Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they think they’re a wr away and it’s the type of guy they would’ve picked up in the offseason via free agency anyway I could definitely see beane making a wr move. he’s gotta be kickin himself not beating out the rams in the von trade in 2021. Yea you give up future assets but in hindsight that’s probably a Super Bowl win if he pulled the trigger. Von was a beast in the playoffs that year and was great for us up until that fateful knee injury I think we’re probably a big-ish splash wr away but idk that beane does. Mild reshuffling on the oline and a few new faces at skill positions could cause a slower than usual start and the defense could be good/great when taron returns is my logic there’s too many defensive players stepping up to not roll the dice on a deal you like at wr -
That’s the crazy part, they’re pretty much built to win now and they fire their coach midseason in one of the few years Aaron probably has left.

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like that’s usually what happens lol. Raiders have to be pretty upset the way the last week went down, jets are a complete unknown now and saints losing Carr could effect their interest -
I really don’t think it’s as big of an upgrade as y’all are insinuating. Whether he was mentally checked out or physically checked out or what the dude was mostly getting locked up like our no name wrs are this year down the stretch of last season without it taking a ton of defensive attention. It was frequently happening in the playoffs too even in his prime that’s likely the main basis of beane eating the cap this year to get his wr1 contract off the books that was gonna turn into a bad one. I really don’t understand the trade from the Texans side so far (of course there’s a ton of season left though). Seems like diggs is just cannibalizing tank dell’s targets. If he was still who y’all say he is, playing opposite Nico collins who is outstanding should be getting him an insane amount of opportunities

Hire Saleh as defensive coordinator IMMEDIATELY
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because he doesn’t fire himself 🤣 -
They might need a true wr1 that can make tough contested catches down the sideline and has some speed but Diggs is not quite that anymore imo. He’s a good wr2 talent wise collins went down and it is honestly pretty crazy no pass catcher on that Texans roster really stepped up to fill the void a bit more going against the likes of cam lewis and a rookie safety that missed time in training camp making his first start, and damar Hamlin prime Diggs would’ve ROASTED there but it seems like things got pretty tough for them.

Rookie WR Separation win-rates thru week 5
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
No idea how this stat is measured ultimately but rewatching some games he does get held a few times where it looks like he had his guy beat and had that flat drop while open so there’s been instances of beating his man and it doesn’t go down as a catch and/or target -
I think it has more to do with the style of game and we just happened to have two in a row this way (possibly more coming lol we shall see). Games that go down this way he definitely has always gotten happy feet. i do think the roll out right to buy time is somewhat of a practiced situation though where guys know what to do once josh does it but he might rely on it a little too much in these style of games though

I don’t think he’s as bad as the diva allegations claim but he’s certainly not what you’re explaining either 😂.

Allen looks.. off this year.
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
He seemed to be sliding more towards the tail end of last year too I don’t think this has a been in response to his hand/this season. Even the ‘hurdling in from 10 yards out’ play didn’t seem particularly high risk…the defender went extremely low -

Generic_Bills_Fan replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like we’ve been running into eachother on these Josh posts often enough where this doesn’t need a super long response haha so for this one I’m gonna stick to…that week 1 play really wasn’t a hurdle at all or even that dangerous of a play….it was more of a sidestep than anything. He’s clearly been protecting himself better this year and people are starting to complain he’s possibly protecting himself too much it seems 🤣 -
The next 5 games are very winnable.
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
His defense is dragging the lifeless husk of Patrick mahomes around 🤣. Of course you’re not looking at number/stats or giving it the eye test haha because that would make you objectively wrong. my original comment was ‘do people think mahomes is consistent this year’ So you get caught up in niche Allen stats from an individual game this year like completion percentage when attempting x number of throws but will not even check on what mahomes has been doing at all 😂. Got it! Makes perfect sense -

Generic_Bills_Fan replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because must be as negative as possible after a loss 🤣. Mahomes has looked very ordinary this year and excuses aren’t allowed when talking about bills players but the same exact statement can be made to prove non bills players are superior lol -

I think finally for once mahomes and Allen’s respective situations are converging and it will be the cleanest comparison year we probably will ever have between the two and the results haven’t really supported your conclusion so far. We shall see though for sure.. when mahomes isn’t getting elite oline play and isn’t stocked with explosive wrs, he doesn’t look next level like you are explaining. He has made plenty of boneheaded mistakes this year, looks lost at times, and so on. -
The next 5 games are very winnable.

And when he doesn’t which has been the majority of their games this year he’s been kind of a mess lol -
Week 6 - Bills at Jets Game Week Thread
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because the overly negative posters that lurk the gameday threads have stayed a few extra days this week 😂. I think without all this craziness happening to the jets they had a real shot at beating us and now it’s more of a distant chance -

Do people think mahomes has been consistent this year? -
You are struggling mightily with reading comprehension haha this is about how yards are meaningless if you’re not turning them into tds because that one loss to the dolphins we had a buttload of yards and couldn’t convert in the redzone. Its literally proof of the opposite of what you’re trying to say 😂 if McDermott secretly hates points you think he’s just gonna volunteer that to the media? lol this is insane
-
No lol the CONCERN is what he’s talking about to which the answer was yes and no…it has nothing to do with preseason specifically. His level of concern isn’t high because self inflicted mistakes were keeping points off the board and he thinks they’ll clean it up the question was not DO YOU WANT TO SCORE MORE POINTS to which he answered yes and no like you are painting it 😂. Really thought you were being at least somewhat sarcastic but I guess not haha
-
You are reaching badly on this one but I think you know that 😂. The question was are you concerned your offense hasn’t scored more points in the preseason and the answer was well yea we want more points obviously and I think if we stop making dumba** self inflicted mistakes we’ll score my points unquestionably he means he’s not overly concerned because they can clean things up and score more points. There is literally no other valid interpretation
-
I don’t trust ml football a whole lot but I wouldn’t be shocked…maybe if I saw it on sny which is what they’re citing I’d believe it more though Yea it feels like they’re giving up on the season but they really shouldn’t be.

This is my cue to provide the daily reminder that due to blowouts in either direction we are nearly missing an entire game of offensive production in a 5 game season if you’re looking at stats like total targets and stuff also watching games like the chiefs game last night seems to give people this false notion that receivers get open way more than they actually do. If you look at those win rates the highest ones are in the high 20s…that means 70% of the time they’re not winning. and the next question is, 15% of what? A team that runs the ball more there’s gonna be less total routes run so that factors in when you’re comparing it to per game targets im also not really sure how they handle situations where Keon wins but josh is under pressure and can’t feasibly get him the ball, id assume that counts as a win still so there’s a bunch that factors into it
