  1. Big time offenses will get you to the playoffs, but defense DOES win championships. That is the reason why these high powered offenses don't make it to the Super Bowl. You need a strong (elite) defense and an effective offense.
  2. You forgot to mention that he is really fast and can hurdle guys, while running like a toddler.
  3. That makes me think they want young guys and vets OR this rebuild is still a few years away, like 2020.
  4. If there is still an unknown (which is likely) with Josh after this season, they better get a vet backup that can win games. If they get FA OL and WRs and draft some blue chippers on Offense, they better have a better plan B and C at QB than they did this year.
  5. I have come back to reality mid game this week. I should have never expected playoffs again this year. It's always been about 2019. FA pickups and draft picks will turn this team around.
  6. Agreed. Terrible OL. The worst WR Corp I have EVER seen. OC, playcalling, etc. It all makes it difficult to know if he'll succeed. I suppose the OC could succeed if they had better personnel too. We can't fast forward to 2019 fast enough.
  7. That's what's important to remember. I think the Pegulas, Beane, and McDermott all knew what was coming this year and they all agreed that it was a 3 - 4 year process. They knew it was about 2019. A lot of their success though depends on the QB position, so I hope Allen turns out to be a franchise QB.
  8. His windup looks weird, but it would be exciting to have a Bull on this team. He's considered a high 1st round pick though right?
  9. I like both too, but is Jackson a better prospect than Josh Allen?
  10. Simple logic that Josh Allen is better than Josh Rosen and that Rosen sucks. Ask any Cardinal's fan who they would rather have. Ask their coaches or front office.
  11. So are we all good knowing that we got the better Josh (Allen), and that Josh (Rosen) is going to be the worst of all the 1st round QBs taken in the 2018 draft?
  12. I think last night's game shows why Arizona tried so hard to trade up for Josh Allen, but we're disappointed when Beane outbid them. Then they had to settle for Rosen. Settling never works out.
  13. Must be because Rosen has slow eyes and can't make the proper read in time. He's also not athletic enough to take off if the line breaks down.
  14. I thought the requirement was to have stone hands, no hands, use your helmet as hands, or have butter-fingers.
  15. I wonder if Daboll was in agreement with this one? I would imagine he was the reason Foster was on the roster.
  16. Interesting read, as it discusses UCL injuries. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5825334/
  17. The Bills got Allen and Edmunds in the first round this year. Couldn't they have taken Mahomes at 10 and then traded back into the first to get Tredavious White?
  18. Because we already have WRs on the verge of breaking out. One or two may even have more than 3 catches this week and may eclipse 30 yards each.
  19. Did he ever play for Carolina?
  20. Did I read somewhere that this injury will never heal 100%? Is that accurate?
  21. I wish Peterman was cut, BUT the OC needs to give the poor guy plays he can succeed in. As soon as he looked left, I knew it was a pick. Use the middle of the field and select plays he can make with his abilities. Look at CJ Beathard's game against the Packers. Use that as a guide. Beathard has similar traits as Peterman.....from the draft analysis: CJ Beathard: Bio: Two-year starter who earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors as a junior, throwing for 2,809 yards and 17 touchdowns with five interceptions. Threw for 1,929 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior with 10 interceptions. Pos: Intelligent game manager with minimal upside for the next level. Patient in the pocket, effectively sells ball fakes and does a terrific job setting up screen throws. Displays a sense of timing on passes, relatively accurate and does not make receivers work for the reception. Shows vision and overall awareness. Buys time for receivers, does not make poor decisions and is relatively accurate throwing on the move. Puts touch on throws when necessary and throws a catchable pass. Remains poised under the rush and does not get rattled. Takes the safe underneath outlet if nothing else is available. Neg: Lacks size and struggles withstanding the rush. Does not possess the bigtime arm, cannot drive passes downfield or put speed on the outs. The further downfield and out to the flanks he tosses the ball, the less accurate he is. Analysis: Beathard is a solid dink-and-dunk/timing passer with a terrific understanding of the position. He’s only fit for certain systems but is worth having on the sideline as another pair of eyes.
  22. Speaking for myself....this is why I am pissed. We all knew what would happen if Allen got hurt, but apparently the Bills didn't. For crying out loud, they went how many games with just Allen and Peterman as your QBs? The guy they now want to play has been with the team a week? We've been screaming for a vet QB since forever. It's frustrating from a fans point of view, when we can see the problems, but the guys getting paid to do it can't.
  23. Oh no. Now he's got the "we'll show you that Peterman can do it".
  24. Start checking mock draft sites to see who we are taking with the 1st overall pick.
