  1. Yea this is a weird game to choose a winner but that’s where I’m at…I think the afc west teams will take eachother out of the 1 seed race
  2. Is there a worse team in the league through three quarters than the broncos?
  3. Oh yea they’re not good even at full strength lol I just don’t think theyre like 2-7 start bad
  4. Here’s to hoping it’s the last time Travis sees old Highmark (meant in a good way for our team) 😂
  5. It’d be interesting to look at the whole league’s injury situation…really feels like it’s happening to everybody this year. Miami lost two corners right in a row in camp and the guy they brought in to replace them is now injured too. Wild
  6. Man …looking back, Miami’s first 3 games were kinda a meat grinder who knew at the time 😂 got written off after losing to Indy,NE, and Buffalo but honestly probably could’ve turned it around a small amount if tyreek survived that jets game. Maybe they’re 4-5 ish if he stayed healthy. really only lost that NE game by achane’s toe also not trying to talk up the tyreek-less dolphins haha but it’s interesting to think about how much of an embarrassment those first two losses seemed at the time and how solid those two teams ended up being. Colts pats bills are a combined 20-6 now
  7. Dolphins have some important guys banged up too…chop Robinson missed practice again which is probably a bigger deal now that jaelan phillips is gone. No Rasul Douglas (who’s been pretty darn good tbh) means Ethan Bonner will probably get his first start bradley Chubb and Zach Sieler are dealing with minor stuff but will play I’d guess
  8. Depth has been an issue imo…becomes more glaring as the season goes on cuz you’re gonna lose some guys for the season Stuff like benford going down and getting replaced by Elam just can’t happen. Can’t have depth everywhere but cb is not the one I woulda messed with 😂 Depth this year feels better but hopefully Ed at least can come back for the playoffs when you’re in a cap pickle really gotta hit on a lot of picks to have decent depth. It’s feelin like we had a solid draft and players from previous classes have turned the corner a bit too
  9. There’s absolutely no shot this is the case lol it’s straight up cope based on them not wanting to believe that Buffalo is right there with them and that these playoff games could easily be going either way They needed this one badly for playoff positioning, the game last year was their last hurdle for a perfect regular season, and the season before that they had a really good shot to eliminate a team that plays them pretty tough from playoff contention. Absolutely no shot they held back in any of those games. if you swapped Elam in for benford like what happened in the playoffs the chiefs probably win this regular season game. The playoff games really aren’t all that different stylistically. The year they whooped us in the playoffs they whooped us in the regular season, the years the regular season games are extremely close and hinge on the outcome of 1-2 plays, the playoffs go the same way
  10. He’s definitely a bit raw still…seems a little odd for a midseason rental. Seahawks were in better shape to do that with him having history with their OC i think if he had a full year learning the system he could be a difference maker but that wasn’t really the situation if he wasn’t a bad run blocker I think the bills might’ve rolled the dice on him hoping he picked some things up fast enough could end up being a good player for sure I just don’t think he’s at the wr iq level to pick up a new offense in a half season yet
  11. I don’t think they have a linebacker thats even halfway decent in coverage on that roster. Not even sure who you’re talking up specifically haha it would be a real struggle to even say one of them is above average overall this season. Ironically the bengals castoff they’re starting has probably been performing the best and he’s just ok. I figured Pratt would be terrible but to his credit he hasn’t been If that dline (which is great for sure) isn’t bringing the heat, the middle of the field is gonna get shredded
  12. I get nervous when teams have strong linebackers that can take all the josh scrambles/over the middle stuff away. Colts definitely don’t have that. They might be the league’s worst tbh. Probably would’ve added a LB as the colts gm if I wanted to make a serious push. It’ll be interesting to see what the chiefs do to them in the regular season…if mahomes doesn’t go off it might look more daunting but I think he probably will
  13. Definitely not ideal but if the bills get knocked to a wildcard team cuz the pats ran through an even easier schedule I think the bills would be a road favorite in the first round or possibly two of the playoffs If the bills finish an underwhelming 10-7 or something like that it wouldn’t be the case though
  14. Crazy curveball I’ve been thinking about all day…as nonsensical as the timing of the trade was the cowboys definitely got better and play the chiefs and the chargers still 😂. Kinda funny the way that worked out. Chiefs should still win it but it went from no chance they lose to any given Sunday I’d say
  15. 2021 I believe…they lost to cincy in the divisional after the bye…2020 they did win the division and lose in the WC in Lamar’s first playoff win so pretty similar
  16. If the pats weren’t breathing down our necks we’d probably have that option but I don’t think you can risk it here. Division record is gonna be huge. Pats and bills should both end up 4-0 against everyone else and if the bills win the rematch with them it gets pushed to conference record where the bills have a pretty big edge at the moment. Dropping a surprising one against Miami probably blows the tiebreaker for good if it was the jets who just traded away a lot of their team maybe we could get away with it but Miami still has a little bit of juice
  17. Def a typo 😂. That’s amazing I don’t think I woulda noticed that.. Mathis is huge
  18. More so than ever I think one single loss this week rewrites the script of every good team a ton haha everyone will give up on the colts if they lose this next one, bills will go back to a big time question mark, ravens will probably be seen as pretty good but in too big a hole,Steelers will probably get given up on also but it would probably keep things open for the ravens
  19. Yea this is unfortunate that we’re getting pushed by the pats for the division or you could probably rest some guys in this one that are a bit banged up…division record is gonna be too important though I think we’d probably win anyway without all those guys playing but idk how much you’d want to risk it
  20. I really don’t think their roster is bad when they have tyreek healthy tbh…I’m havin trouble seeing us getting upset in this one without him though
  21. The ravens are a lucky CEH fumble when the chiefs were running out the game away from being 0-7 against them. It’s pretty wild. 1-6 still seems very statistically significant 😂 but for some reason you don’t hear about that stat much
  22. The schedule shook out weird…the first half was a ton of easy games but the two hard games were probably the hardest games on the schedule. Philly is up there too but at least if we lose that one it’s out of conference.
  23. Yea I think the philosophy with the running game is at minimum you stay on schedule but are a threat to break a big one at any time. Gore doesn’t really have the burst for that second part which kinda makes the whole thing fall apart
