Lol I see you've never played football. You do realize that defensive linemen have assignments on every play depending on down, distance, and tume remaining. Its not just "Hey Greg get after the QB" He's only 24 years old, who again to anyone that knows football has played at a very high level to this point. But you just look at sack stats and write him off because he didn't have 10+ sacks this season. I'll bet you barring injury, Rousseau gets over 10+ sacks 3-4 times the remainder of his career.

I really hate this take and the flack that Greg gets on this site. If he was allowed to just pin his ears back and go after the QB every down he'd have his 12+ sacks a year. That's not what he is asked to do in this defense, he sets the edge, engages and disrupts plays in both oppositions run and pass game. Getting double digit TFLs every year is way way overlooked and dismissed here Also it's like people don't watch the games. Our coach's philosophy is to keep people fresh so there are a lot of times throughout the year in 3rd and long situations and Greg isn't even on the field. I don't agree with it as Greg should be out there on those plays 99% of time but again this is another reason why this guy ended up with 8 sacks and not double digits

Shakir is elite. To have the number he had this year while only seeing the field 60ish% of the time is quite amazing. I like the every body eats philosophy but next year this guy needs to be on the field 85+% of the time

Right now the Taylor factor is to big for the NFL to not want KC to make it to the super bowl. There is to much money to be had with her bringing in fans that would never watch the super bowl. What stood out to me watching the NFL micd up was the ref seeking out Mahomes to talk about his botched spike.. laughing it up with the KC sideline. Knowing this TD was directly what followed the 4th and 1 botched call by the refs really really bothered me

Bottom line The refs don't blatantly make game changing calls that go the Chiefs way in the regular season games It already hard to beat the Chiefs but beating the Chiefs and refs is damn near impossible
