Slowing down enough to slide without taking a hit is pretty tough when you’re running full speed…he hasn’t physically lost anything lol he’s just picking his spots better for the most part to avoid taking hits on plays like what you’re describing with a late slide the defender is very likely getting a big free shot in where Josh can’t really protect himself so the slide comes earlier than it seems like it has to I really think this is a good thing and the hand injury in week 1 finally got through to him. With huge games on the line you’ll still see vintage Josh like his big time run at the end of the game

I’m pretty unimpressed still…the guy had a chance to be the feature wr before they brought in Hopkins and pretty much failed the test. It felt like the bills played a lot more man than usual and no way they’re able to do that if worthy was any kind of serious threat especially with Hamlin in one of the safety spots since he’s not the fastest guy worthy was mostly just the beneficiary of the bills defense focusing on other guys and was pretty easily taken out of the game when we adjusted.

Completely independent of the bills I really don’t know if the chiefs are gonna pull off the divisional round win if we end up the 2 seed and they’re the 1 so it’s hypothetical in both directions lol that chiefs Steelers Christmas game should be really interesting. Coin toss win over an ok bucs team followed by that walk off blocked fg win against Denver followed by getting outplayed by a pretty banged up bills team is not feelin the same to me as years past for them but you never know. Really felt like the bills left a good amount of points on the field in this one and only briefly trailed by the smallest possible amount

They were the healthiest team by a long shot in the playoffs and it showed. Perfect timing because they were suddenly not a tier above the competition anymore lol having to play wildcard weekend didn’t even affect them much because that dolphins defense was so comically injured that there was no way they were losing that game. Their path to the afc championship was kind of ridiculous I don’t think the bills and dolphins combined could’ve fielded a good defense with all those injuries

They really lucked out with that onslaught of linebacker injuries for the bills down the stretch last year or they would very likely be 1-5 against the bills since their afc championship win with the only win being that freak 13 seconds occurrence. The story is just the bills won’t ever win the playoff game now though 🤣. Like the chiefs don’t take these ridiculously important afc matchups seriously in the regular season or something. you can maybe sell me on them overlooking the raiders or something like that but they’re not phoning it in in games against the bills and ravens in the regular season lol there’s just no way

That Texans game cooled some of the lions hype for me…Goff looked like an absolute potato. They didn’t look particularly great on offense against GB recently either not that they really had to but Detroit does basically everything they can to run up the score so it’s worth mentioning. I think this is a situation where they’re great but still somehow overrated. Reminds me of a better version of last years dolphins where all their real damage is done blowing out bad teams and they look like a good football team and not some unbelievable world beater against the better teams in the league I think that ravens offense with their bunch of threats at tight end and qb that can run on top of Derrick Henry was a tougher matchup for us. If we weren’t comically injured in that one that’s probably a one score loss

I think we’d drop 50 on them this year but they are gonna avoid us by missing the playoffs luckily for them 🤣. They remind me of the jets a bit where people hype them up because they’ve got all these offensive weapons and their defensive is good historically but in reality this season the defense is actually dogsh*t lol

Living off that aka not winning a Super Bowl lol if lost Superbowls were worth anything the bills would be in great shape there 🤣 if the bengals finished the job I’m all for hypin them up for sneaking past the chiefs in the playoffs but they didn’t

I’ve been saying that for a couple weeks now let’s see if I’m right 😂. I really think the cardinals are the better team and the dolphins won’t be an easy out and they’re got Buffalo and Detroit too

The media in their never ending quest to hype up the jets and dolphins lol. The national media seems to never really know what’s going on with Buffalo. For example they probably saw Gabe Davis and Poyer/Hyde leaving as huge losses but none of those guys were great last year What’s gonna happen if the bills are in the afc championship and the chiefs don’t make it that far 🤣 that’s definitely seeming possible.. and a team like the bengals who have beaten mahomes in the playoffs is likely not even gonna make it to the playoffs this year…does that make them better than the chiefs still? Lol

His offensive weapons have dwindled a bunch over time due to parity(and age in kelces case). The chiefs of a couple years ago would’ve dropped 50+ on a bills defense starting very late stage aj klein at pretty much the most important position on the field. Idk why people are intent on claiming this is the same mahomes/chiefs offense of 2020 just because they won the superbowl last year. They haven’t been that over a big sample size. idk that we got his best shot but the rematch will likely be even tougher for them because we’re getting a lot of important pieces back and they arent. The Chiefs are kind of paying the piper for being the healthiest team in the playoffs last year…the universe is balancing it out. The last two-three regular season games are a lot better indicator of where these teams are at than the playoff game with aj klein imo. To each their own though you’re certainly entitled to your opinion if you took Bolton off the chiefs and subbed in aj Klein we would’ve absolutely demolished them in that game

Not even full health but getting knocked down the depth chart so far that aj klein has to cancel a family vacation is wild and was hugely consequential lol I mean if aj klein was getting victimized at mlb in this one the chiefs offense would’ve looked like it did in the playoffs last year. I don’t think people really understand what a crazy situation that was. Everyone complains about Hamlin not being starter caliber but Klein is probably 10 times further from being an nfl starter 😂. Its honestly kind of embarrassing on the chiefs part that that game was even close

Na they won’t give it to Goff without some crazy historical season imo everyone knows who he is…he’s a pretty good qb in a ridiculously good situation. Idk whether it’s fair or not but I really think they’ll try to give it to josh if he’s in the neighborhood of it. He’s kind of ‘due’ past seasons shouldn’t effect it but I’m sure they do

Nah Goff is mostly seen as a pretty decent qb on a loaded offense. He’d have to do a ton more than everybody else to win it. Goff is wayyyy behind in the betting odds and has never really been that close recently the bills were supposed to take a step back this year and haven’t which seems to be weighing pretty heavily. I think Lamar would be out in front if he didn’t win it questionably recently

Guarantee you the league HQ for a professional sports league making a hilarious amount of money didn’t even have a few of these replay angles 🤣 there’s no chance that’s not overturned after seeing a couple of those and at the bare minimum they would’ve taken a long look at it

They probably won’t be able to rest starters in week 18 at the bare minimum at least

I really don’t think we’re seeing them in the playoffs if we’re the 1 or 2 seed honestly. Still a lot of time but the chiefs are trending downwards at an inopportune time. If Cam Lewis can shut down Kelce without much help alarm bells should definitely be going off in kc. if we slip to the 3 seed then there’s a very good chance we run into them though. The afc playoff picture is just about set this early and I think kc will have a lot of trouble with any of those teams

Looked like the defender was so lost trying to catch up on the play that it didn’t even matter he collided with Mack. I don’t think anyone’s getting that call in todays nfl.. chiefs got away with plenty picks as bad or worse than this Mack was just running his route and romo is getting awfully close to chiefs homer trying to sell that as opi when he knows better if that’s opi defenders will just start intentionally running into receivers when they’re beat haha
