Kelce still kind of torched them in my opinion but I agree with most of this...he looked very similar to how he looked against us...always completely wide open. Tampa did a lot of things similar to us they just had the pass rush working...maybe if we had 4 quarters against the chiefs banged up oline we wouldve fared a little better I think a great pass catching TE masks a lot of issues...I dont think the chiefs wouldve cracked 100 yards of offense outside of garbage time tonight without kelce. I think we just played right into the chiefs plan of hanging onto receivers a borderline illegal amount and the league took notice...a running game would be nice though lol id focus on the defensive side first the offense really carried the team all season...the defense stepped up in the big moments most games but it just wasn't enough

Josh allen had more mvp votes than anyone not named Aaron rodgers lol anybody blaming allen for our struggles would be like blaming mahomes for the chiefs loss tonight

I think mcdermott has always done a pretty good job against brady defensively...we struggled scoring points against them. Kc got a lot of coverage sacks against us because of their illegally tight coverage aka holding lol im not saying we wouldve won it just isn't really fair to assume that based mostly on our performance against kc. Soft zone won Tampa the game tonight they just got home with a four man rush on almost every play

The chiefs did that to our oline because they were holding our receivers on the back end

The refs missed many offensive holding calls on the chiefs as well

Lol we couldn't get pressure they just out physical-ed us the Tampa dline absolutely wreaked havoc. Any defensive coordinator wouldve looked good calling a game for the bucs tonight

That one call where he said 75 on the chiefs' hold was ticky tacky when he tackled the dude from his neck was absolutely comical

Yea mahomes has had no chance its impossible to evaluate his play

Lol they've gotta protect the chiefs dignity and the sanctity of their precious super bowl at this point 🤣 chiefs defense just wasn't allowed to hold and the bucs jumped on them early and made them one dimensional...you can't ask backup offensive linemen to pass block the bucs front 4 all night

We had no chance at getting home with 4 which was a completely different situation for us compared to what Tampa is doing to them

That game didn't worry me at all long term...our oline couldn't block anyone and the chiefs employed their patented play man coverage and hold everyone defense that they are not getting away with tonight lol josh missed some throws early but he settled down and played quite well given the circumstances

I'm gonna get in trouble for this probably but josh allen looks better to me when everything is breaking down...maybe its because he had his whole first year playing on a team with zero talent to practice 🤣

Oh no he had no confidence in anything 🤣...maybe he figured we could stop them on a couple drives if we kept everything in front of us but we couldn't even do that lol They just straight up whooped us across the board...idk why I thought they were just going through the motions assuming they were gonna skate into the super bowl and we were gonna catch them napping lol they were all over us

I think he just had absolutely no confidence we'd convert those 4th downs after we used that nice 4th down play earlier in the game...he had to know our defense wasn't stopping anyone lol

Yea its hard for me to blame him when hes watching his defense get absolutely humiliated knowing he'll have to drop 50+ to win but I think he'll learn. That's what the chiefs do they force you to abandon your game plan with just a barrage of points lol I think Josh got a little too comfortable this season of knowing presnap he's got single coverage and trusting his guys to get open because it has never not worked...until Sunday of course unfortunately haha

Were they? Lol I was there and did not see that outside of several times where he chose a downfield throw into single coverage. They really weren't giving us anything. It looked to me like every time we had a check down getting us modest yardage josh took it but I haven't rewatched the game

Yea that could be true...thats still on us for not taking advantage of that too. Seems like they don't throw flags in the playoffs except for on that horrible flop at the end of the packers game lol

Yea im honestly starting to hope they don't go back to back lol the mahomes ball washing is starting to surpass tom brady levels... every time josh makes some ridiculous play we get to hear 'oh just like Patrick mahomes' when mahomes has receivers running free all game long

I'm still in shock that he wouldn't want mahomes making that throw...maybe he really is a system quarterback after all and they don't want him making the the tough throws 🤣 allen put his team on his back all season making plays like that.
