Updates from Senior Bowl week in Mobile, AL

Based on last year, I bet the Bills have two 1st round picks. Trade down to get more picks and take their 1st first round pick, then trade back into the 1st with the picks from the trade down. They are looking for elite players in my opinion. -
I wonder if this was an Andy Reid decision or ownership coming down hard on Reid, forcing him to make a change? Maybe Reid is on the hot seat.

I will be shocked if he doesn't end up being a Patriot. -
I just wonder if the Bills get a top C in FA and then draft a young C or you vet C that is better than Groy and Bodine. I think the Bills will be ugrading starters and backups.

2019 Reese’s Senior Bowl Rosters Announced

Would love Jacobs. Everyone says running backs are a dime a dozen, but an established team like KC or the Eagles will ***** him up. Just like the Patriots drafted Sony Michel. -

Missed it. Anyone stand out, especially at WR, OL, RB, DT, TE, and LB?

Bills hire Heath Farwell as ST coordinator
PIZ replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm curious to know your thoughts, since it seems some are still not trusting the process. Sean McDermott was hired by the Bills January 11, 2017. The draft that Mahomes was drafted in was April 27, 2017. Realistically, is that enough time for McDermott to analyze / research Mahomes and every other QB prospect and other draft prospects, and be able to make a qualified assessment of whether that guy is worthy of the #10 pick? He knows defense, and it was definitely more conservative and less risky to trade down and take a defensive player. If you were a new HC, would you trust a GM that is on his way out, to make a QB pick for you, that you will be forced to support for the next 3 - 5 years, because your team invested the 10th pick in the draft for him....or would you rather draft what you know (defense) and wait until your new GM is in place and be able to work with him to pick the QB that fits what you want in a QB? -
If the Bills can get an OT, RG, and C in Free Agency and re-signing Jordan Phillips, would you be opposed to them taking Hakeem Butler (WR) at 9, and then trading back into the 1st for Jacobs (RB) or Hockenson (TE)? They all seem to be guys that could help improve the O. The defensive draft is deep on D, so that could get quality D prosepects later in the draft.

Bills hire Bobby Johnson as offensive line coach
PIZ replied to GimmeSomeProcess's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tom Brady is 41 and Josh McDaniels is 42. I wonder which one Kraft would rather see coaching elsewhere? Obviously I have no idea if Brady would even want to coach, but I bet he could get a good staff together and would be as good of a HC as these other inexperienced guys. -

Makes me wonder if Tom Brady is going to retire as a QB only to become Belichick's replacement as Head Coach. If Kliff Kingsbury and Zac Taylor can become head coaches, why not Tom Brady? Then the Bills would never be rid of him for the foreseeable future. -
Redskins may want to trade up for QB - targeting Haskins
PIZ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would love to see Denver trade up to 9 with Buffalo, to secure a QB. It has happened before, where a team just moves up 1 spot because another team may trade to that spot and take their guy. Then Buffalo could trade down from 10 to 20 or so. They could use their extra picks to move up in any round they wanted. -
Ha. I can relate. I am going to cut the guy a break.

Seriously, what is wrong with this guy? Are there other examples of him acting like this?

Bills hire Heath Farwell as ST coordinator
PIZ replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure what kind of a guy Rivera is, but is it possible that Rivera called Beane/McDermott and said "hey, I see you guys are looking for a ST Coordinator. You really should look at at Heath Farwell. He's an assistant here, but he is deserving of a ST Coordinator position. He won't get it here, because we have our guy, but he deserves a shot somewhere"? Those kinds of connections (to your former team) are likely to happen. -
Is this real?!?! W....T.....H????

Corey Matthaei - Assistant OL coach - KC. Thats the only current one I see as a fit that would be a promotion.
