  1. Morgan Moses coming back was a huge boost to their offensive line which helped. Jets quietly got two extremely important injured players back for this game that I didn’t see talked about much. also the refs pretty much gave the green light for egregious OL holding for half this game lol
  2. While that may be a valid concern it is a complete non issue in a contract year imo. I could see that creeping into the conversation if we resign him though the guy isn’t gonna cost himself money
  3. I think he’s slightly better than current Diggs personally…it feels like coopers game is a little more insulated from decline as he ages. That’s def up for debate though he’s certainly better than disgruntled/head is not in it 2024 bills Diggs would’ve been though and if we’re talking about the being a teammate perspective, I can’t even imagine how Diggs would’ve acted on this current browns team if he was stuck there lol
  4. Diggs playoff contributions are so wildly overrated. Hasn’t done much of anything since that 2020 season chiefs usually lock him up pretty easily and he blames everyone else for it lol
  5. The chiefs fans dont seem too happy about it right now haha
  6. I genuinely don’t know the ins and outs of comp picks lol but I think we may get a comp pick back if cooper leaves anyway
  7. I don’t really know how you use Amari cooper incorrectly as far as improving our previous situation goes lol. He could run a go route every single snap and it would help 😂
  8. I’ve gotta think the injuries to Edwards and bishop in camp slowed down their transition a bit. Hamlin is probably gonna get phased out down the stretch of this season
  9. I feel like the von miller situation has been haunting beane and am def into this trade for that reason. If we ended up with von midseason in 2021 yea we give up future assets but I think we would’ve brought home the Super Bowl that year honestly. We waited though figuring we’d pick him up in free agency and he played well for us then blew out his knee and was worthless the next season.. in 2021 though I really think he was the missing piece that puts us over the top if you think you’re close and it’s the type of player you’d want around anyway I definitely would pull the trigger midseason. You’ve gotta push some of your chips in at some point especially when the chiefs are down some players
  10. You’re def right it takes time and it seems like the trigger got pulled in a lighter part of the schedule with a couple big games looming not too far out with kc and sf back to back ish (the bye is in between) if we waited til the deadline I don’t think he’d be quite as useful in those huge games but as it stands I think he will be
  11. Especially considering Diggs was checked out and cooper has to be checked in if he wants to get paid next year
  12. It cost a little more in draft comp because he was basically free contract wise a big problem with ‘renting’ anyone else would be we had to shuffle some contracts around and kick the can down the road
  13. If he likes money he really doesn’t have that luxury lol
  14. He was worthless for the chiefs last year until he decided to make a couple massive catches against us in the playoffs 😂
  15. Brought in a guy wanting to prove his worth and let go of a guy that needed a change of scenery too I think that’s a big deal on top of just the raw compensation too
  16. Seemed like the davante business was just to drive the price up for the jets I could def see that, it’s pretty much a no brainer move. The only gamble was the browns being bad 🤣
  17. Did they? Genuinely didn’t know that 😂. They seemed like they really weren’t interested in moving him during the season but it could’ve been a smokescreen of course
  18. I was gonna say playing for Cleveland and straight up not demanding a trade is impressive in itself 🤣
  19. Wow really thought the browns would stand pat and go down with the ship with the Watson situation that’s a great move seems like the type of guy we would’ve scooped in FA anyway and now it gives us a shot this year too
  20. It’s kind of all relative.. a lot of the jets issues are in the trenches so I think they’re in the good not great tier with Adams.. and when you’re good not great, a lot of those seemingly easy games on your schedule turn into 55/45 odds of winning type games but our fans worrying about the jets seem to be treating them like 80/20 type games they easily could’ve lost to Tennessee if Levis’ brain didn’t short circuit and lost to Denver.. yea they’re playing good teams tough but bad teams are playing them tough too.. the Arizona’s of the league could easily beat them
  21. I really think they were expecting a win last night and the Adams deal was probably just about done before the game
  22. Could be a nice bounce back by the bills but the defense looked pretty hapless for the jets. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them get pushed around like that in the running game a bunch of self inflicted penalties on the bills offense was the jets entire second half defense they don’t seem to be getting a ‘let’s play hard for a new coach’ boost at all and this is reading between the lines a bit I think that locker room is a mess.
  23. I think we’re getting Hopkins either via trade (unlikely but possible) or in free agency next year (more likely) and if beane really thinks we’re a wr away right now (idk if he does) maybe the trade route is pushed a little harder Seemed like it fell apart last time in free agency mostly on our end not Hopkins’ and we probably regretted it the way things went down
