Post-Beatdown Belichick Locker Room Visit?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
They probably cut the on field chat after the game short cuz it was so cold and he was talking to players/coaches -

They’re totally cool with drafting the guy that literally beat his pregnant girlfriend though. The whole chiefs ‘dynasty’ is built on the cornerstone of the chiefs being scummy enough to draft tyreek hill. -
Julian Edelman lost $50,000 on the Patriots

Pretty sure it was all an ad…some company gave him the money to place that specific bet it wasn’t his own money -
Yep can’t argue there lol I guess a better way to rephrase my post would be ‘I thought he’d be worse’

Hahaha that was one of the best performances by a qb in a playoff game of all time. He was literally the only reason we won. -

Yea I think they mostly beat up on an easy schedule and none of them wanted to believe it. Same could be said for us for awhile but we at least showed up in a lot of the big games. Schedule is gonna be tougher for both teams next year -
FTW - Bills/Chiefs is the real Super Bowl

I have posted about this absolutely everywhere the last few days lol we are lucky to be playing kc aka the team we built our roster to beat. Not saying it’s an easy win by any means but ten would’ve been a tougher out imo titans just don’t excite viewers like the chiefs or bills do so it seems like they get written off. Everyone pins it on tannehill but on that roster tannehill really only has to play ok I think KC is the best matchup for us out of all the playoff teams remaining -

Where did they rank belichick. Man I’ve never seen a guys stock fall so much in reality after a lucky win lol these people don’t live in reality though -

Do they mean in general or just gameday decision making? I don’t know if I can sit through even a few minutes of that 😂 honestly if McDermott knocks the chiefs off this year he’s easily objectively in the highest tier of nfl coaches. it will be a massive testament to our front office as well because a lot of people raised their eyebrows at spending two early picks on the defensive line -
Wouldn’t it be awesome if Belichick retired?

Pretty bad gm though and he’ll retire before Kraft brings in additional football guys. Spent all his capital building titans-lite. An outdated scheme that requires an absolute generational talent at rb. -

There’s really not a whole lot of value in those trends you have mentioned. The only somewhat relevant road game the bills have had to this one in recent years is the chiefs afc championship game last year and a lot has changed with the team even since then. Feliciano vs chris jones was a gigantic liability last year and they didn’t have much trouble manning up our horribly injured receivers. This year neither of those issues will be present but there will be some new challenges without tre so it’s a completely different set of circumstances. Also how many times has Andy Reid had a playoff rematch with a team that absolutely stomped him in the regular season…probably not many. Refs had to bend over backwards to keep that game from being an absolute laugher -

This take continues to be mind blowing to me…it’s just straight up denial/wishful thinking at this point. Allen outplayed mahomes this season with a vastly inferior offensive line and terrible weather for most of the year you can maybe make a case that 3 qbs were better this season and they were all in the NFC -

I’m gonna have to rewatch that afc championship game unfortunately but from memory it seemed like it was mostly coverage sacks because our busted up wrs couldn’t get much separation. I think they’re gonna rely on playing a lot of man and hoping to win their matchups long enough for the pass rush to get home without much blitzing but i don’t think that’ll be as effective this time seeing as we’ve seen that three times from the pats now who probably have more defensive talent. chiefs have that bully style defense where their secondary can dominate against bad/mediocre teams but when they play a high powered offense they struggle more than a team that plays a lot of zone would -

Yep very true…covering those quick screens to tyreek and chasing mahomes around all game are very important. Such a strange game to me X’s and O’s wise I feel like we should win but the chiefs in arrowhead in the playoffs just seems like a sure thing. On the flip side we’ve been preparing for this game since the offseason…something’s gotta give -
I think laying an egg is considerably less likely this year…we could def lose a shootout though. Despite losing tre we’re a lot healthier this year than the afc championship game. That was a lot of the issue there just was no separation all game by our receivers. Steelers could’ve done an ok job against that chiefs defense last week but diontae Johnson decided to forget how to catch the ball which led to their defense gassing out early then the floodgates opened. Defensively what the chiefs like to do really shouldn’t work on us…much like the pats. You just can’t man us up unless all our receivers are playing hurt.
-
Maybe a hot take but I thought mac played pretty well. Pats dropped a couple wide open catches and he threw a nice ball that Hyde made a ridiculous play on. Made a few nice plays with his legs too and threw a couple clutch dimes on 3rd and 4th down
-
I wasn’t doubting they improved but so did we…they also had a few games where they struggled defensively down the stretch too so it wouldn’t be unprecedented for us to light them up

Refs and bad calls have ramifications

Yea the terrible no call against the bucs cost us the 2 seed lol how’s that for ramifications we’d be playing the chiefs at home this week -
How long will the Bills window be open?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea I honestly can’t think of a team set up better for long term success that could also win it this year. Where will the chiefs be when Kelce retires he seems pretty irreplaceable -
Who would you rather face next week?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall
The actions of one football fan starting a post is what determines who wins a football game lolll that’s like the butterfly effect level sh*t right there 😂 -
He already did shine against mahomes this season lol we are also a much better and healthier team this year than we were last year in the afc championship. If we lose I think we lose in a shootout with josh putting up numbers like the Tennessee game allen outplayed mahomes with a drastically inferior offensive line for the first 75% of the season and those guys are playing well now at just the right time.
-
I mean it’s hard to hold it against Allen that he is so good that we blow everyone out…and in most of those close losses he was sensational and the only reason the game was close. That second half against the bucs he was otherworldly it’s a crime against humanity diggs didn’t get that call in the end zone for the game winner.

Seemed like we learned from that playoff game if you look at the regular season matchup this year. They tried to hold our guys but couldn’t because our wrs were healthy so we held the sh*t out of Kelce lol
