Yea I think there was a bit of ‘make other teams in the future have to prepare for this play’ type thinking involved there…not saying you’re wrong just that it probably should’ve worked. Van demark is usually a pretty solid depth olinemen it’s not like they were running that play with some chump which seems to be how some people talk about it 😂

Coleman is such an unappreciated type of player it makes me a little bit sad lol I think a wr that’s a tank and a beast in run blocking probably brings you more value as a team that’s seeing a lot of soft coverage on passing downs with some occasional cover 0 sprinkled in. I mean I get the constant fear of the chiefs based on past results and this could absolutely be proven wrong 😂 but I think the bills leaning into running the football was the right direction. Teams can play over the top from light boxes against the chiefs and still bottle up the run and get pressure easily which kinda fits well with what you’d want to do to take away worthy anyway. Obviously they deserve the benefit of the doubt based on past results but I really think the chiefs need some Coleman type guys tbh

If wouldn’t have even really looked like a trick play if Van Demark didn’t trip I don’t think haha we made that play look infinitely more difficult than it shoulda been 😂

Bills fans really take running the ball for granted it’s straight up bizarre. You need players like Coleman to run the ball effectively and it’s such a good complement to trying to lighten the box and sit in soft pass coverage against Josh. Chiefs fans are all over the internet saying Josh has it easy because the bills can run the football and the chiefs can’t lol Just for reference not trying to say this proves Coleman is better or vice versa but I feel like the more negative bills fans really don’t even realize this…here are the career receiving stats of those two guys: Worthy: 19 games played 721 yards 6 tds 10.8 avg Coleman: 17 games played 759 yds 5 tds 16.5 avg Coleman has honestly been the bigger home run hitter so far it’s kinda ironic haha. Both guys are pretty up and down but bills fans only pay attention to worthy when he’s good it seems. I think Coleman has been quite a bit better than he gets credit for and worthy has been overrated a bit due to chiefs/mahomes media bias but he’s def good. Both teams got the guy they wanted and the bills got a free third round pick for doing so

Unless I’m getting my threads confused the post I was replying to was massively dooming about the chiefs. It is a typical spread yes that is kinda my point lol. The betting world does not believe the chiefs are some unstoppable juggernaut based on one game against an absolutely terrible defense. Jags are fine they are on the very low end of good if anything. I wish I bet more I coulda retired after yesterday lol chiefs over ravens is free money I was saying it all week

People are still under the mindset we’re picking top 15 in the draft order every year despite being almost a decade removed from that at this point lol There are other teams that throw rookies to the wolves a lot sooner but that certainly doesn’t make them good haha chiefs we’re talkin up Ashton Gillotte all offseason who was a third round DE like Jackson and he has gotten snaps and looked pretty bad to me. I think they had some injury issues though or he might not have played

A late third round pick yes that’s pretty likely tbh you are far from immediate starter talent at that point. Idk why people get so hung up on rounds when you’re picking late in the draft order. Deone Walker and Jackson hawes look like gamechangers so far. Strong looks pretty good and may start over tre as the season goes on If Hairston looks at minimum pretty good that’s a successful draft even if sanders and Jackson don’t pan out imo which may not even be the case

I feel kinda bad for Brady tbh haha. I thought that 4th down call was pretty clever but they botched the execution and that’s all anyone is gonna remember 😂

I feel like physically he could be close but mental toughness-wise he isn’t. Seems like he gets really frustrated when a couple drives don’t go well and his play falls off a bunch. Josh and mahomes seem to get even better when things aren’t going well

He is crazy lucky they got that miracle win against the chiefs a few years ago…I think if he was winless against the chiefs we’d hear that stat constantly and they definitely should’ve lost that game. 1 win 5 losses just doesn’t seem as catchy for the analysts lol it was bizarre seeing everyone picking the ravens in this game…betting chiefs over ravens is probably the safest bet in sports haha

I thought Josh got impatient halfway through the game and killed two drives tbh not trying to blame him for anything at all as even the very best qbs aren’t perfect but that was another game where the easy stuff was working well and we abandoned it for a brief time for pretty much no reason felt like we were using the saints to practice some things thinking the game was in hand tbh lol

I think if trubisky started and cook got 30 carries we would’ve beat saints and jets at minimum…probably the dolphins too lol not to take anything away from Josh at all not trying to imply he was a problem in any way yesterday…but cook was absolutely running wild. It was straight up surreal seeing the gameday thread complain about 6 yard first down cook runs haha the few bad offensive drives yesterday both felt like we got away from cook too much and tried to force the ball downfield tbh

I immediately went to look at the chiefs jags spread after reading this lol. This supposedly unstoppable juggernaut of a team is a 2.5 point favorite over the jags

I don’t think any bills fans have watched rattler play this year which isn’t helping the optics of this one too much…he’s looked good a few weeks in a row now and is getting talked about like he’s some fan that won a contest to start at qb 😂 I think the defense will be better than average if they can get back to reasonably full strength…better than average enough who knows though haha kind of nice Ed has been getting a break for these easier games…I think if we were in playoff football mode now Rapp might be getting benched but they’re probably trying to see if they can turn him around deone walker playing well is a really good sign

Another way to say this is ‘in one specific week of the regular season looking at the half of the league that won, not even all of those remaining teams would’ve scored 30 if you gifted them up to 23% of the 30 total points 😂 last week, 5 of the winners still wouldn’t have scored 30 if you gave them 7 bonus points and one of them would’ve hit 30 on the nose

I didn’t see too many people thinking we’d completely avoid kc in the playoffs if they lost today…I think that’s kinda the hangup. If we had an option of kc missing the playoffs entirely obviously almost everyone would take that. Tough to keep them out with three wildcards now though It’s lookin like Baltimore could possibly miss though if some of these injuries are long term and pit is decent. They’re a tough matchup for us so that could be a good thing

Why anyone would ever pick baltimore over kc is beyond me… I feel like ive been sayin it all week 😂. On paper sure but kc beats them virtually every very time out on the field

Tough to say how much…bills would’ve scored 50+ against this ravens defense I think. Ravens front 7 tackled insanely well against us especially on short yardage runs. They’ve got nobody up there anymore

I still think the bills wrote the book on Lamar in that afc divisional game years ago lol. Doesn’t mean you can pull it off though personnel-wise and it’s got tougher since they added Henry but watchin people talk up the lions for schematic things we’ve been doing against the ravens for awhile was kinda interesting 😂
