I think they’re scared to do anything to hurt the chiefs down the stretch in a game tbh. I don’t think it’s outright rigged by any means though. the judgement calls down the stretch break their way at like a 10 to 1 ratio the last couple years lol it’s truly insane. Rigged or not rigged doesn’t even matter really, it’s a huge problem no matter what the reasoning is

I wanna visit the alternate universe where we didn’t sneak on 4th and a few inches and we got stopped lol. That’d probably be the most criticized playcall in nfl history the whole debate is a bit weird…in hindsight knowing they’re gonna screw you out of a whole half yard on a sneak then you’ve got a 4th and 1 and definitely don’t sneak. There’s no way we didn’t pick up that 4th and inches though it’s pretty much physically impossible…they would’ve had to reverse Josh’s momentum pretty much instantly which definitely didn’t happen

The type of wide receiver Josh needs

I think Chris jones’ head blocked the linesman that could see the ball’s view for a split second and he told the near side linesman that and the other guy just took over for some reason with 0 idea where the ball ever was 🤣. Really really strange. im pretty sure if Chris jones’ head wasn’t blocking that far sideline angle for a small amount of time that spot gets overturned in review. The above view looked nearly 100% conclusive but since it wasn’t right over the line to gain there’s a tiny bit of doubt that maybe the angle was distorting things -
It’s so ironic to me because these very same critics who said the bills were cooked/even josh isn’t good enough to carry this team in the offseason are now arguing he’s not the mvp 🤣 the very same people that voted a ton of ravens to the all pro team and virtually no other bills are arguing josh isn’t the most valuable. It’s peak crazy town haha the decisions they themselves made pretty much confirmed Josh as mvp but they voted a different way and are complaining about everyone else. If anything Josh got robbed of all pro imo. Seems like these people were worried they’d be in more hot water if they didn’t recognize Lamar in some way and it ironically has made everything worse lol

He kinda did in the playoffs tbh. That benford injury absolutely torpedoed the gameplan though it seemed like. As much as a lot of the criticism is deserved I feel kind of bad for mcd honestly. we’ve been really snakebit with a great defensive player or two or three being out going against a very healthy chiefs team the last couple years. I wonder if the uptick in man defense will spill over to the next regular season

Back to back linesman mistakes* lol my favorite part is chiefs fans saying ‘but you can’t see the ball’ and posting the angle that shows Josh’s back.. well no sh*t that’s why we’re mad, that’s the view the linesman had that overruled the first down call 🤣 -
Just got a cbs sports notification titled ‘mvp controversy’ lol not sure what’s controversial about it, it’s not like Lamar had some huge blowout all pro win. Only took a couple voters flipping to Josh for mvp to change the result. Josh could just as easily complain he should’ve won all pro and didn’t as Lamar could complain he should’ve won mvp haha
-
I think offensive player of the year and all pro are more stats based than mvp and the voters seemed to echo that. there has to be some distinction or why have two different awards for all pro and mvp? They’re both AP awards
-
Yea I feel like people get so into the ‘HOW CAN IT BE RIGGED’ thing but it’s likely completely by accident that refs subconsciously lean their way on close calls. They do lean their way though so I’m not sure if the ‘why’ even matters

It annoys me to no end that our offense gets no credit for befuddling the kc defense pretty consistently lol we are a play away from kc being the one with the disappointing defense and us having the defense that gives up points but no one cares because we win 🤣 -
Need them to stay healthy too 😂. We seem to be missing our best defensive player pretty much every time we see the chiefs in the playoffs and the chiefs have been freakishly healthy the last few years. that benford injury was absolutely devastating. if he was announced out leading up to the game I don’t think anyone would’ve predicted a bills win even on these boards
-
Were they terrible? That’s the best offensive performance I’ve seen against the chiefs in a long time even with a ton of horrible spots. So frustrating that we’re 1-2 offensive plays in a few games away from the chiefs being known for a disastrous playoff defense and nobody even caring about ours being bad 🤣 regular season was technically better but they were missing Jaylon Watson so we had another corner to pick on that time. There was definitely room for improvement for sure though without a doubt

They might’ve been lookin at point totals thinkin they were vote totals.

Joshs rookie season is talked about so strangely to me…I think these analysts are overly reliant on the stats sheet. They make it sound like he had no idea what he was doing out there his rookie year despite dragging the worst roster we’ve had in years to bring a Charles clay drop away from a winning record in games he started. I don’t think shady’s claim was even a hot take really lol I’m gonna be honest and this is probably a somewhat hot take lol, I don’t think the voter that game Lamar a 4th place vote was even that ridiculous. burrow and saquon over Lamar isn’t the craziest thing I’ve heard and the reasoning is exactly what you said
-
I’m more mad about those 2-3 early regular season games they got gifted which just handed them the 1 seed. They had a ton of time off to work on sh*t and get healthy this year down the stretch people get hung up on some questionable calls in the playoffs but they were on a heater of bailout calls early in the season

This feels worse to me cuz after you get screwed you have to watch some combination of Andy Reid, pat mahomes, and the Kelce brothers in 3 consecutive commercials 🤣 -
The mvp vote? Haha
-
Depends on how hung up the voter is on mvp = a stats award imo. If it was truly most valuable I think Lamar kinda got sunk by an absolute monster season from Derrick Henry
-
Pretty much had to call that one though if I recall properly lol that was an awful hold. I don’t remember that being even close to marginal/tossup. I’m gonna go check it out again but I remember mcduffie being absolutely torched and falling down Kind of a weird win percentage drop moment, with the new OT rules they were still pretty likely to win even giving up that first. The game was pretty much over if they got that stop though and only needed a fg
-
Could be my bias talking but the Lamar voter side seems like it’s got worse names than the Josh voter side on average haha
-
Hahaha never minddddd
-
As much as I hate nick wright he had a pretty solid year of predictions 🤣

Wasn’t Chris simms saying Lamar had it locked up because he won first team all pro? Interesting
