If I remember correctly, there were hints from Beane that he was upset with Indy. I think Beane may have had a trade in place with Indy, but Indy reneged. That was just speculation. However, in hindsight, I bet Beane is happy it worked out that way. Josh Allen is the right QB for the Buffalo Bills.

........ or they are split on the Jonah Williams / Ed Oliver thread. If they sign Philon, they can go Jonah Williams at 9 (or trade down and take OT Rizner) and then RB Miles Sanders or TE Irv Smith in the 2nd.

You just don't realize that Beane isn't done. He's not done improving the OL, DL, LB, RB, TE, CB, S, Special Teams, AND WR. All of these moves were just 1 step. Step 2 is the draft. Beane has 10 picks to play with and he will continue to make moves. He'll improve this team so much in the next few months that playoff teams will be picking up the guys that don't make his 53. Get on board and enjoy the ride.

Oliver on this D would be awesome. I never thought we'd have a shot at him. Getting him at 9 without having to trade up for him would propel this D. Back in Aaron Donald's draft, I can remember fans on TBD wanting him as well. That didn't happen, but I hope those that want Oliver get their wish.

I would love to see the Bills draft RB Josh Jacobs, but I think they will take an OT, DT, or LB before RB. I also think he goes in the 1st and I expect OT or DT to be the Bills pick at 9.

I think he'll be really happy if they draft "Alabama" OT Jonah Williams.

Ziggy Ansah - 30 years old at the start of the 2019 season. Jerry Hughes - 31 years old at the start of the 2019 season. Plenty of juice left in both. Sign Ansah and extend Hughes.

This reminds of when Donahoe was playing hardball with Sam Adams in free agency. I bet the Jets end up signing him.
