Random talking head says something about the Bills
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Canty is ex giant Chris Canty…evan cohen is just a long time radio guy. Michelle I have no idea lol I’m starting to get more annoyed by the ‘mahomes is in a tier of his own’ talk now lol. The guy hasn’t been 2018-2021 mvp level mahomes for a pretty long time now and it’s obvious -
Ravens at 1 with that playoff ineptitude they’ve shown for years now is a joke imo…maybe they prove me wrong in the next couple years but as it stands they’re feeling pretty close to Miami to me in that something is seriously wrong with the composition of that team preventing them from competing well when it matters eagles seem pretty overrated too. I’d probably slide the rams and bills up a few spots if it was me. Rams absolutely sold out to win that Super Bowl and seemed primed to enter another period of irrelevance but they’re right back in the mix again

I love when these guys pick against us because they’ve been hypin our opponent up for weeks,we win, and then they’re like ehhh not a quality win the opponent wasn’t good 😂 One team being ‘hungrier’ has gotta be the most overblown thing in sports lol especially football where there’s so few games that every one is crazy important for every team -
Easily is a little bit of a stretch… would’ve had to get their feet in on that catch against the chiefs, convert the two point conversion, and not blow it against the raiders. Heck of a lot closer to 0-3 than 3-0. the much more important game thing is bollocks imo…the 1 seed is insanely important and the jets are lookin good enough to push us for the division.. every conference game is extremely important

Yea idk what you’re supposed to do with aj klein against the chiefs lol. Not sure any dc/hc is pullin that situation off -

I’d say December/early January champs lol we’ve lost too many season openers recently to be September champs -
The afc west is so flippin weird…chargers look good then they’re bad, broncos look awful then they’re good lol hard to tell if anyone could steal one from the chiefs at this point. Chiefs haven’t felt like they’re in their own tier to me as of late so I have a little bit of trouble handing them guaranteed wins…if they weren’t considerably healthier than the majority of their playoff opponents last year I don’t think they’re pulling off that Super Bowl run. I swear they’ve got voodoo dolls or something Dre greenlaw tearing his Achilles just walking onto the field was crazy 😁 then kittle tore his shoulder

Dolphins are pretty complicated…we were beating them with or without tua finishing out the game and the fact that tua is out an extended period is burying them in these rankings. I think the cardinals are getting underrated pretty heavily also…close losses to bills and lions and beat the pants off the rams…that’s a pretty tough opening schedule. Man idk…this is gonna be weird responding pretty similarly to two different posts lol but I think the dolphins with tua (we were winning that game if tua finished it regardless) are a 9 or 10 win team and I think the cardinals are gonna shake out to be a pretty good team too. The sample size is just too small to look at opponent win-loss. Cardinals have had a bit of a meatgrinder schedule early with three playoff teams from last year. close losses to Buffalo and Detroit and an absolute dismantling of the rams. I think our wins are getting diminished for whatever reason…the jags look pretty bad I’ll give the talking heads that one lol

Buffalo Bills: Elite early season team, year after year

We lost the opener two years ago and only lost two games the rest of the regular season lol last year not only were we pretty beat up on the defensive side but the chiefs were freakishly uninjured for the playoffs…everything always seems to go their way it’s ridiculous edit nope I’m an idiot we lost the opener last year and three years ago 😁 time flies -
Might have to come out of betting retirement for this one….don’t think the ravens defense is quite what it used to be and if they’re missing some olinemen it’s an uphill battle

As an example of it not being a death sentence? I might hold off on that until the end of this season lol -

The defense got nuked by injuries in London then when Douglas got acclimated at corner we righted the ship. We had one of the worst defenses in the league for a stretch there I know people say it’s just an excuse but we really get boned with defensive injuries for the playoffs year in and year out. I don’t think the chiefs are in their own tier anymore but they were the healthiest team in the playoffs last year by a wide margin -
that really seems to be how it goes…the qbs from big time programs have pass catchers that are just so physically talented that they don’t have to work too hard

That’s a lot of restraint talking about someone who tweeted ‘you sure’ in response to claims Allen would be fine without Diggs -

Honestly not a bad idea…a coordinator getting a head coaching job of a bad franchise is almost always a career death sentence so he may not want to take the risk -

Honestly it’s getting ridiculous…i don’t understand how McDaniel doesn’t get torched by the media. The guy cannot beat a good team and it’s not like they’re losing shootouts consistently. Frequently their offense looks completely anemic against good teams -
I don’t even think he’s a good play caller lol anyone can call plays when you have huge physical mismatches all over the field against bad defenses. That offense routinely doesn’t show up against good opponents though which is a pretty obvious sign that there’s big time coaching/scheme issues if they were losing shootouts to the KC,BUF,BAL,CIN,SF type teams I’d give McDaniel a little more credit but that is usually not what happens I don’t think he’s making it to 2028, he couldn’t even beat good teams when his team was at its peak and they’re headed for cap hell and haven’t had a lot of early draft picks to replace guys. They’ve been propped up by always beating bad teams but I think we’re gonna start to see them lose some of those types of games
-
Not a clown show but they are a completely different offense against good opponents which makes them overrated I’d say. They ended up losing that game you’re talking about because they were shut out in the second half. They forced 3 turnovers and lost the game 21-14 i think they’ve scored over 21 points against an eventual playoff team 3 times in mcdaniel’s tenure and have a record of like 3-13 against those teams with two of those wins coming in back to back weeks early in 2022 before there was a lot of film on them. All three of those wins were extremely close games. they have never once gone out there and won comfortably against a playoff team so who cares that they can drop 70 on the broncos
-
I think he’s talking about limited in variety of what they can do to you. Teams that can disrupt the timing on those quick throws don’t really have any trouble with that offense that has so much of a cap investment. Seems like they very rarely cracked 20 points against winning teams which just isn’t good enough when your strength is offense…doesn’t even matter that they’re dropping 50+ against terrible teams
-
They blew the whole rebuild on that Bradley chubb trade imo…then really jumped the shark on the tua extension really haven’t outperformed what Flores was able to accomplish by much and Flores still had a ton of draft capital to spend when he was fired
