  1. The 1 seed is a huge difference if Baltimore ends up taking the division…of course if that happens it probably means pit lost to kc so we don’t have a shot at it lol Really gotta root for pit down the stretch I think. as it stands now though I feel like you could make the case the 2 seed is better.
  2. The team will absolutely treat it like what you’re describing….if we at any point have nothing to play for they’ll sit josh I’m certain. Or he’ll play a half if they’re worried about keeping him fresh. I’m not sure how fans wanting him to win mvp can be a distraction 😂
  3. Defending that call seems like an utter refusal to admit other highly touted coaches make horrible mistakes. that decision was absolutely horrendous and this board would’ve crashed from all the hate posts if mcd did it 😂 if they could’ve kicked a surprise onside kick like the old days I wouldn’t have disliked it that would’ve changed the success probability a lot
  4. I was fiddling around with some stats and since that lions hot streak started week 9 of 2022, 22% of the lions regular season losses were to the bills and 25% of the chiefs regular season losses were to the bills provided my math is right lol. That seems pretty crazy. You actually miss out on a bills win over the chiefs earlier in 2022 also with that cutoff
  5. Looks like rumblings from sportsbooks are josh is somewhere in the -750 to -1000 range in mvp betting. Looks like it’s finally happening!
  6. That’s pretty much what happened with the afc east last year lol would not be unprecedented
  7. He was literally beaten a week ago by a team that hit nearly every throw and made every catch in a dome and it was so ridiculous that cowherd posted a rant about how the bills defense is failing josh Allen lol then it seems like he completely forgot about the thing that moved him so much that it caused that rant a week later 😂. Your opponent is also playing in perfect weather too when you have a dome I have no idea why we’d want it especially when our division rival never wins in cold weather
  8. I can’t even count how many times I saw ‘why isn’t this player playing’ posted in the GDT about one of our like 8 injured defensive players hahaha
  9. Bills had a bodybag game against the Steelers and lost pretty much the whole linebacker room and this year I think the chiefs are the ones battling uphill with injury issues at home. Should be interesting Chiefs just feel like a better match up for the bills than the ravens would be. The whole angle of having a stable of pretty good not great defensive ends you can rotate in really only works against a team with pretty bad tackles lol I think the chiefs are probably a corner short with the Watson injury to slow down the bills on offense too. Chiefs are still great and I’m talkin like 60/40 type game for the bills maximum.
  10. I feel like the pats are probably actively trying to lose but the jets have absolutely nothing to lose which is annoying lol
  11. A run first game where your qbs throws are negatively affected by weather much less than his opponents and can run the ball himself like a panzer tank lol I think the last 3 weeks are good evidence that no dome was the right move win percentage wise imo I think the dome case was stronger a few years ago but now the run blocking has improved a bunch
  12. Josh will still make plays in bad weather and a lot of guys won’t. Seems like the run blocking has greatly improved since the last time this was debated too
  13. I mean most of our defense got hurt today and people are complaining about the defense still lol this whole injuries are an excuse for our opponents but not us doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Either it’s an excuse for everyone or no one
  14. I mean the SF game was a comedy show for the niners offense and we shredded them. Put Stafford in that snow game the week before and we would’ve won im certain. They were a mess in that rainy game a week later
  15. Not trying to say anyone is right or wrong to feel the way they do but I can’t say I’ve ever seen so much hate for a coach that just finished up beating the 1 seed in each conference 😂 this has gotta be uncharted waters. How many teams even play the top seed in each conference in a given year haha
  16. That very well could’ve been for making/missing the playoffs for us but we got so much help the last few weeks
  17. They have opened the door for the division too…that was a huge game for them
  18. The marquee matchups they definitely let both teams play which makes those two ridiculous calls that led to us losing 11 points even more ridiculous. The false start obviously was a penalty on someone they just got it wrong but that hold negating the shotput td was such a bad call
  19. I feel like Ty Johnson getting wide open pretty consistently is kind of proof there are talented players for teams to worry about and he kind of gets lost in the shuffle. Defense is interesting there’s a good amount of talent but there’s also a few big holes.. I feel like this thread took a weird detour with a few people suggesting the team is a bunch of bums and Josh Allen but most people posting are on the same page with minor semantic differences 😂
  20. This is really the first game I saw Josh kinda miss some throws and the receiver made it happen still that’s why I’m a little confused with this thread haha I’m more confident there are guys that will step up to help Josh out than I was when the game started the OL is objectively playing well too idk who can even argue that one
  21. I mean those were today specific examples the Knox and Johnson ones where they made some incredible catches and people literally laughed at the suggestion they made game changing plays/were deserving of game balls lol. If you were talking to Josh and did not mention how great some of those plays were by non Josh Allen players I don’t think he’d be particularly happy my season long examples would not include Knox obviously but there’s a good amount of talented players on both sides and there’s a few exploitable bad players on defense
  22. What is a bad take? My point was guys made great plays and have been making great plays consistently and it feels weird to not acknowledge it. ‘It’s all Josh’ in the thread title feels like he’s elevating a bunch of scrubs and a few of the comments pushed that narrative other guys on the team could be playing well AND you need a good game from Josh to win still lol those can both be true simultaneously. what irked me was people implying it’s basically all JAGs and Josh
  23. I feel like the thread title was kind of bait haha then someone said none of the other bills are good players. But yea if he had an off night the team is probably in trouble
  24. That early ty catch wasn’t a great play on a not super well thrown ball? Or the Knox catch? Idk man guys made some ridiculous plays tonight. Cook fights through a tackle by the hair to rip off a huge td run. The oline has been great. I feel like Josh would be as mad as anyone in this thread or more reading y’all suggesting nobody is helping him do anything lol
  25. I don’t get this in the context of this thread though…for example, Josh did make a mistake overthrowing wide open Knox and he made a ridiculous play. The big Ty Johnson play early was an overthrow too. Guys making great plays gave him a built in margin for error so how do we turn around and say ‘it’s all Josh’ when the final whistle blows. Frankly I’d be pissed reading that as one of these other players. nobody wants to take anything away from Josh he’s amazing but other guys are stepping up too. An amazing qb surrounded by scrubs on the oline and at the skill positions is not carrying you single handedly to 30,40+ points every week.
