I don’t think a single other coach in the league would’ve thrown there tonight especially if they had the eagles prowess on 4th and short. Everyone else is burning that time off the clock if that’s a 3rd and long, yea sure maybe you throw there.

Ridiculous decision to pass there…we had a similar ish situation against the giants last year but I think there was a lot more time on the clock, the giants had one timeout, the fg should’ve put us up 8, and it was a 3rd and 9 so not really that similar now that I typed all that 😂

I don’t think a big chunk of them are free play type penalties…I really want to look into this and review them all myself but I’m not sure how to approach it haha. There have been quite a few where the refs throw the flag super late like that jets pick last year. They could make it a lot less suspicious-seeming if they threw the flag when the supposed contact happened, but with mahomes for whatever reason the flags seem to come out post pick far too often the refs seem really impressionable to mahomes’ whining

They mugged Hendrickson all game…if they called oline penalties even just like 10% closer the chiefs would’ve gotten absolutely demolished...the game wouldn’t have even been close and probably would’ve resembled the bucs chiefs Super Bowl. That’s really how much control refs have over a game the pi to close out the game was a fine call. The offensive Offside on the chiefs against the bills was 100% the correct call as well the chiefs did not resemble anything close to the vintage Brady pats ‘you have to play perfect to beat us’ this weekend…they were kind of a mess. Bengals win that game with a fumble six on the resume if the db does nothing on that 4th down play

Yea they’re not really obligated to try to keep him happy and he has to play nice since he’s hitting free agency again soon. I really think he cost himself a lot of money if he actually did force this trade, I don’t think he’ll outperform his averages from even the second half of last season

I mean we’re holding the whole team to this ‘only the playoffs matter’ standard, if that applies to diggs what did he really do for us? He had a nice playoff run in 2020 but since then hasn’t done much of anything. Complete no show in both those recent close losses to kc. I wouldn’t have much of a problem with that production if he had a team first attitude but that very much does not seem to be the case. He’s out there trying to make it sound like everyone failed him

I truly think Diggs thought he would come in and grab a ton of catches as wr2 with collins drawing all the defensive attention but it doesn’t seem to be playing out that way at all. i don’t think he has it to even reliably shake single coverage by a decent slot corner/cb2 anymore. He doesn’t even look like a top wr2 to me

They should’ve lost that game single handedly because of that LT…there was a pretty egregious hold on nearly every play lol

I was coming here to say this haha I’m a big sweatshirt in any weather guy and think he’s a really interesting guy in a good way. I don’t think he’s a very good coach though

They picked on aj klein pretty much the whole game against us…it’s honestly pretty crazy that game was as close as it was with such a huge liability on the field. I figured they’d blow us out when I was watching everyone get injured in the Steelers game the week before 🤣 obviously you’ve gotta figure out how to win with the guys you have available but I really doubt the chiefs win that one if we had one more decent linebacker available

They’re disproportionately bad at running the ball against it too so the short passes are pretty much the only option

My favorite part of that ordeal was people saying things like ‘I travel overseas for business and I’m not that tired’ like their desk job is similar to playing a professional sport at the highest possible level 🤣
