  1. Is that TPegs?
  2. I thought so, but after doing a little digging, it seems like the average player pulls in less than that.
  3. Flip side is, let's say he doesn't even get an NBA sniff, and he plays overseas. Conservatively, let's say he pulls in $175,000/yr. Coming back for his senior year may simply just cost him a year of basketball earning potential. Maybe he comes back, improves and grades out as a 1st rounder. Personally, I don't see that happening, as he tends to disappear from games for large chunks at a time. JMHO, but the biggest problem we had last season was defense, especially at the top of the zone, with Girard and Jackson. I don't see that issue improving significantly next season.
  4. Barack Obama, Former Chicago Resident And William Clinton, Former Arkansas Governor
  5. IMO, the people here who beat their chests and declare that they're knowledgeable about football are conspicuously quiet in pre-draft threads.
  6. The Blue Jackets signed Mikhail Grigorenko! I hadn't heard that name in years. IIRC, Know Nothing Sullivan once compared Grigorenko to Mario Lemieux (and Rick DiPietro to Ken Dryden).
  7. Eli is staying in the draft. Kill it, kid.
  8. Kinda looks like Sean Young or Lara Flynn Boyle, although the picture looks too dated to be either of them
  9. Actually, Pasta Joe said that he appeared on TV as well as movies. So, it's probably not Brando
  10. Marlon Brando?
  11. Emeril Lagasse?
  12. The Dolphins, Jags, Chargers and Bengals usually have empty stadiums anyway.
  13. Kind of a tangent, but I cannot stand the Subway "bread" smell
  14. Kind of funny (and sad) that the same posters chime in and crap on any thread relating to Josh Allen, with the same, repetitive drivel.
  15. 1, 3 and (assuming I had chips) 5
  16. I'll also echo those who've recommended The Botanist. Have a bottle of Tommyrotter at home that I might just crack open one of these days.
  17. Would that count great plays he made in the field, or on the base paths, or the protection he afforded other players in the lineup?
  18. When the season consists of 16 games, tailing off for 2-3 games is a pretty big deal (one of which cost the Pats a bye). That's like saying that Mike Trout was the best player in MLB, save 30 or so games.
  19. Carrot Top is the head of the rival cartel.
  20. TBH, I never bought in to the report that Syracuse "flipped' Tape after he committed to Duke. Boeheim is close to Krzyzewski, and I don't think he'd try to flip a Duke commit. ' IIRC, Boeheim asked for Krzyzewski's blessing when Gbinije transferred to SU.
  21. The sanctimony is strong with this take... So is the hypocrisy.
  22. You're pretty upset by this, aren't you? This is like your 3rd post in this thread, basically repeating the same thing. Did you think that he was the best defensive player in the NFL last season?
  23. Tape recommitted to Duke
  24. Bruce Smith was so damn good.
