  1. Matchup wise this game feels like a slam dunk which instantly makes me nervous cuz any time I feel like I know what’s gonna happen the opposite happens 😂
  2. They all got pancaked instantly too haha I don’t think any of them were even really standing when Lamar got that pass off 😂
  3. Kinda surprised by both the jets wanting him and him wanting the jets lol. Really thought this would fall through. the guy wants to promote mark brunell to probably develop a qb not on the roster yet? Yikes
  4. Well yea 15-14 with us running 5 times in a row during the goal line sequence and once to close out the game. Every other series of downs was virtually 2 passes and a run idk what you think you’re gonna do in the passing game if you can’t ‘overcome’ a 1-2 yard run with two passing plays lol that’s a pretty standard nfl situation. the two failed drives leading to quick punts were: #1) 1 yard run then back to back incompletions #2) pass-pass-pass-run-pass-pass (weird screen audible) Long field goal drive was a little more even but we broke multiple good runs. When we got bogged down it was back to back incompletions on 2nd and 8 there were virtually as many stuffed runs as 5+ yard runs in the second half, and quite a few of the 1-2 yard gain type runs had some execution problems much like the pass to Kincaid and strange te screen audible had execution problems. Not sure if the ravens baited josh into that one but it looked like Knox couldve cut it outside and didn’t
  5. The guy that had a historic season of not turning the ball over haha nice
  6. I think they mistakenly believe they’re gonna win certain 1 on 1 matchups on the dline so there’s no way what the bills are doing to these other teams can happen to them then it happens to them lol. The ravens looked really caught off guard by it as well. Some execution issues late on our part in the running game saved them from getting run right out of the building imo. we make a big deal about ‘oh this scheme was bad that playcall was bad’ but at the end of the day sometimes your guys just get beat by who they’re lined up against
  7. People definitely forget Flacco was really good that year and was an absolute monster in the playoffs for sure…whenever I hear that ravens superbowl talked about its ’they didn’t even have a qb’
  8. Seems kind of crazy but those advanced espn metrics have ed just outside the top 10 in DT pass rush win rate and 9th overall in run stop win rate lol. Idk if I believe that but he looked good to me last week which is a good sign they’ve got the bills dline at 6th in pass rush win rate and 5th in run stop win rate overall somehow 😂 Who’s the all pro tackle? Thuney is an amazing guard but he’s an ok tackle. Or do you just mean in general terms haha
  9. I feel like the issue with the bills usually is they don’t have an elite pass rusher that is gonna cause problems for even the best olinemen in the league. They’ve got quite a few solid-really good ones though that can win consistently with a good matchup and there should be good matchups out there
  10. I’ve got a feeling he ain’t signing…seems kinda like a ‘make the real team I’m interested in more desperate’ move. Jets might end up with some coach you’d love for them even more still haha
  11. I feel like they go on sale a lot earlier than that and you get a refund if the game doesn’t happen.
  12. Outside of the goal line sequence there were more passes than runs in the second half by my count.it was actually less balanced than we’ve been in prior games in favor of the pass lol. our rush offense vs their rush defense was strength on strength, their secondary held up really well in pass coverage all night long and they tackled their a** off on the underneath stuff which let them stay in two high a lot. Giving up on the run would’ve been a mistake imo and there were quite a few run plays where we could’ve executed a lot better in the second half It’s seeming to get lost in the discourse also but we only had 4 drives in the second half (not counting the game sealer) and two of those were killed by a pretty ill fated TE screen audible and a drop/potential slip? for Kincaid. It was more self inflicted mistakes killing drives than playcalling imo whether the playcall was a run or pass. also to comment on the number 1 rush defense talk, they were also number 2 in sacks (Denver was 1 who we met the week before) and one of the best pass defenses in the league since shuffling some players around in the middle of the season. To me, the bills made improving the rushing offense a point of emphasis to win this exact style of playoff game where dbs are getting away with holds both ways and there’s not much available to you in the passing game. Trying to throw the ball all over the field in the second half easily could’ve gone worse with how the ravens were playing.
  13. Yea I’m a bit puzzled by the objections to it lol. That was your classic ‘hold all their receivers’ type playoff defense with pretty bad field conditions sprinkled on top of it that we would’ve really struggled against in the past and we invested in the run game for literally that exact situation in the ‘wow look at Josh throw the ball all game’ days even throwing prime diggs and prime Beasley back in there Baltimore would’ve played two high all game and easily stopped the run while limiting the pass.
  14. I’m thinking he was just completely gassed and didn’t want to be a liability on the last few plays. Seems like a coach wouldn’t want to make that public if true. I could def be wrong though it’s just a wild guess lol
  15. Has brown looked 100%? I haven’t seen enough of him to be able to tell
  16. Seems like we surprised the two best run defenses in a row with how successful we were running the ball on them. KC is gonna have to find a way to slow it down they bounced back pretty well the second half of the playoff game last year on defense but I think we’ve improved since then
  17. Yes that is a very impressive regular season resume, you will find no argument here about that. but his playoff legacy is 0 tds and a ball clanking off him for an INT in the titans game and getting a ball punched out this year as well as a bunch of drops over the course of his 8 playoff games.. he’s every bit of ‘completely different player come playoff time’ as Lamar is if not more so
  18. Idk that it makes a massive difference but I haven’t seen it mentioned here yet (maybe I missed it lol) Kincaid only played in 13 games this year regular season…seems worth noting
  19. Dalton Kincaid was drafted last year and already has more playoff tds than Andrews and only 150 less receiving yards to be fair. It ain’t one rough game for andrews in the playoffs, he’s mostly a nonfactor Andrews played a pivotal role in the ravens blowing their divisional game as the 1 seed a few years ago too
  20. We did essentially ‘13 seconds’ them in 2022 I’ve head that puts you on the naughty list 😂
  21. He’s the 6th ranked TE in PFF 😂 figured sharing that fact would really spice up the debate lol
  22. They don’t…sometimes it takes that long to come up with a good counterpunch though and I really don’t think Lamar was prepared for the extra linebacker and all the blitzes. I really don’t believe Harbaugh had a good week of preparation or a particularly good night of gameday coaching. He got there eventually but it took way too long
  23. IF we win I don’t think it’ll be that close which feels weird to say lol. A win likely means we dominated in the trenches which seems to be how I’m seeing the game matchup wise but I could absolutely be wrong 😂 if we can’t do that mahomes/kelce will absolutely pull something out of their butt and win the game lol
  24. Yea idk…this feels like a game the bills will be able to run and stop the run. KCs big impact playmakers seem to skew more to slowing down the passing game whether it be pass coverage or Chris jones rushing the passer and they have to be able to stop the run to give those guys a chance to make plays. the bills were running effectively on two teams that really nobody runs on to the point where Sean Payton pretty much admitted ‘yo I don’t understand how that happened’ in his press conference haha and kc has looked a little bit leaky in their rush defense as of late some of those late runs that got bottled up by Baltimore were there we just had a few execution errors. I think when people see a run fail they assume it was a bad call but a handful of them down the stretch weren’t.. and on top of all that, outside of the goal line sequence passes outnumbered runs pretty significantly in that second half and quite a few times josh looked to push it deep but ended up settling for a check down that went for a decent gain and kept everything on schedule
  25. Brown,Milano,Kincaid, and Coleman were out
