  1. Too risky too release him and then hope no one claims him.
  2. Stats while at Chicago: Season Team Passing G GS Comp Att Pct Yds Avg TD Int Sck SckY Rate 2016 Chicago Bears 7 6 129 216 59.7 1,611 7.5 8 14 6 43 68.3
  3. Why are we going from "strongest arm in the NFL" to noodle arms? Are they trying to see how many pick 6s they can get?
  4. Didn't I read the same article last year, when he was on the Rams?
  5. Our luck, we keep him, and then a few weeks later a legit legal issue will come up.
  6. This is Kevin Massare. I think he is legit.
  7. Is Kevin Massare (Locked on Bills) a legit source?
  8. Probably just because he's an older guy, that hasn't played in a while. Sounds like my every day, and I still go to work.
  9. So, you would be thinking Bosa (or top pass rusher) or trade down in 2019 draft? Is there any other game-changing pass rusher in this year's draft?
  10. What is the purpose of tanking in the NFL anyway? Just to get a high first round pick? To get THE first pick? To get a high pick in each round? In the NHL, tanking could get you the first pick in a draft that gets you a top pick that could turn your team around. Is that possible in the NFL? Not sure, but would a team that picked a top 10 QB the prior year tank the following year? I'm guessing that if the Bills indeed are tanking, that they will trade their high round 1 pick for a boat load of picks. In the Bills situation, already having a QB of the future, it's the only reason they would tank, right? A DT or OT or even a WR in the top 5 picks doesn't seem to make it worth tanking.
  11. Just in general, that we Bills fans have pushed hard for guys, and it turned out the Bills should have listened.
  12. Not saying you're wrong, but we fans have been right on several players the Bills should have drafted.
  13. Patriots and Steelers. I think I remember reading that McDermott read Belechick's book.
  14. Early morning grumpiness by me I guess. Obviously I'm no GM, but this guy doesn't seem like the kind of WR we are used to. Though, maybe we (me) should get used to WRs that are in this mold (smaller) like the Patriots seem to add. "McKenzie (5-7, 173 pounds) was selected by Denver in the fifth round of last year’s NFL draft out of Georgia. He showed promise as a rookie but ultimately lost his starting punt return job after fumbling six times".
  15. This guy's better than Tanner Gentry or any other WR on practice squads?
  16. Thanks! I remember that movie. Loved it. Totally forgot about it.
  17. Please help. What movie is this?
  18. WR – Benjamin. Terrible. LG – Ducasse? Seems more like a backup G to me. C – Bodine? Seems more like a backup center to me. RB – McCoy. I don’t expect him to be on the team in 2019. RG – John Miller. Need to get better here. RT – Mills. Need to get better here. WR – Holmes. Only OK at special teams. Not a starter at WR. (edit) QB - Peterman. Anderson. Not sure how I forgot this, but yes, probably both will not be on the roster next season. We need a quality vet backup for Allen, and I would like to see another young guy that has some talent, to replace Peterman. LB – Alexander. Still a good player, but he is getting long in the tooth. DT – Kyle Williams. Retirement. DE – Murphy. Guy can’t stay healthy. DE – Hughes. Still a top player, but will he be traded? CB – Gaines. Need to get better here. That is a ton of players. Can the Bills fill these spots via FA and the draft? Is it realistic to think the Bills can fill these spots with starters that will improve the team? I think it is possible with the cap money ($91m) and draft picks (10 – below). 2019 draft picks: Round 1: original pick. Round 2: original pick. Round 3: original pick. Round 4: original pick. Round 4: additional selection acquired from the Kansas City Chiefs as part of Reggie Ragland trade. Round 5: original pick. Round 5: additional selection acquired from the Oakland Raiders as part of AJ McCarron trade. Round 6: original pick. Round 7: original pick. Round 7: additional selection acquired from the Carolina Panthers as part of Kevon Seymour trade.
  19. I admit. That did run through my head. McCoy did appear to hit his head, but I immediately thought this was a ruse. I also am a very cynical person though.
  20. Are you hoping they take Hebert? I don't know much about him. Just wondering because of the screen name.
  21. They don't realize that Bean and McDermott and the Pegulas all expected this to happen. They expected 2017 and 2018 to be bad seasons. Being a playoff team in 2017 was great, but it gave EVERYONE unrealistic expectations for 2018. 2017 and 2018 were always about tearing it down, while adding some key pieces or young players growing (Hyde, Poyer, Allen, Edmunds, Dawkins, Jones) and 2019 was about building it back up. That has always been the plan. McDermott hasn't been preaching about the "PROCESS" for nothing.
  22. Well it's not like he threatened anyone with an AK47.
  23. Well, it didn't work moving him away from Buffalo, so maybe bringing him will.
  24. Don't mind me. I'm trying to turn a leaf and not be so pessimistic about my Bills.
