Is RPOs a new term being used for this team? It's run-pass options right? Is it more than that? It seems to be something I see in multiple threads.

Patriots could have easily offered 3 first round picks and all 3 would have likely been in the 20s - 30s. That's my guess and it's no wonder they said no. Really any playoff team could have offered a 1st round pick in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Beane had said they do multiple mock drafts where someone is assigned a specific team(s) and each person is responsible for assessing that teams needs/roster. Then each person explains why they went with each pick. He said it is a good practice and it is sometimes eye opening. I think they had a good idea Edmunds or James was the Charger's target. I like the pick. It was a huge need. Beane said Edmunds was the pick at 12 if they didn't trade up for a QB. In the Bills minds, they got two top 12 picks. I wonder who they would have got if they stayed at 22?

McDermott is a defensive coach. The guy knows defense and knows Tre would be a fit for his defense. There was no way he was going to trust a front office that wasn't even going to be there in a few days, to pick his QB. He knew there would be a new GM and he knew the 2018 QB class had more potential than the 2017.

"This front office"? The front office that passed over Watson and Mahomes isn't even a part of the team right now. McDermott, the coach, is the only decision maker that had anything to do with the 2017 draft. I also like to see Bills fans sticking up for their team.

Glad to have you on board. I almost can't believe we were able to draft this guy. I may he wearing those Bills glasses 26, but I believe we have something special in Allen. He's in the same situation our Bills were in last year..... People making jokes about the Bills, "trading talent for measly draft picks", "17 years without playoffs", etc. etc. Now it's happening with Allen. He'll prove them wrong too, just like his team did. Can't wait.

It won't be long and you will hear about how the Arizona Cardinals coveted Josh Allen and how they were pissed about missing out on him. Sure they will tell their fans that Josh Rosen is the guy they coveted, but the guy they wanted was Josh Allen. I have 0 problem with Beane using #12 and the two 2nd round picks because that is the reason he acquired those picks, so NO ONE, including the Arizona Cardinals, could match him. He even had an extra 1st if he needed to change things up and offer a different combo. Beane mastered this draft and got his franchise QB.

Wonder who offered a 1st this year and a 1st next year, for ONLY Baker Mayfield. I thought teams never told the other trading party who they were after.........I remember Beane saying that he would never tell the other team. So glad we have Beane.
