  1. Yes, bad guys (worth noting that McCoy was signed by a prior Bills regime....and subsequently picked by KC). Does that make the Cheifs reign of terror any better? Do you ever tire of your schtick?
  2. and Charles Omenihu.... and Frank Clark.... and Tyreek Hill.... and Jovan Belcher.... and Andy "The Enabler" Reid...
  3. I believe that Wycheck passed away on the day of the Kelce/Toney play (and Mahomes Meltdown), so maybe that's the source of your confusion.
  4. The DL made the Bengals OL look like the Hogs.
  5. And the DL got whipped in the run game.
  6. Per Pro Football Reference, the Bills started Rousseau, Lawson, Ankou and Settle that day. They have disruptive players on their DL, that's how.
  7. "Good" players can make plays against weaker competition (like some teams that playoff teams such as the Bills face in the regular season). But when the competition level is ratcheted up, like in the playoffs, "good" players make fewer plays. It's not easy to win a SB without a great, disruptive player on the DL.
  8. This is kind of weak - nobody said that there's "no talent" on the DL. MRags' first post in this thread was (in part) as follows: Rotate 17 defensive linemen every game and see how little snaps he can give to the actual difference makers on the defense Who are these "difference makers" on the DL? I can't get a straight answer - you're obviously an expert, so please, do tell!
  9. I understand that (I actually said as much upthread)....but I was told in this thread that the lack of sacks in post-season games was due to conservative coaching.
  10. Yep, we really got after QBs on good teams, with good OLs.
  11. Surprisingly, I agree with your post. But the quoted text wasn't from me.
  12. So in the playoffs, McDermott coaches the DL to NOT rush the passer, but in the regular season, the DL is given the green light to rush the passer with full force?
  13. Ok, if you can tell me what schemes McDermott/Frazier could have run, that would've resulted in Oliver, Rousseau, Epenesa, Basham (LOL) showing up and making a difference in the Bills' playoff losses, please do.
  14. Well, you tend to play teams with better OLs and better QBs in the playoffs (aside from Skylar Thompson, Mason Rudolph and Mac Jones). We have self-proclaimed football experts in spades here - if anyone can tell me what schemes McDermott/Frazier could have run, that would've resulted in Oliver, Rousseau, Epenesa, Basham (LOL) showing up and making a difference in the Bills' playoff losses, please do. Thanks in advance.🫡
  15. I would prefer that the front office prioritizes the offense - get Allen a couple of more weapons, get a big RB, and fortify the OL. I don't think that the front office is particularly good at evaluating DL talent.
  16. Guys like Trent Murphy, Quentin Jefferson, Mario Addison, Vernon Butler, and Boogie Basham strike fear into the hearts of OL and QB throughout the NFL. Will guys like Epenesa and Rousseau magically turn into "difference makers" in their 5th and 4th NFL seasons, respectively?
  17. Can't made chicken salad out of chicken shite
  18. Beane hasn't delivered any difference makers on the DL.
  19. Just glossing over the Super Bowl against Tampa Bay?
  20. LOL, the "gulf has widened" between Allen and Mahomes....yes, the gulf was as wide as a Bass FG. "The all-time greats win a 'bunch' of super bowls". Is Peyton Manning an "all-time great"?
  21. Syracuse declined an NIT invitation. Supposedly, there will be a mass exodus of players once the transfer portal opens tomorrow.
  22. You would think & hope so, but I kind of doubt it.
  23. Diggs is vilified for cryptic tweets, but Hill seems to skate by after numerous incidences of DV/assault
