  1. with all due respect, I hope Josh Allen didn't read this. I saw this on Twitter the other day, and...oof.
  2. On a roster with up to 69 players under contract, there are players who are unhappy with either their salary, contract status or playing time? This is revolutionary stuff from Wawrow. Pulitzer Nominating Committee took note, I hope.
  3. I read your post - it was so absurd, that I wanted to make sure that you actually meant it.
  4. Yes, it's a league wide conspiracy against Beasley. That's it.
  5. Surely, if he's still as good and reliable as some here think he is, there has to be an NFL team that can lure him out of retirement, right? As for Poyer, he's so pissed off at the team that he decided to drive on his own, nearly 15 hours, to play against KC.
  6. Examples of this "smoke and talk"?
  7. Why doesn't Wawrow just say what these internal issues are?
  8. Close....but we've been told that yards don't matter. 26 points allowed overall, which is above the Vikes' season average Vikes were above their season averages in 3rd down conversion %, passing yards and rushing yards (and obviously, total yards), and were at their average in 4th down conversion %. When was the last Vikings punt? Who?
  9. What does Benford have to do with this?
  10. Commanders gave up 20 to the Vikes last week.
  11. Maybe he's the new Chris Watson? That said, in order to him to have an impact as a punt catcher, the D actually has to force a few punts.
  12. He's always had issues with snaps under center on sneaks - I had hoped that the issue was in the past, but I guess not. Truly embarrassing. The D has had plenty of time to adjust to not having Hyde and White. The failure by Lewis to not simply knock the ball down on 4th and 18 was incredible....has the defense not learned anything from the past 2.5 seasons?
  13. most of the threads here seem to be about Allen and his horrid play of late (and I'll be the first to say that he has been really bad), but is the defense getting yet ANOTHER free pass today? The Vikes had their highest yardage output of the season today and converted countless 3rd & 4th and long plays. I frankly don't even remember the last time Minnesota punted. Did anyone honestly think that the D would force a punt in OT? Up 27-10 late in the third quarter, the Vikes gash the Bills for an 81-yard TD (let me guess, Sean - bad run fit, and you'll get that fixed!), score a TD on their next drive, and then march 75 yards, only to get stopped on 4th and goal from the 1. In OT, they fairly easily drove downfield for the GW FG. Is this the mark of a good defense?
  14. Oooh, we got a deep thinker, here! Just no consistency in the officiating. We're to believe that there was not a single instance of offensive holding in the first 58:00+?
  15. so you're saying that two plays decided the game?
  16. If Allen is out, it'll be interesting to see whether, and to what extent, the defense will step up.
  17. the next play after the "non-INT", the Jets hurried to the line on 3rd down and ran a play, which did not result in a first down. They then ran a successful fake punt on 4th down. Drive ended with the Miller strip sack, but Allen returned the favor with an INT deep in Bills territory 2 plays later.
  18. Yes, with 84% of the yards on that drive coming through the air.
  19. And we played against a guy who had his career high in completion percentage against us.
  20. Agreed, but when the chips were down, and KC absolutely needed a score (and the refs to assist on the 2-point conversion attempts), Mahomes got it done.
  21. I don't know - Oliver seemed invisible yesterday.
