at 50 yards. Butker was house money at 50 yards and more and he out kicked Bass in our own stadium. I just don't think Bass can be counted on this year in a close game to tie it or win it outright. He has developed a weird motion on all his kicks where it travels 20 to 30 yards and had an immediate fade to the right. I don't know if he can fix this and it is somehow related to how he is striking the ball. Just not optimistic about him at all this year.

If Rex Ryan had not been fired, and we still drafted Josh Allen...
Toyo321 replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rex was all about the Bling. His Truck and all the perks that went with the HC position. Hell, his teeth are so white you need to wear eclipse glasses just to look at the guy. -
Calling it now: You're all about to witness the arrival of Shakir
Toyo321 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
He will have a chance to prove it in 2024, that is all up to him & Josh. Enough said. -
I must be really bad to always having to deal with this topic, and being linked to it forever. Just being a defensive starter on the team that allowed this to happen is bad enough. I sure as hell would not want this tattoo' d on my forehead. 13 SEC

Agreed, BA11 is really not a good option for this team for 2024, the draft is our friend....

Beane sure has to work on his bedside manor, that is for sure!

Dalton is the Ace in the hole, and Dawson is truly just a face card on the table at this time. Beane is playing poker right now with the entire deck of cards at his disposal this year. Knox for damn sure is possible trade bait this year in the draft.

Are we really going to miss any of the departed players?
Toyo321 replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just two Hyde and Poyer. Just no way to replace that chemistry playing so many years together the way these guys did at such a high level. -
I see Dawson as potential trade bait to get our #1 WR in this years draft.

Draft Joe Milton QB from Tennessee in 5th (or 6th) round?
Toyo321 replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't see that happening but I would like to see us get kicker, Bass sucks and is not what he used to be, that's for sure. -
How would you construct the 2024 Bills WR Room?
Toyo321 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just don't see any teams willing to give up any positions in the top 15 this year. The cost is going to be very very steep with all the QB and WR, OT talent in this years draft. If any team does manage to get into the top 15 via trade or picks this year, it is going to require a substantial package of picks, and future 1st round draft picks beyond 2024. For any team trying to get into the top 15. I am not saying it won't happen, but come draft day some team is going to give a boatload of draft picks and other compensation to get into the top 15. We just have to wait and see who. I don't see Buffalo even attempting that. I see buffalo maybe getting to 20 to take the 4th best WR left on the board this year, it's possible any one of these guys might be there. Brian Thomas Jr. Adonai Mitchell Ladd McConkey Xavier Worthy -
Diggs was only going to be a liability and a cancer to this team this year. He had his play fall off the entire 2nd half of the season last year and that dropped pass in the playoff game to KC was the last straw for me. You want to be the man then you have act like the man and ball out, he did not. He also acted like a spoiled child on and off the field, and on social media. Any WR we get this year in the draft will equal or give us some youth at the position that was sorely lacking on this team, and speed. Beane better have his Sh** together in this draft and not screw this draft up. WR#1 needs to happen in round #1 no matter what position we pick from. Its really funny how I said last year we did not get any better as a team accept for Kincaid we were too old and slow at too many positions, and we way overpaid for certain players, and players that could not start or play up to their contracts cost. I was expecting a mini purge last year. So the player turnover I predicted last year was delayed just 1 year and the CAP situation was fuel for it. Which honestly this team needed. Just dumbfounded how McD has survived though all of this.

Is drafting Diggs replacement a priority in this draft?
Toyo321 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe a little optimism.......... -
I think we are worse at S, DL and WR. I hate to bring in a sore subject but our kicking game is going to tank this year. Bass is going be a liability this year. Special teams we will have to wait and see. We don't have anyone as a threat to return kicks this year they are all gone. Hines was the only guy that could have returned to fix that issue and he is gone now. Have to wait until after OTA's and training camp is over to see where we are.

The Case for Trading Back [Discussion]
Toyo321 replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we could leverage a 3rd pick some how by doing this and still stay in the first round and get a WR#1 then I would be good with that. -
Anyone else feeling pretty good with the Bills?
Toyo321 replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
This offseason really shows how bad Von Miller's, Dawson Knox and Diggs contracts are to this team for 2024, they have single handedly influenced the team's ability ability to sign quality personnel this year, in the FA market. I guess we will have to wait after the draft and OTA's to see where this team is competition wise, to compete against the AFC elite this year. These three players alone are completely replaceable right now. I hate to say it but Diggs will be a issue this year in the locker room. Diggs has the makings of a problem child this year in the locker room and with the coaching staff, we don't know what we are going to get out of this guy for 2024. Sorry but it's all over the internet and it can't all be made up rumors. Besides all this drama, the draft could be very promising if they hit on 3 draftees' that could be starters at WR, S and DE. -
Is drafting Diggs replacement a priority in this draft?
Toyo321 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you really believe Beane has the balls to draft a #1 WR at #28 with Diggs being a loose cannon the past few years when everything is not all about him, on the Offense. I have a bad feeling that Joe Brady is going to expose a cancer on this team, this year named "SD" Stephon Diggs. After seeing this guys attitude last year, the year before and the way he has been this off season, the sooner the better we somehow trade him to another team might become a reality. Just my gut feelings about him. I hope I am wrong. But Josh is the the priority on the team and I hope Joe Brady throws the book at him to design plays that do not rely on Digg's and utilize all the other weapons that this team still has. If he doesn't it's going to a long season on offense. -
Why do we keep signing players coming off knee injuries. Really is that what this team has been reduced too?? What a waste of money on a guy that tanked in 2023 because of a knee injury in 2022, when he injured his MCL and fractured his knee. I don't understand Beane thoughts on this, and his play last year was way below average too with LAC. Whatever..... This is typical of Beane.

Anyone else feeling pretty good with the Bills?
Toyo321 replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We need to turn to a offensive mindset for 2024. We do need to get better on the D side of ball, but we have lost the last two years because our offense was not dominant. Improving the WR quality standards on this team is a must "priority 1" matter. We can't have a stud QB and have substandard WR's. Digg's is a liability and needs to be addressed via the Draft. So the draft will give us some insight on this team if it has learned from the losses in the playoffs. Face it, our D-Line always disappears in the playoffs with this team, so to combat this you go all in on Offense this year. We need to wait to see what happens draft weekend. That will make or break this year. -
This year we are going to need to rely on the Offense more. If we retool with some fresh speed demon WR's in the draft and get lucky on them picking up the level of intensity of the NFL we might be able to make waves this year. Safety is going to be a draft pick that could go 2 or 4th round. I do believe Digg's is done as a Bill. He believes the window of opportunity is gone for this team He really is going to be a thorn in our side this year. I just don't see him having a pro-bowl type of year. So I really see them drafting his replacement in the first round then possibly a safety.
