  1. I take it this was discussed before?
  2. NFL.com Nate Clements, Fletcher, McGahee, etc.....
  3. If somehow they'd take Nate Clements in a trade for him I'd do it.
  4. Hopefully, Buffalo was one of those other teams. He would be smart to go to Buffalo. If Mularkey falters, he would have a shot at being the HC. Sun-Sentinel
  5. If Marv indeed does want to keep Mularkey, he needs to come out ASAP to show his support of him. If a legend in Buffalo thinks highly of Mularkey, it will be easier for fans to support him. Nobody in Buffalo ever was 100% behind Donahoe, but with Marv, fans would believe.
  6. I think it was a Geritol or Depends commercial that aired.
  7. It's possible that after hearing the vets B word, that Ralph doesn't like JP. Maybe Ralph is the one that wants to start Holcomb. Maybe JP gets traded. If the owner of the team says trade the guy, or start the guy, the GM and coach have to listen.
  8. Not a bad idea. I like it.
  9. If Donahoe and Mularkey stay on, the Bills can win if these changes are made: 1. Fire Tom Clements---replace with Wyche. Frank Reich would be an excellent QB coach. 2. Improve the O-Line through free agency. Jon Runyan, Steve Hutchinson, & Lecharles Bentley would be huge. Cut Big Mike, Teague, and Gandy if you have to to make $ room. 3. Would like to keep Moulds, but if cutting him meant we could get Antwan Randle El I'd do it. 4. Draft D-Tackle in the first round, and possibly the second. Sam Adams is likely gone, and Edwards could be re-signed cheap. 5. Could be replaced to save $$$: Milloy, Vincent, Moulds, Adams, Williams. 6. Resign Clements or franchise tag, unless you can get a top 10 pick to draft a top D-Tackle.
  10. I liked it, but I did think it was a little slow moving at first. I've never read the books, but I thought it was a good movie. I tend to rate movies like this against my favorite of all time, Lord of the Rings, and I wouldn't rate it in that category. I did like it, and I will probably buy it when it comes to DVD. By the way, my kids loved it.
  11. With the power struggle Donahoe had with Cowher in Pittsburgh, and Rooney ultimately choosing Cowher, you wonder how much influence Cowher had on those drafts. The Bills lines are terrible. Beyond Terrible. You wonder if any coach could have won with them. Could Mularkey really be a good coach? Maybe Ralph gives him more control over picking his own players?
  12. Those were the top coordinators that will be available. Before that, he mentioned Brian Billick, Mike Sherman, and Herm Edwards.
  13. Because we lost our starting DT + the defense would obviously be on the field many more times than 2004 because he once again failed to stabilize the offensive line that has been terrible since Hull, Ballard, Ritcher, etc.... Plugging in Mike Gandy as your starting LT and Bennie Anderson as your LG, keeping a overmatched Teague at C, injury plagued Villariel at RG, and a RT who isn't mentally ready to play in the NFL is a disgrace.
  14. Takes forever to load, but it's worth it. Good read: Real Football 365
  15. Is there anyone I missed?
  16. I always liked Kirk Ferentz. I'd take Edwards, but I'm not sure he is going to be available.
  17. Just remember, "It takes 2 to MANGO". I had someone say that to me once. And I was also told that I was a "Ball of laughs." Heard "money in the bag" (that may have been me.) Those things, cliches(?) are hard to remember.
  18. Is football operations below the GM? I'm sure Parcells, Belichek, Coughlin, Cowher, Gibbs, Lewis, Saban all have some title or authority like football operations. Am I wrong?
  19. I thought I remember reading that Haslett and Ralph talk weekly????? Who knows. Maybe if he had control over personnel he could do something.
  20. I must have missed that about Hull, or was it the article about the steroid use. If not him, then who can be the experienced coach this team needs? Ala Parcells, Coughlin, Gibbs, Holmgren, etc......Any chance we could get Gruden?
  21. There is no way he is getting a 5 year extension + control of football operations. I bet he wants the Buffalo job. I would be happy to get him and he'd be good for the city. He has been plagued in New Orleans by crappy management. ESPN
  22. And he stared at Dehaven just daring him to make a comment. I loved it. Even with his manboobs, Parcells is intimidating. A role model for a fellow manboob like myself.
  23. .......and hire Al Saunders as HC. Al Saunders
  24. You don't like it? I thought the Razor looked sweet. I like the phone I got, but I hate that I can never tell when the thing is on.
  25. My wife and I just got the LG VX5200 from Verizon this weekend and there is an annoying thing about it. When you turn it on and it is closed (flip phone) the outside sub lcd only stays lit up momentarily and then goes blank. You can't tell it is on except if you flip it open. My old phone (LG 510) had the clock, siganl strength, and battery level displayed at all times. I programmed the backlight to "always be on" but their is only settings for the main lcd and the keypad. Anyone know if you can set it up like my old LG 510?
