  1. I really think Josh audibled into a run on that third down but I’m not 100% sure
  2. I really think if we didn’t lose 2 yards on third we would’ve gone for that
  3. Kinda bull#### they have to wait for the ravens to come back tbh 😂 should’ve been a free td with no defense lol
  4. They’ve had some solid returns all night…that’s probably the only thing going well lol
  5. I’m retroactively getting madder Lamar got away with that facemask…should’ve knocked them out of fg range on the first drive
  6. 4th and 5…no way to get much spacing either because you’re so tight to the goal line and that’s been the big issue anywhere on the field. I’d put the odds of converting there in the single digit percent.
  7. Oh I’d agree with you normally but there was absolutely no shot they were converting that 4th and 5 that close to the end zone the way this game is going lol the 4th and 2 or 3 earlier in the game there was a better chance…I might’ve gone for that one
  8. Game was over on the 95% chance we got stopped on that 4th and 5 lol fg there was probably the right call.
  9. Does bosa not see Lamar much historically? I feel like our DEs have always set the edge well at least against Baltimore but he seems lost
  10. I feel like they’re one of the best rosters in recent nfl history and there’s a shot they’re the best.. they just haven’t figured out the offense in the playoffs
  11. Ravens can’t even beat the team that can’t beat the chiefs in the playoffs haha but eagles are a fair point
  12. I’m sure that’s a work in progress tbh…no way he’s ready for that yet though
  13. 4th and 1 and I think they might’ve
  14. Yea that’s pretty subtle but looked like an offensive facemask to me…def grabbed the bar and twisted
  15. Has there ever been a long fg missed against the bills 😂
  16. Mann idk…Doug Whaley was probably the worst nfl mind in the league 2013-2016 then we think he was the main factor in bringing in those three impact dbs and it wasn’t mostly McDermott? That is a scaldingly hot take im almost certain Whaley was a lame duck in that draft/free agency period and pegula wanted to keep it under wraps so prospective gms didn’t think they were walking into some kind of power struggle I feel like if Hairston and bishop don’t work out then yea lets have that discussion you were going for. Seems a bit premature though. Mcd has developed some great dbs and has had some minimal talent depth guys step in and play pretty solid when needed
  17. Feels like we played a ton more man in the playoffs last year but I’m going from memory. Really looked a lot different than bills chiefs games of playoffs past to my eye
  18. They had zero inability to find talent until very recently…veach was money for a long time. The effects don’t really show up instantly especially when you have monsters like Chris jones maskin a lot of your issues. Those guys eventually start to slow down though and then the cracks start to show. Worthy had a good game against us I’d say. kinda disappeared in the second half when things tightened up though and that 30 ish yard catch getting upheld was absolutely criminal lol. Realistically he had a 5 catch 60 yard with a td type game where most of that was in the first half Same thing happened against us in the regular season where he kinda vanished in the second half. Only showed up for the less important half against Philly also. I think he could develop into a great player I just don’t think he’s as close to it yet as most of the internet thinks he is and I still think if they traded up a little further for a guard they’d be back to pretty much unstoppable on offense. Worthy is good but not giving them value like that yet im not saying the chiefs can’t win anyway if mahomes plays absolutely out of his mind…but this is approaching straight up gaslighting that people are implying the chiefs don’t have clear flaws from a pretty bad run of recent drafting just because they’ve been making superbowls still 😂.
  19. There really is no point because mcd had a huge influence on those signings/picks lol. You think Whaley was running the show by himself and just randomly got fired the day after the draft 😂? If these guys were brought in in 2016 then sure give mcd no credit but that’s not the case at all
  20. I really think they should’ve traded up for fautanu in 2024…the worthy pick is still so odd to me but it could work out in the aggregate if he’s great. It almost feels like Suamataia wasn’t their guy but they got stuck with him at their real position of need thinking someone else would be available…he was such a project type guy and there was a good chance he didn’t work out. They haven’t really been hitting on their picks to shore up the trenches on either side of the ball and it’s starting to show. Simmons looked pretty good though but it took them like 3 early OL draft picks and a couple free agents to find him which is tough when parity is kickin your ass haha defensive side they double dipped on Karlaftis early in 2022 and FAU early in 2023, karlaftis seems ok but FAU is lookin like a bust and I don’t think they’ve gotten nearly the return on investment they expected with those two picks if they somehow got Fautanu in 2023 and paired him with Simmons in 2024 they’d be so dangerous right now imo. It would take worthy being really really good to get them ahead of that hypothetical lineup of course they’d have to had given up some more assets in the trade up
  21. I feel like I’m takin crazy pills on this one haha I’m not in the ‘chiefs are done’ camp at all but a divisional loss to a playoff caliber team playing an easier schedule than you is very consequential.. a loss to an nfc opponent in week 1 is way less consequential Yea they’ve only lost convincingly a few times in the playoffs but their margin of victory has been razor thin too. Them losing rest weeks/their opponents getting more because the chiefs are getting tied up in a divisional race down the stretch and are potentially losing a position or two in the seeding could’ve flipped some of those close wins into close losses even the year they were the 3 seed and won the superbowl on the road most of the way they got rest in week 18 and could afford to give some banged up players time off because their division was such a joke. the bills weren’t the 1 seed either and lost a ton of guys in the wildcard game. It feels like people have adopted this ‘seeding/the regular season doesn’t matter cuz the chiefs won a superbowl as the 3 seed one time’ style of thinking and I don’t really agree with it personally. They could certainly win it in spite of all that but everything gets much tougher
  22. The run blocking has been dreadful lately though…feels like they get so many favorable looks to run on and just can’t capitalize i think Pacheco was about equally as ineffective as Kareem hunt last year but it could’ve been injury recovery related
  23. No shot we lose if benford stayed healthy. It’s the same story every year against kc in the playoffs…I think we’ve been missing one of our best if not our best defensive player the last three playoff matchups against them. I get the whole ‘you’ve gotta find a way to win anyway’ argument but it’s just so disheartening. Last year no benford or rapp (two worst positions for us to lose guys that year), matchup before that entire linebacker room is devastated and aj klein comes in off the street to START, time before that no Tre White but they ended up losing Mathieu also so it turned into a wild shootout. really need Denver or lac to step up so they can’t rest guys that are a little banged up and coast to a division win…they’ve been freakishly healthy the last two playoff games against us
