It’s so bizarre…like we all saw the mostly healthy bills defense hold the lions in check then injuries/killing clock opened the floodgates a little. the rams game we were healthy and the rams did whatever they wanted all game. It ain’t the same
-
Even if you don’t like mcd that was a mcd proof situation. Trying to make that sound like there was still a good chance the lions win in that situation is straight up insanity
-
I can’t understand this ‘came down to an onside kick’ thing for the life of me. There were 12 seconds left in the game if lions recovered. Pretty much needed a 13 seconds level miracle (with one less timeout) and an onside recovery miracle back to back. Really probably more unlikely than 13 seconds even if they recover. Better field position but needed a td. Only thing making it FEEL close is people being sensitive to past trauma/overly emotionally invested watching their own team play.

They’re starting to feel like that first superbowl run chiefs team where the offense is lights out and defense is pretty solid and can get a few stops to win
-
Ben Johnson?? Ben Johnson?? LOL

Felt like babich was a step ahead before the defense got nuked with injuries. I don’t love babich or hate him as much as other people here 😂 but that can’t be a good sign for Ben -
How? lol. They had to go 50 yards in 12 seconds with two timeouts. This has gotta be a straight up troll job at this point 😂. saying the lions win once in 10 tries even if you gift them the onside kick every time is probably generous
-
I doubt Josh was even worried…I think you have some issue with probabilities. It was essentially an onside kick recovery and a 13 seconds chiefs situation back to back lol field position was better than 13 seconds but needed 7 not 3 and one less timeout I also think your point no bills player is playing well but josh is pure nonsense but I can’t even get past how you’re trying to make it sound like this was a 50/50 loss in that situation or something like that 😂
-
They’re all in on the negative train since the Baltimore game, beating the best team in each conference since then has to have their blood boiling 😂
-
Every team is not missing 6 or 7 defensive starters lol Detroit was in a similar situation that I 100% agree with. We moved it well before they had a rash of injuries in the game though and they didn’t do much when we had our starters in in the first half. If injuries were turned off I think we blow them out
-
Lol it came down to an onside kick + likely haily mary. Tiny tiny odds of success. And if the game was closer throughout you completely change the bills decision making josh was great but I wouldn’t say perfect…missed a few easy throws and straight up forced that deep one to Coleman.
-
Negative posters are frustrated because their field day they had post rams game isn’t 100% accurate and we now have the two best quality wins in the league imo
-
What is your definition of in doubt lol we had probably a 99+% win percentage from the mid 4th quarter on Edit: espn tracks this and it was 98% or higher from 7 minutes left in the 4th to the end of the game. Even if they recovered the onside kick there was plenty of work left to do. Love the eye roll though 😂
-
The defensive scheme starting at halftime in the rams game through a lot of this game seemed markedly different to me.
-
That’s past trauma honestly…y’all were a bit silly if you were sweating there. Even if they recovered the onside kick they had a long way to go. idk of another team that can have 11 points stolen by overly officious nonsense and still force the lions into needing an onside and late td to win
-
Do people legitimately not watch other nfl games? Teams that don’t really trust their defense and want to win it with the offense will mix a high percentage throw in in that situation very very often. It 100% worked too as far as the throwing methodology there goes we punched in the td that was somehow called back on a rather suspicious hold
-
Yea I’m getting pretty peeved only Josh is getting credit tbh haha
-
Lol if someone told you last week we’d go into Detroit missing defensive starters and hold them to 14 points in the first half there is no chance you would’ve believed it
-
How do we even know? Lol. The play was blown dead on the incorrect team. Should’ve been an easy sneak after an obvious Offside. and that second point is pretty dubious too imo. Teams open the full playbook there very often and when it works they’re praised as geniuses.
-
Shut them down better than anyone has in the first half before the injury situation got out of control and that was the difference. Y’all are reaching tonight
-
Yea im all for giving Josh tons of credit but there’s a ton of guys on offense stepping up and then people say ‘we needed to score points so only Josh gets credit’ …doesn’t make sense.
-
This was CLEARLY injury driven. Defense played pretty well considering who they were up against the whole first half+
-
Two of them were utter horsesh*t lol. Refs cheated us out of 11 points and the lions still needed an onside kick and Hail Mary
-
Before we had an insane amount of injuries the d played pretty well against a great offense. That didn’t feel like the rams game trends continuing to me like many will try to claim
