Offense is pretty clearly more effective when Allen is under center. If we're running Cook from under center, that's fine. But if we're running play action with Cook in the backfield, that's an issue, because he's horrible in pass pro.
Sherfield and Shakir are JAGs, and Davis is a wildcard from one week to the next (aside from the sloppy fumble, I'm pretty sure that he didn't catch the pass on the first play of the GW TD drive). Knox is also unreliable - he looks like a 50-year old man when he tries to bend down to catch passes below his knees. I don't know what the issue is with Kincaid, but he needs to be more heavily involved in the pass game, and not just as a safety valve.
I don't think that 2-3 designed Allen runs would hurt, either.
