  1. And celebrating like a doofus.
  2. The loss to KC in 2020 showed us that our OL and DL sucked. Two seasons later, this loss showed us that our OL and DL still suck.
  3. No way. How do you sell him to your fanbase? "Hey fans, ignore the playoff chitshows, like :13, and the Bengal Boatrace - just look at the regular season PPG allowed! That's what really matters!" I didn't saw that they were the reason we lost - I said that the defense has played poorly in each playoff loss. For that matter, the defense played poorly in 2 of the playoff wins as well.
  4. Watson completed 80% of his passes, with no INTs, and had a 121.2 passer rating. Taiwan Friggin Jones had a crucial 34-yard reception. Mahomes 'only' completed 76% of his passes, with 325 yards and 3 TD. Over 100 rushing yards allowed. 60% 3rd down conversion rate. Are these passable defensive performances?
  5. very similar to the KC game in '20. Same issues 2 years ago as today.
  6. What did you think of the defense against KC in the '20 and '21 playoffs, and against Houston in the second half/OT in '19?
  7. No accountability for their bosses (the coordinators), so why should the players be accountable?

  9. Man, people still find a way to defend the defense, albeit in a backhanded manner,
  10. Disagree with the bolded. I thought that the KC offense did as they pleased in the 2020 playoff game.
  11. Agreed. Not sure that he'll ever be 'the guy', though. Felt like at the end of last season, he was ahead of Jaelan Phillips. Phillips, IMO, took a big leap this season, and Rousseau did not.
  12. I hate that it came to this, but glad that others are seeing the light.
  13. His defenses feast against scrub/backup QBs (not so much last week...), but come the post-season, when you face quality passing QBs, his defenses kind of suck. Rousseau? Did he even play today? Beane's drafting at DL & OL has been terrible.
  14. Frazier with another listless game plan. Sadly, I think he'll be back next season, and next season will end as the last 3 have - with a failure by the defense.
  15. it was against San Diego, I think
  16. Shady McCoy
  17. After Knox's drop in the EZ, Bass made a FG to make it 17-0. Miami had zero momentum at that point. Bass then proceeds to kick off OOB, giving Miami a drive start at the 40. I feel that this is the 3rd or 4th time this season that Bass has kicked off OOB. Miami scored a FG on the ensuing drive, and then, the floodgates opened.
  18. I'd be thrilled if, for the remainder of the post-season, the defense took the ball away as often as the offense gives it away, and if the sacks for were at least as many as the number of sacks allowed. I'm quite sure that we won't be facing any QBs the caliber of Thompson any time soon.
  19. So you think it's a foregone conclusion that the Bengals will do something next Sunday that they've done only 3 out of 17 games this season?
  20. Is "Big Dog" Mixon having flashbacks to college, and thinking that the Bengals are playing Colorado?
  21. Hopefully, the Bills defense will step up and have similar results as the Baltimore defense did last night
  22. that's still more points than the Dolphins averaged with Thompson at QB.
  23. Are there defined criteria for the Sky Judge to call in and overrule one of the countless blown calls on the field? It seems like there's no rhyme or reason for the involvement of the Sky Judge, much like that Black Jacket Refs who ran onto the field in the '20 WC game against Houston.
