Oliver has been great imo. Ford is a fair point that’s about the only one as fans we really are sure about not being good. We also have to keep in mind we’re picking much later in rounds than we used to cuz we don’t suck anymore lol it’s a lot harder to find sure things if your first pick is in the bottom half of the round.

I think so…could be wishful thinking. The chiefs whole offense revolves around an absolute burner at wr who is going to lose a step or two at some point…Kelce‘s not getting any younger either. I think josh has shown that ability to elevate pretty average players and make them look like all pros more so than mahomes has. Doesn’t mean mahomes can’t do it he just really hasn’t had to.

Kc is in a bit of a trickier cap situation than NE ever was going forward. Brady really elevated pretty normal guys on bargain contracts and they spent their picks on defense so the front office philosophy is very different . KC has two absolute freaks in Kelce and hill that will be difficult to replace and eat up a lot of their cap. I don’t think they’re really set up for long term success like NE was…best case they win 3 shootouts and win a superbowl. Maybe mahomes can do it with less weapons but we really don’t know yet

Idk what squib kicks people here have seen lol they sometimes get back to the goal line area but a lot of times they get fielded by upbacks especially when they know it’s coming

I don’t think we’re factoring in how good the chiefs offensive line has been all season…when they struggled this year it was all on mahomes not protecting the football. We had a few defensive linemen playing great down the stretch.

Loll clue me in? Doubling the household name player all game and letting a great player torch your single coverage all night long is far from an impressive gameplan is all I’m saying. It’s pretty subjective who we decide to deem ‘a star’…Davis has been the hero many times in his short career so far. Chiefs defense got absolutely pantsed and we bailed them out with that bungled 13 seconds.

Chiefs get hit pretty hard with the cap next year. Also their entire offensive is built around two freak athletes one of which is nearing the later stages of his career. Aaron rodgers doesn’t have many years left regardless of where he goes. I think the bills are a legit Superbowl contender as long as Allen is around. Pats dolphins and jets are all committed to starting middling talent qbs because they drafted them early so we’ll always have good results in the division

No more hero ball lol people still ignore it when hero ball works and only use it in a negative way…that should have been game winning drive had a ton of hero ball involved…he could’ve taken a bad sack on any of those plays.

Idk how many impact players you’re expecting to get from each draft but that’s as many as any team in the league. They lost a bunch of guys in that game too though so it’s hard to use that as an excuse…they had to replace tyrann mathieu with Sorensen

Chiefs win that game if we didn’t injure their offensive lineman towards the end of the game the week before…they had to reshuffle their whole oline for that one game.

Davis is an unknown? 😂 the guy has been making big plays all year. And even if he is an unknown (which is absolutely false) they forced us to go to an unknown because they took our star receiver away and he made them look absolutely silly. Again no excuse for how we lost but if we win that coin toss we absolutely shred the chiefs defense and win the game. Chiefs offensive line has improved tremendously this season. They essentially had our situation against the jags where we were missing a few starters on the offensive line and had to shuffle everyone around against the best team in the league in the SuperBowl last year.

Made mahomes look really bad in the regular season game and held Brady to a 3 point second half back when his offense was actually healthy. They have lost a bunch of receivers and offensive linemen since then. No excuse for the way we lost but if you can’t see the improvement we made over when we were nuked in the championship game last year idk what to tell you. I also don’t understand how we lost on ‘wimpy coaching’ lol we weren’t wimpy enough if anything. Should’ve been rushing 2 on that final drive not 4.

They ‘schemed’ to take away diggs and were promptly absolutely incinerated by gabe Davis lol im not sure the chiefs should be getting any atta boys for their defensive gameplan either.

We got hit with a couple early ticky tacky holds I wonder if that changed anything. The chiefs were allowed to hold diggs as much as they wanted though of course lol

Do you guys remember our dline against the chiefs last year when the chiefs oline was considerably worse? Still didn’t win the game but it was a huge improvement

We punted twice in 8 quarters of playoff football with zero turnovers…something went very wrong on the defensive side of the field if you’re not playing in a conference championship after that lol probably the best playoffs a qb/offense ever had

He was not the best player in the league last year…sounds like progress to me 😂

They also have some cap issues coming up soon. Would’ve been a real dagger for them if we pulled out this one.
