  1. Not a chance. What a complete dumpster fire performance by the defense last Sunday.
  2. And in the season opener this year.
  3. Completely shocked that the Patriots, Jets and Giants offenses have been complete trash so far today. Maybe allowing easy, high percentage completions to crap QBs is not a recipe for success?
  4. You're all over the place with this. 1-2 Hail Marys per year (in your estimation), over 25 seasons (2023-1998 = 25, not 30) = more than 100-1 odds = odds of being struck by a meteor? I'm inclined to believe that we did not face as many game-ending Hail Marys as you estimate, but that's another discussion
  5. It’s not like the Bills had previously been in similar situations, and been burned in said situations…
  6. How many end of game Hail Marys are thrown against the Bills annually?
  7. 1998 vs. New England.
  8. Do you think that was Dorsey or McDermott? Seemed to me like it was more of a tempo thing, than anything.
  9. it'd be one thing if this was an offense that generally has good 'YAC' output, but it usually doesn't fare well in that category (last night was better in that regard).
  10. Yep - new fans don't remember that game. Ben F'n Coates.
  11. So your comment upthread, "Godwin was likely not the initial target", really made no sense, as you admit that no specific player is generally targeted on a Hail Mary.
  12. Yes, could have been OPI as well. My point was that the Bills being called for DPI on a Hail Mary isn't a really far-fetched scenario, as it's happened before.
  13. Oh yeah, clearly, a Hail Mary is drawn up with a specific player/target in mind ....LMAO.
  14. Once the score got to 24-10, it seemed like the offense's tempo slowed down. I wonder how quickly the plays were being run prior to the last TD, as opposed to thereafter.
  15. You think that Hail Marys are drawn up with a specific target in mind? The Bills have been called for DPI on a Hail Mary before.
  16. Good post. Unfortunately, I don't think you will get a substantive response as to why the team seems to make the same mistakes (or types of mistakes) repeatedly - the responses will be along the lines of "every team wins close games", "this is the NFL" and "look at the point differential".
  17. The offense sputtered once the tempo was slowed down. Looked like the offense lost its rhythm
  18. He was absolutely mauled on the 2nd to last play from scrimmage. Not sure how that wasn't a hold.
  19. Well, it was before Allen went into the tent. are you Ken Dorsey?
  20. oh man, the apologists are now attacking one another!
  21. should've learned their lesson after the NYG game, right? Funny thing is, they did sneak under center the following series after the 4th down incompletion to DK.
  22. Sounds like a run to me.... Also, does Shanahan make the same mistakes over and over and over again?
