  1. Samuel will pick up…he’s proven reliable over a pretty big sample size it’s not like Deonte harty where we were guessing he’d take a leap in productivity. It’s just way too early to dig into anyone’s numbers especially when we were just running out the clock most of the second half in 66% of our wins
  2. tough to tell anything this year as three of their games were bears, colts, jaguars. Last year they had a good run defense but Blake cashman, Sheldon rankins, and Maliek collins left and their DT play has been pretty bad so far jaguars didn’t have any trouble running on them but colts/bears they could just load up against the run
  3. It’ll come down to the trenches as most football games do. Half our games have been against extremely mobile qbs so I’d expect the dline to be better in this one now that contain isn’t as important even without Ed
  4. The bills have this rare ability to lose the two best starters in one position group lol then everyone still uses the ‘every team has injuries’ line. Chiefs would be 0-4 if you took their two best linebackers away. Heck they might be 0-4 if you just took Bolton away
  5. Can’t get the offense right against good teams either usually…really don’t even think he’s an elite offensive mind at this point
  6. The bills seem to be heading for mostly positionless offense and i think it’s hurting people’s brains that are used to the traditional ‘people listed as wrs on the depth chart catch most of the passes’ lol we could’ve thrown for 400 against Jacksonville if we really wanted and the extra yards would probably be evenly split between Kincaid, cook and shakir with a few more catches for Coleman
  7. Half our games were over not long after halftime and we just ran out the clock…we’ve only played 4 🤣. Were basically missing a full game in a four game season of passing stats lol
  8. If we have taron and Bernard back for the chiefs game I don’t really see us losing. Chiefs got a little unlucky seeing us late in the season they definitely would’ve won if we played them around now given our current situation. Niners game could go either way though even with those guys i dont think people can even comprehend how big a deal missing your two best players in one position group is(Milano,Bernard) because we get caught up in this ‘no excuses’ mentality about our own team. If the chiefs were down Bolton and drue tranquil they wouldn’t have won a game. Just getting one of those two back keeps someone deep on your depth chart off the field
  9. People don’t understand that just because something we did went badly doesn’t mean something we could’ve done wouldn’t have gone worse 😂. It’s pretty amusing honestly. Idk who these good linebackers our supposedly stupid coaches refused to play are that everyone is suggesting totally exist haha
  10. My wording was bad on ‘blown coverage type situations’ because I got lazy lol…his td earlier this season was unquestionably blown coverage. His td against the chargers was bad defense imo seemed like miscommunication between the corner and safety to me personally it wasn’t an outright nobody covered him situation though for sure it has nothing to do with him being on the chiefs, his entire season has basically been two splash plays that I don’t think will be sustainable but we’ll see. If he was more consistently making smaller plays rather than two huge chunk plays I’d trust the stats more I would’ve said the same thing about Keon if josh scrambled around on that terrible trick play and actually got Keon the ball there on a huge play…the defense just dropped him so I wouldn’t have read into the big play too much
  11. Reid’s career is also littered with early round wr busts so I guess we’ll see lol. The guy busts on wrs as much as anybody. In fact knowing Reid’s career is what makes me think worthy will probably bust 🤣 my favorite nfl beef is even keeled bill belichick saying notable Andy Reid draft pick Freddie Mitchell ‘is terrible and you can print that’ haha if Reid didn’t botch that pick the eagles likely win that 04 Super Bowl 2 of those worthy plays accounted for 89 yards and 2 TDs on just dreadful defense/blown coverage. That really shouldn’t swing someone objectively looking at worthy’s game in either direction sometimes reids wr hits don’t jump out in the stats department early that much i agree with but watching them on film you could tell they had it. Worthy is below that line imo. There is nothing he has done that mecole hardman couldn’t do
  12. I don’t think the chiefs are anywhere remotely close to the pats dynasty personally…if they weren’t the healthiest team by a wide margin last season they were not winning the superbowl and that luck seems to be evening out this year
  13. It’s kind of tough to gauge…how much of it is running because scared to pass vs running because it’s easy. Since 2019 we’ve been bottom half of the league in rushing yards allowed per game zero times. Last year we were 15th and the year before we were 5th. This year it’s too early to tell there have been a few short stretches of terrible run defense for sure though. I feel like most seasons we have a game or two where the defense gets steamrolled and we all panic haha going back earlier than 2019 we were pretty bad and average but those rosters were pretty terrible
  14. It’s crazy he can play professional football with the left hand injury but probably couldn’t golf right now if he wanted to 🤣
  15. Chargers defense just refused to cover worthy on that play that everyone is overreacting to lol his two statement plays have been busted coverage type situations. I honestly think there’s a real chance the chiefs got absolutely fleeced on that trade…Carter is looking pretty good early
  16. Haha I agree in the complete opposite way if I’m interpreting this post correctly. Coleman looks like the more complete player to me and it’s honestly not particularly close. We’ll see though as worthy is gonna have more opportunities now. Worthy just jaunting past a corner and a safety on a go route is not gonna be there for him the vast majority of the time…I have absolutely no idea what the chargers defense was doing on that play 😂. Coleman made some big time plays in tight coverage during an everything going wrong type of game and had a couple open deep shots if the oline held up a split second longer dewayne Carter who we ended up grabbing from that trade down is lookin pretty good too seems like he immediately phased out Austin Johnson
  17. Idk what the heck happened in the ravens game lol Simon pointed it out that the flat routes were there at times and then I couldn’t unsee it 🤣. seems like josh/brady or maybe both panicked trying to keep pace with the ravens offense and abandoned the shorter stuff that likely would’ve worked and the ravens very much knew we would
  18. Kincaid gets a ton of defensive attention from what I’ve seen…I think we tend to underrate our players that aren’t household names yet (mostly just because they play in Buffalo 😂) but defenses certainly treat him like he’s great he is so good at catching balls in stride and turning something like a 3 yard flat route into a 7 or 8 yard gain too which nobody talks about for whatever reason but it’s huge Most fans don’t care about blocking on running plays which absolutely infuriates me lol if diggs put any effort at all into blocking maybe he’d still be here…the guy was the laziest player when he wasn’t the primary target
  19. Coaching and front office I’d say…idk why they thought they could build around a guy that really can’t read a defense if his first option is taken away. Such a bizarre decision hes got that quick release that they want but the better defenses can force him to hold onto the ball so the whole team philosophy is completely broken
  20. McDaniel is the opposite of Flores which they thought was a good thing at first 😂. Kind of ironic really. If they let Flores finish out that rebuild I bet he’d have that team contending
  21. Idk I’ve seen a lot of valid josh criticisms after this game and ‘he lost a step scrambling’ is not one of them imo. I don’t think it’s Stan culture to call out one specific critique of how he’s been playing lol he definitely bails clean pockets too early when his oline has struggled in the game, he’s probably having issues setting protections, but in a regular season game where your team is getting absolutely manhandled and you have an injured hand it makes absolutely zero sense to take crazy risks scrambling even if it is available. Doesn’t mean he can’t do it when it makes sense to. A lot of these plays were instant pressure from all sides lol I don’t think he’s gonna scramble out of a lot of those
  22. His speed seems so underrated because he had the worst 40 yard dash form of all time haha
  23. Idk who they can add that’s a big impact without a huge trade that will sink them in the future when rice/hollywood brown can play. Rice could miss the next season too though if they tack a suspension on so they might potentially go that route they REALLY need OTs also…the issue for bills/chiefs is when the oline doesn’t show up it exposes the wr talent. I don’t think the needle would’ve moved much dumping an all pro wr on the bills for that ravens game with how bad the offensive line played. And when the oline holds up, you can roll with a bunch of solid role players at wr difference between the two games this week is the chiefs played an absolutely comically injured chargers team so they hung on to that undefeated record. I think they’ve got major issues beyond wr that people aren’t digging into too much since they’re undefeated
  24. Maybe this is more saying the same thing a different way and not disagreeing but I think mcd tried to do what he always does with much worse players in a few very important positions. From a pretty limited sample size of running with a heavier defensive formation it seemed like things could’ve gone even worse if we went that route 😂. Morrow was godawful
  25. Same sort of deal on the offensive side too…Baltimore didn’t really do anything complicated up front but they won a high percentage of 1v1 pass rushing matchups. Limiting separation is easy when you’re getting to the qb because your guys don’t have to cover long. Prime diggs got shut down all the time in that scenario. There wasn’t much of a ‘secret formula’ that Baltimore employed that other teams now can replicate. we also got a big panicky with the playcalling seeing the defense not able to slow them down too and abandoned the run a bit early imo. When we were actually running the ball we ran it as well as anyone has against that Baltimore defense.
