  1. The Williams pick didn't make sense to me. Maybe he will be an above average NFL player one day, but the pick - given the needs at S and WR at the time, and having Milano at LB - was odd, IMO
  2. During the week….when he was wearing a wrist brace?
  3. It's a pattern, for sure.
  4. I do wonder what sorts of assets Allen would fetch in a trade.
  5. I can't find anything on this, but was Tim Settle fined for his bogus RTP penalty against the Bengals?
  6. Topics like this remind me of a line from the movie Stand By Me: "I Never Had Any Friends Later On Like the Ones I Had When I Was Twelve."
  7. I appreciate the explanation for the amount of the fines, but doesn't the NFL have the discretion to waive fines, if they deem that the flagged offense is not worthy of a fine? Clearly, the NFL can impose fines on plays on which no penalty was called (e.g. the cheap shot by Volson on Hyde). Along those same lines, did the NFL deem Taylor-Britt's slide tackle on Kincaid to be a clean play?
  8. No *****...you don't say!
  9. Nope. No flag on the slide tackle, no flag on the hit/taunt on Dell, no flag on the "block" on Hyde, and no flag on the hit on Stroud.
  10. I don't see the Bengals winning an SB. Offense is incredibly mediocre in the post-season.
  11. Truly unlikeable team, in every way.
  12. how was that not a blindside block in the CLE/BAL game?
  13. It's been that way since Week 8 of last season, to be honest.
  14. Eric Washington. Shockingly, he's yet another Carolina retread.
  15. Anything stopping them from forcing a turnover more than 1x/month?
  16. It’s the Madden Curse
  17. Not a big fan of Jackson (or Benford, for that matter), but after his performance on Sunday, calling for his benching at this point in time is a bit strange, IMO
  18. Is it unreasonable to ask the defense to come up with a turnover? 1 in 4 games is absurdly embarrassing, injuries or not. If the backups can't be expected to perform at an NFL level, then that's on Beane.
  19. Never mind sacks, it didn't seem that other than on 2-3 occasions, he was getting push in the pass game (on 45 dropbacks, I believe). The TFL in the run game were on perimeter runs.
  20. Are the Cover 1 guys still spouting "advanced" metrics today, to show how good this team really is?
  21. It worked in London. Beane said last week that the team is still searching to find its identity - just give them time!
  22. Rousseau is not playing like a first round draft pick, and the curious case of Ed Oliver continues.
