  1. More depth at cb…Frazier takes a lot of flak here but we had a decent cb2 playing cb1 after white went down and a 7th round pick playing cb2.
  2. We had 0 cornerbacks after white went down and that really limited the defensive playbook in my opinion. Pretty much had to keep two safeties deep all the time.
  3. I mean everyone hates bill belichick right as far as an employer goes…but he wins. It’s not a popularity contest lol
  4. It would be in a lot of cases for these Rooney rule guys that would never get the job in the first place. You’re just wasting their time.
  5. Bills texts don’t have dates in the screenshot I saw lol so I wasn’t sure
  6. Ah so they interviewed Frazier once? That makes it look a little better
  7. I doubt it he’ll just say he meant that the giants liked Daboll for the job and that it wasn’t confirmed yaddayadda
  8. After the belichick text though I think? I’m not 100% sure…these supposed texts were from weeks ago
  9. Could be an overreaction to some argument they had…lord knows I’ve done that at my job haha
  10. It’s one of those having to address the elephant in the room things that teams are likely just interviewing guys they have no interest in hiring to fulfill the Rooney rule. Unless the giants had a previous interview that fulfilled the Rooney rule? Not sure
  11. Yea could be belichick wording a text poorly more than some kind of foul play…not sure anything could come of this. The tanking allegation could def cause some issues.
  12. I’m glad to hear that I’m back on board 😂 those one sentence quotes with no context are dangerous.
  13. He said something like ‘improving josh Allen took a village’ in a giants interview lol I was excited to pull for him next season but now I’m not so sure 😂
  14. Well bill Simmons is definitely a pats homer haha so pro New England is accurate in this case…I think it’s more embarrassing giving up a perfect offensive game against us than the 13 seconds thing
  15. Well yea but they’re not making decisions based on who gets the blame though lol I don’t hate kicking it deep…one incomplete pass/short gain and the game is pretty much over. also I have heard some people theorizing that bass was not supposed to kick it deep but that’s just rumors at this point
  16. Yea not sure what the risk factor is on kicking that OB though. An out of bounds kickoff would’ve been an even more embarrassing way to lose that game lol
  17. I was hoping subtracting tre but adding Milano would minimize the talent lost but we were really limited schematically by having to gameplan around starting two mediocre corners it seemed like So many situational mental mistakes too…like why are you diving out of bounds for an extra yard and preserving the bengals timeouts on that drive at the end of the 4th.
  18. We don’t know how comfortable bass is with squibs though and it was a much different situation with the amount of time remaining on the clock assuming we are talking about the chiefs last drive before halftime. Big special teams play is likely how you lose in the situation we were in and the odds of that are way higher when an up man can fall on the ball at the 40 kicking it deep was the right call imo and then we blew the game for other reasons lol
  19. I just can’t see the rams avoiding years of irrelevance after this potential Superbowl win so I guess it’s the philosophical question of do you mortgage your whole future to win 1 superbowl. Beane for better or worse is on the other side of that argument They’re mostly giving up future assets though…I feel like it just has to catch up with them. No first round picks for 7 years by the end of this and stafford will be in his mid to late 30s by then
  20. Well not the only one obviously lol but everyone is talking like the coaching staff told the players to defend the sideline which I very much doubt
  21. I don’t even think the yac is necessary…if our offensive line is just decent we are unstoppable. But unfortunately they were dreadful for most of the regular season
  22. Pretty sure Levi blew the game by defending the sideline for no reason and McDermott would never throw a player under the bus. I can’t imagine every coach forgot how many timeouts kc had…he probably was used to pinching the sideline in a late situation like that and completely brain farted.
  23. When does mahomes not do all those things? Lol seems like they’re trying to convince themselves it is a one time thing but I doubt it . He gets pressured and just has to run around until hill or Kelce are open. He doesn’t ever really have to go through progressions or fit throws in tight windows because their whole offense is based on their skill position players just outrunning everybody. Yea the qb spy had a heck of a game…mahomes kept running backwards to buy himself time to turn the corner and it wasnt at all working. He had plenty of time to throw but spent it running backwards for no reason. Seems like he’s got happy feet and bails from clean pockets almost every time…we’ve just gotta do a better job spying him
  24. Idk that perfect offensive game was absolutely outrageous lol I think that may live on as long as people remembering who won the 2022 Superbowl.
  25. Keep tre healthy and get a better CB2 also. Seems like playing man against the chiefs worked for the bengals but I don’t think we could’ve handled that with Levi/Dane starting. Tre was definitely the one guy we could not afford getting injured we just didn’t have the cb depth.
