Hes got plenty of excuses for last year outside of brady...I'd give him this full season and see how he does. A lot of their big name defensive players missed a whole year last year so it might take them more time to gel than others they are only a game behind us after all so we can't call them terrible yet for their record this year 🤣

Yea I think he wanted breida split out as a receiver and we kind of outsmarted ourselves without a real backup plan. Singletary wasn't too effective running the ball either today

The gap is huge haha the gap between a mediocre team and a great team maybe isn't that big Daboll def cooks up a nice game plan to maximize mismatches hes just so stubborn about it when his players aren't executing 🤣 wft is pretty weak at LB so a healthy dose of knox/moss was the ticket this game

Yea I think its a pretty good indicator in a bigger sample size...every now and then you get an outlier like last year's chargers team though that loses every close game and messes the metric up lol

Not sure he's a good coach yet...seemed like they were getting lucky every week last year. And his first season does it really matter that he was competitive ish with zero talent? That doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna have a great season with lots of talent

Fraud is comical but I think you could make the case hes overrated. They spent tons of picks on the defensive side of the ball because Brady was carrying the offense and their defense really hasn't even been excellent. Belichick kind of GMed that team straight into the ground although there's a ton of football left. Weird seeing him pick mac I don't think thats the guy he wanted

It was the defensive matchup the first two weeks. Josh just never got comfortable...redskins have the front 4 but that's it...they are miles behind the steelers and dolphins on the back end

He didn't have much time against Miami either...he bought a lot of time with his legs rolling all over the pocket to the point where he was unsettled in the pocket even in the rare situations where he got time. Difference between week 1 and week 2 was josh made all the plays in the red zone and we won by 100 🤣 Lol yea I think we get in the habit of comparing our team to an ideal perfect team...every team is going to have holes even the great ones and especially in a cap reduced year

No disrespect to Mr Cosell but we did see all those things at numerous times throughout last season in a lot of the same situations we've been in these first two weeks. If he's getting consistently pressured with 4 he gets those happy feet and never really sets when he throws. So yea I think you're on to something with sample size

I would say that proves the exact opposite of what youre saying....hes not far ahead of everyone else in average time to throw and hes probably the least blitzed qb in the league. Theres two deep safeties and 7 guys in coverage all game long. Not to mention hes mobile so hes taking time to avoid rushers and trying to find a receiver...just because the TT shows whatever doesnt mean he had a clean pocket that long
