We are not the same team that played in that game... Especially on D.
-
I hope your right but I have zero faith in McD. He is the worst at preparing for big games.
-
This game is not going to bode well for us. They "Cinci" are back on track and they really dominated SF. SF looked really bad against Cinci, and Purdy was a turnover machine. This is going to be a really tough game Sunday night. The Bills have to play error free and must force turnovers to win this game.

That is why I said the option of McD performing both HC and DC was a bad idea. They needed to bring in a DC from the outside. Like Schwartz, but I think because Schwartz used to be our DC that there was possibly mixed emotions "Bad Blood" about him coming back to Buffalo especially under McD. Like most NFL analysis from outside the Bills organization has mentioned, McD has driven away every good coach on this team. He is not a HC that is respected by other coaches that are on his roster underneath him. All of us can see this on the field and with his mistakes in every single game.

I all the games he has played poorly in, it has come down to the same three problem areas every single time. 1) When he is under pressure he is forced to rush his delivery of the ball he constantly missed the target, it's either over thrown or it is missed and the receiver cant even make an attempt on the ball. It happened in the Pat's game at least 8 times. 2) He is not a good QB when it comes to making the best hot read option and who should get the ball when they are open. He seriously has an issue reading who is the open receiver on a blitz or a all out breakdown from his OL and he takes off out of the pocket. He is not escaping and concentrating on making a good throw. He also did this in the Pat's game. He made throws that were to receivers that were covered and never should have been targeted. He is winging the ball like a he is playing on a high school playground with improper mechanic's and bad throwing technique. 3) He constantly throws balls to his receivers that are in a less than ideal position for the receiver to make a routine catch attempt, and the defender knocks the ball down or forces a incompletion. Many of the Bills receiver have to completely re-adjust their body position to try and make the catch. The QB should put the ball in the best possible location for the receiver to make the attempted catch. I know it's impossible to do this all the time but Josh as of late is sorely lacking in this area. Rodgers, Mahomes, Burrow, Hurts and even Tua all have the uncanny ability to put the ball in the absolute perfect spot for the receiver to catch the ball & get YAC. This is something that the Bills do not accel at. We can criticize any player when they have a bad game, but when you start making the same old mistakes year after year, Houston we have a problem.

When we get embarrassed on the remainder of our nationally televised games, losing these Prime Time games we will get everyone talking and will start the end for McD and Dorsey. I truly do not see us winning any of these games unless something major happens at the trade deadline. Thursday Night Football: Week 8 vs. Buccaneers. Sunday Night Football: Week 9 vs. Bengals. Monday Night Football: Week 10 vs. Broncos. Saturday Night Football: Week 16 vs. Chargers. Not to mention Dallas and Philly & Miami.

Want to know how bad McD is. At the end of the game when the penalty was called for illegal contact on the 1 yd line, McD declined that penalty. If he would have accepted the penalty it would have given us the ability to run more time off the clock and remove time that the Patriots would have left to them. The Patriots would have been forced to use their 2nd time out and possibly their 3rd time out, and we could have essentially run out the clock. He is a absolute BS crap head coach, when this strategy is coming from a IT Engineer that does not make their living at coaching a professional football team. McD went blitz happy in this game and made Mac&Cheese Jones look like a MVP canidate. McD is so out of his league when it comes to coaching, and it is laughable. Also I said the Tre White was still not back to where he should be before pre season. He has not been the same since his injury. Elam was a bust of a pick and we brought in discarded talent to try and compete in preseason for our starting CB's other starting CB2 spot. Same goes for LB. Our LB depth and size was way to small and we had the ball run down our throats again in this game, and how many other times this year as well. Our Safety's are slow as hell. All training camp long and even on the field this year they have been torched by speed on the other teams. Can't close on any opposition in the open field to make plays and are just left standing around, just like Micah was on the final touch down to Gesicki to end the game. He was just standing in the middle of the endzone doing nothing. That in a nutshell that is how our Safety's are this year. And it has happened in multiple games this year. This team is a shell of what it used to be and McD, Dorsey and Beane are directly responsible. Not to mention they have neutered JA17 so badly on the field, he is too is not the same as he was in 2020. His confidence and emotion are completely gone this year. Team is not even close to being a top AFC team right now and I don't see it changing with the players we currently have on this team. The Von Miller and Knox contracts were stupid moves by Beane, and ruined any chance for this team to get the much needed talent on our roster to compete with the other top AFC teams.

When Josh started buying in to the whole Celebrity thing, he has not been the same at QB.

When your defense has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese, it's not a overreaction. Most of this forum complained that we did not do enough to fix the glaring holes you see with this team right now. CB, LB, Safety, WR2. Go back read some of the post this summer, and we were all right. Everyone in our division got better and we did not, accept for NE. We are worse as a team right now, than we have been for the past 6 seasons. Dorsey was never the answer, McD is a F***** terrible situational coach and this team has always played down to its competition. None of this has changed and in fact has gotten worse. Now we see it on the field and now you want us to just sit back and watch this crap unfold right in front of your eyes, and we have to accept this without even the slightest whimper. Please............. This team is no SB contender and hasn't been since the 2020 season. Get over it. McD and Dorsey in 2023 = 2023 Buffalo Bills losing season.

Remember the 2021 season: Concern vs Panic
Toyo321 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is all Panic at this point all the concerns were in pre season and have come and gone, we failed to address all the roster problems. The injuries on this team has sealed their fate for this year. We have no talent left in the pool to step up and make any difference. Where is Von??? MIA!! what a bust!! So much wasted money in his contract. No Milano.... IR No Tre White... IR No WR2... We need to trade for someone NO Knox.... Playing like complete 💩 More wasted money.... No OC Dorsey is crap. Where do you go now to fix this issue. You can't do it now.... No HC McD is a joke at this point. He has no answers and we are all sick of his excuses & mistakes. He single handedly was the biggest reason this game was lost today. No Josh17 where is the old Josh..... That is sorely missing at this time. -
The fact that he was invisible today, and was the same in the last two games, is all that needs to be said.

I would rather get kicked in the Nuts then rather trust The Process!!

This season is a wash…time to focus on rebuild m
Toyo321 replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just can't bare to see what happens against KC, Cinci, Dallas, Philly, LAC and Miami again. It could get really ugly... Really fast -
It does not matter. I would rather be out of it because this team is a only mirage of what we were in 2020. We may look the same from a distance but when you get close up and see what we really are, you realize you have been fooled......looks can be deceiving......
-
He was hurt today. But his throws were all off today by a mile. Over throws and more completely missed throws. He is not immune from criticism with his performance today. He is the most puzzling person to analyze. His highs and lows are worse than the Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster roller coaster.
-
It doesn't take 7 games into the second season for him to figure it out. He had all this offseason to do this and his figure out the OC playing calling duties. Fire him literally!! Dracarys!!

This season is a wash…time to focus on rebuild m
Toyo321 replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, it's our GM signing Von Miller to that stupid huge BS contract that we gave to this F**** guy. This single contract signing has so crippled this team to get the talent it needs to keep pace with the other elite teams in the league, it positively is the worst signing of any free agent in this teams history. What an absolute waste of $120 million dollars to a player that personally was not worth more than a single season contract at his age. McD and Beane are nothing but a curse to this team right now. All the bad decisions are finally starting to rear their ugly heads. -
I absolutely said the same thing before the season started, about McD. Not only not being able to coach but he would be a liability because now he has to call the D this year as well. I was right and this loss today validates my statement.

This team won't even finish the season with a winning record, they could go 7-10 to finish things out. McD and Dorsey are a complete dumpster fire. -
If the Bills Don’t Make it to the AFCCG, Should McDermott Be Fired?
Toyo321 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD has 5 issues to fix and overcome this year. If he doesn't he should be shown the door and we don't look back. This is a must to do list this for the rest of this season. Doing this equates to AFCCG and a superbowl appearance. 1) You have to beat Andy Reid. 2) You have to beat Zac Taylor 3) You have to beat Doug Pederson 4) You have to beat Mike McDaniel 5) You have to beat Robert Saleh Any more losses to anyone of these teams is a bad omen. We are 1-2 right now against these teams and there is a strong possibility we lose every other game against these teams too. Until we beat them when it matters you can not say that the Bills are the AFC team to beat. We all know McD has never beaten Andy Reid in the playoffs when it matters, same thing for Zac Taylor. Doug Pederson and Mike McDaniel are going to be a problem this year for sure unless injury hits these two teams "Tua" or "Lawrence" The Jets are learning to win, Zach Wilson is learning to win too, and they have beaten us already. Zack Wilson will not be the same crap QB we saw and faced in game 1. Hell Aaron Rodgers might be back under center when we play them again. Buffalo will not win the AFCE this year. The offense has no stability and is way too inconstant. To many swings from really good to head scratching really bad. Doug Pederson has McD figured out and will be a problem in the playoffs, Mike McDaniel will not lose our next game in Miami and could beat us in the playoffs. None of these teams will lose to us in our remaining games against them, with this team playing this erratic unsustainable offense as of late, even at 4-2 we have games upcoming that if we play at this mediocre level we will lose, the playoffs will be just wishful thinking. We still have to beat KC, Cinci, Dallas, Philly, NYJ, Miami, and the LAC. But McD and Dorsey do not exude any confidence going against these teams. There is not one team on this list that is a pushover or a guaranteed win. This has the potential of adding up to 7 more loses to the two we have already. 9-8 or 8-9 is real possibility because of McD and Dorsey. Until this team figures out how to play at a sustained performance level that is = to how a SB contender should play, they are more pretenders vs contenders under McD. During McD's tenure the Bills have lost every important playoff game to get to the next level, getting past the AFCCG and ultimately the Superbowl is only next step I will accept for him not to be fired. It's time for him to put up or get the hell out of WNY. -
This is the worst free agent signing in the history of the Buffalo Bills era. He was way overpaid, too old, and now playing at half speed since his ACL injury. There is a saying when you spend a ton of money on a investment that pays you back zero interest or zero benefits. It's a generally considered a bad investment. Von Miller is a bust.

Yeah their fans really have no class what so ever. They we all talking about going after JA17 and purposely trying to injure him, to get him out of the game in the 3rd & 4th quarter. They were even trash talking Tre after his injury too. No Class at all. That is what you get when you bake your brains in that 100° Miami heat all year long!

Tre White Injury Updates (Torn Achilles now confirmed)
Toyo321 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Completely different for a CB vs a QB. A CB will never get back on the field in the same season he has an Achilles injury like this, the demands on a CB to cover the WR is way more physically demanding than what a QB would ever experience with this same injury. -
