  1. He was also in Training Day
  2. Gabriel's Gate was downright bad last time I went there. Won't be going back anytime soon. IMO, Bar Bill is the gold standard for wings in the Buffalo area, with Elmo's and Wingnutz close behind. I've been to both the EA and Clarence Bar Bill locations, and really haven't noticed a difference. Speaking of Elmo's, horrible news - their longtime manager & bartender, Adam Blake, passed away last week after a brief illness. Young guy, too. If you've ever been there, you'd know who he is.
  3. better yet, our DC
  4. sounds like you might be a bit butthurt yourself
  5. Do you trust the defense in a one-possession game in the 4th quarter against a good/elite QB? Even if the Bills had beaten the Steelers or Jags, absent Allen and the offense going perfect game 3x, the defense still would have had to have shown up and stopped good offenses.
  6. The throw to Chase down the right sideline was nice, but other than that, it was another unimpressive post-season performance by Burrow.
  7. Another "meh" playoff performance by Burrow.
  8. The defense was horrible against KC last year in the AFC Championship Game (and pretty bad against Indy in the WC game as well). Complete no show in the second half against Houston in the second half and OT in the '20 WC game also. So, are you saying that "McDermott made it a point during the season to mention how the Bills’ defense is Frazier’s system" = McDermott publicly stating that he's called defensive plays as HC only during one game?
  9. Ah, yes. In the season opener, Joe Flacco & Co. hung 47 points on Frazier's defense.
  10. He's pretty much said that during Frazier's tenure as DC of the Bills, he's only been involved in defensive play calling one time, that one time being the season opener against the Chargers in 2018? Would love to see that quote, or his comments confirming the same.
  11. Exactly. No matter how people try to spin it, absent McDermott saying that there's only been one game in which I was involved in defensive play calling, none of us will know for sure. The generally poor (and that's an understatement, in some cases) performance of the defense when playing quality QBs (hell, even Tannehill) is hard to explain away, IMO.
  12. He should get a massive deal in free agent this off-season, right?
  13. How many resources have been spent on the DL? Regarding Tre White being out, how many good pass offenses did the Bills face after White's injury? I'm counting 2...TB and KC, and the vaunted defense was shredded both times.
  14. Cost the Bills not only a potential SB berth, but two 3rd round picks. 🤬
  15. Casual Italian: Mulberry's or Santaserio's Can you narrow down the type of Latin American cuisine you're looking for?
  16. What does Geoff/Jeoph Schwartz have to say?
  17. I said nothing about Frazier being fired. I mean, he's such a great defensive coach, with HC experience, so he should have no problem landing another HC job....right?
  18. The "can't wait for Frazier to leave" comment was a figure of speech. I thought that to be fairly obvious, but....I guess not. Just my opinion, but his time here has run its course. Of course, if he's such a great DC (with HC experience to boot!), he should have no problem landing another HC job, right? Speaking of mind-numbingly dumb, I have no idea what the bolded means. I guess the "good fans" like you enjoy watching the defense get picked apart with little to no resistance in the playoffs as the team is eliminated from the playoffs.
  19. A week later, and I still would prefer that Frazier move on. I wanted him gone after last season as well. It's all well and good that the defense shows out against the likes of Davis Mills, Mike White, Trever Siemian, etc., but come the post-season, when the defense faces good teams - with, presumably, good QBs (New England with Mac Jones being an obvious exception) - Frazier's "bend but don't break" style of defense will not work.
  20. Such a scummy organization. I know that the Chiefs have had on-field success for the past few years, but off the field, the organization is hot trash.
  21. Well, the defense sucked for the first 59:47 of the game as well. Why did the offense wait so long to attack downfield when Mathieu went out?
  22. He reminds me of Steve Belichick, minus the nepotism and weird facial expressions #elitewhite
  23. Not singling you out, because others in this thread have essentially said the same as you, but it's not so much the Hail Murray itself that was the issue, but the plays leading up to it. The D handed the Cards 32 yards in only 23 seconds ....it should have never come down to a Hail Mary. Regardless, I don't think that NYG (or any another NFL franchise) will hire Frazier as a HC, after Sunday night. I think Schoen is floating Frazier's name out there as a favor to his former DC, and to possibly entice other teams to interview him.
  24. yeah, just a biiiit worse than Hail Murray. In both cases, with the game seemingly won, the defense rolled out the red carpet and gave the opponent the opportunity to win/tie the game. Playing not to lose is a recipe for disaster against competent quarterbacks.
