  1. The first sneak is pretty justifiable imo heck I think bill b might’ve done the same thing given Brady/allen’s successful sneak percentages (idk if he’s coaching us in this hypothetical haha) but it felt kind of like we either second guessed the line up and sneak it again without a to or just gave up and played for the onside kick…maybe that’s worse than not knowing what’s going on idk. Either way I’m all for flaming the decision because you’re pretty much obligated to sneak twice without using a to once you do the first one and we didn’t do it you pretty much need to punch that in the end zone on a very early down to have a chance. I’d run my highest probability play there. if it takes three throws to score the td you’re probably killing a lot of time. Those goal to go throws are tough sledding even when you can throw it at/behind the LOS and run it in. People saying Josh could’ve ran it in from a broken passing play don’t make a lot of sense to me because that sucks up a ton of time and if he’s tackled short it’s game over. Getting the td on 1st down rather than 3rd or 4th probably saves you the 10-15 seconds you absolutely need to have a chance. Obviously if you know you’re completing a passing td on first or second down you take that 100% of the time but I think this board is assigning an unrealistically high probability to that happening. The threat of the run is really what sets up those goal line throws which would not have been there. If Josh kills 10 seconds trying to pass then runs it in himself on a wild play you take that if you’re the rams
  2. Refs kinda willed bills rams to probably more points than there should've been for both teams. Bunch of ticky tacky drive extenders and swallowed the whistle on a bunch of pretty obvious ol holds. Rams with the short week after that bills game on the road had a pretty tall order….i think they would’ve blown the niners out under better circumstances
  3. I mean Campbell went brain dead for 30 and the lions gave up 27 unanswered points to end their only playoff run so far 😂. If we’re holding him to this same ‘only the playoffs matter’ standard the jury is definitely still out the year before that they missed the playoffs by 1 game after we pretty much 13 seconds-ed them on thanksgiving. Could definitely go full McDermott with his career haha
  4. They had a good shot at not even needing a long hail mary then purdy blew that throw
  5. Tua gets rid of the ball fast though which is what that offense requires idk that purdy really excels at anything. He seems like he could be replaced pretty easily by a mid round draft pick
  6. Rams defense was 100 times worse than this too to be fair. They really set up the recipe for a shootout letting olinemen hold in some games it seems completely random lol
  7. Some ref crews completely decriminalize holding and it leads to shootouts and two teams being very concerned about their defensive line 🤣 that has not been the case tonight
  8. 49ers don’t seem to be taking away much this drive 😂 so weird coming into this one late I feel like im watching a different game haha
  9. I think the rams only play hard when I’m watching haha I just turned it on this drive.
  10. I feel like every db that has left the team has completely fallen apart haha so I still think it’s true. Bad game last weekend though for sure for a few of them I love the Reddit posts from fans of teams our guys end up on asking ‘wtf is up with this guy he can’t play’ 😂
  11. The bills really do match up well with kc and we beat them pretty consistently. A 3 game sample size one of which aj klein was starting at freakin MLB is way too small to say chiefs magic prevents us from beating them in the playoffs lol We started 1-3 against them and everyone said all the same stuff about the regular season then we went 3-1 since
  12. The Andy Reid ones are especially hard to watch lol no way mcd would do that.
  13. I mean Josh had a 9/30 game this year and he’s likely a first ballot hof-er lol
  14. We had quite a few situations like that where Stafford either threw an absolutely perfectly placed ball or a receiver made a ridiculous play. Don’t see much of that happening tonight
  15. Yea he took a big step back this year in a contract year. Think he probably would’ve lost some snaps this week even if healthy
  16. Seems like we always have a couple great defenders out in areas of not a lot of depth every playoffs. Ironic to be saying it after the rams game haha but it’s feelin like to me that this year we’re not gonna have that excuse so we’ll see what happens. If we get rung up I’ll come around to the negative side more Even Milano im not sure we absolutely needed, in fact I think the last few games he’s significantly hurt the team and probably would’ve been benched if it were the playoffs.
  17. I can see the negative side for sure but I gotta be honest watching all those linebacker injuries down the stretch last year I didn’t think there was a chance in hell we’d hold the chiefs under 30 points and have a chance to win the game. Really don’t think we’re losing that game if we had anyone but aj klein available. Crazy how much the optics shift if that’s the case. We’d be 5-1 against kc in the last 6 with the 1 loss being 13 seconds
  18. I know we all get hung up on mcd playoff stuff but injuries have done him no favors. Feels like the elite defenders on kc never miss a snap and the bills are always missing 3-4 very important players come playoff time. Really couldn’t hurt being cautious with injured players the rest of the regular season
  19. I have never sat down at a bills game in any weather at any time haha
  20. The only time I’d openly root for the lions is if they were playing the chiefs in the Super Bowl
  21. I just don’t trust Goff…he seems to have issues against defenses that are good at disguising coverages presnap which is one of our few strengths lol its a team game but the guy throwing the ball could lose it/win it single handedly
  22. Idk that we’d definitely lose if we got that far haha that was mostly to say I think Philly or Detroit are a little tougher matchup wise than the current AFC field. I still really don’t trust Goff though but he can make me eat those words this week 😂
  23. Idk there were competing stats in this particular one…idk what teams records are when they give up a blocked punt td but they’ve gotta be pretty bad. And a blocked punt td probably should go down as a turnover which would make what I’m assuming 254-0 is referring to not apply. Really was no different than a pick/fumble 6 game flow wise. 13 seconds was definitely really bad but it isn’t unprecedented. we hit a humongous play to walk off fg the lions with very little time remaining last time we met. There were 23 seconds left instead of 13 but the play getting us into ‘used to be good Tyler bass range’ 🤣 only took about 7. Just one specific example but there’s a bunch. The Minneapolis miracle for example was much worse than 13 seconds I wonder if saints fans talk about that one as much as we talk about 13 seconds haha
  24. I doubt the Texans beat the 5 seed but you never know. Yea I think you can make the case for wanting to avoid Baltimore and pit because the bills seem so focused roster construction wise on matching up with the chiefs that those two aren’t good matchups. It doesn’t seem like there’s any way we can avoid Baltimore and pit though anyway so I feel like best scenario is send Baltimore to kc for the divisional and give us the Steelers at home. there’s a chance pit and Baltimore flip flop in the division standings then we get Baltimore round 2 instead of pit. Is that better for us? I’m not entirely sure but it scares me more lol if we fall to the 3 it’s probably the same choice but we’re on the road instead of at home Yea it would be pretty tough to apply any asterisks to this Super Bowl if they won it lol. Last year I think a few teams caught them roster wise but they were freakishly healthy come playoff time injury wise which evened things out. This year I’m not sure that’s gonna be the case
  25. I think that’s pretty debatable either way…I wouldn’t have him there but you could make the case for it too. I think I and maybe the mvp voters too see it as he is good but has benefited greatly from being on a few stacked offenses but we could all be proven wrong the rest of the way for sure lol. this won’t factor into the mvp discussion at all of course but I don’t think there’s any way McVay gives him and a bunch of future assets up for Stafford if he truly saw goff as a top 10 qb talent wise and idk if there’s a guy I trust more to evaluate offensive talent McVay probably saw him as just outside top 10 and just didn’t have the elite traits to finish a playoff run
