  1. KCs line in the super bowl was much worse than what ours has been this season...mostly due to their lack of depth and injuries. Their game plan in that game seemed to completely ignore that fact too which still blows my mind to this day
  2. I mean he's coaching to win the game lol I don't understand this take. What Tennessee does is not exactly rocket science either it's a very physical brand of football where they punish you with the run to the point where linebackers just instinctively bite on play action thinking its a run and receivers are wide open. His guys were not executing and he did what he thought gave his team the best chance to win that's his job.
  3. Hasn't Tampa been pretty suspect against the pass and elite against the run this season? That's what it seems like from seeing a few of their games but I dont know the stats offhand
  4. You are literally proving his point that he should've gone for the win on offense though when you were originally using that as evidence of why he shouldn't lol thats why I'm confused...if you want to say the defense wasn't prepared thats fair but that's not what the original comment was about
  5. Yep I think he is lol the defense got absolutely whooped and would have proceeded to get whooped in OT...granted maybe we win the coin toss and march down and score a td
  6. I'm not saying it's not his 'fault' the defense didn't play well...each drive is not a new drive...his guys could not account for the PA at all and they will entirely put the loss on themselves No one is more thrilled the bills offense went for the win than the bills defense
  7. Exactly...im glad other people are saying this. Credit to McDermott for not blowing his stack in the press conference. I think it was probably the 'right' call but if it had followed the official on the fields call gets reviewed upstairs process I dont think it would've been clear enough to overturn the first down ruling. Something hokey happened where they changed the call on the field
  8. Was he wrong to have no confidence in the defense? Lol I think you can definitely make a case for either decision but going for it with your offense is not the 'weak' decision imo I think in his press conference he was absolutely f***** livid that joshs scramble the play before the 4th down got ruled a first down by the refs then 'changed' without an official review and didn't want to lose his mind
  9. I think both sides could make a good case...it really comes down to what wouldve happened with the coin flip in OT which is a risk I'm sure coaches try to avoid when they can. I think OT wouldve favored the titans as we weren't great in the red zone and they were
  10. Does anyone have any specific examples of these plays where wrs were open for tds and just got missed? I heard the commentators say it a couple times after the pocket broke down and they sounded silly to me 🤣 it takes some time to load up for a deep throw that he just didn't have on any of those plays.
  11. I might have a hot take here but I think our rbs do pretty well considering they get 0 running lanes. Our offensive line had a good year pass blocking last year but they were bad run blocking and in a cap reduced year we really didn't have the opportunity to do a complete offensive line rebuild. You could plop Derrick henry on our roster and he ain't going for 100+ in a game
  12. I saw a few times where pressure collapsed the pocket and he had to dump the ball off before loading up to take a deep shot...the only play you're describing that comes to mind is when he took the sack when he thought the titans only had one safety up top and he thought he had davis on a deep post but the other safety got back. That was not the right decision but all the best qbs have plays like that in any given game. I feel like we're comparing our guy to some hypothetically perfect qb that makes the right read and a perfect throw every single time
  13. This isn't getting talked about enough...it was a good look for a sneak Dawkins just got instantly embarrassed which is very hard to do 🤣
  14. Man you've seen the game film huh haha how'd you get it so fast. The broadcast angle is not a great indicator of what is going on
  15. I knew we'd lose if we went for it even though I think it was probably the right call so I wasn't really surprised lol I'm almost happy we tried the sneak because that was the highest percentage play...if we had thrown an incompletion I wouldve lost my mind
  16. I dont think it will as much as you think...maybe if we look average coming out of the bye. I dont want to say it's a flukey loss but we pick up that first 8 times out of 10 and win that game
  17. Hahaha he literally dropped the ball and wrestled 10 cowboys and still got one on Thanksgiving
  18. Yea they just showed a graphic in the post game that I'm still watching for some reason that Allen was 14 for 15 on 4th and 1 situations
  19. Lol I was gonna say that also
  20. I dont think announcers make a big enough deal on what allen is able to do on the run with these absolute strikes down the field just because a receiver is 'open'. These are still incredible throws that everyone is taking for granted because his last name isn't mahomes 🤣
  21. You also have to keep in mind that on a lot of these supposed plays you are referencing there are defenders jumping and putting their hands into passing lanes so those throws to wide open guys may not always be possible especially on underneath stuff. The angle we all watch the game from does not tell the whole story
  22. Yea this is most likely it...I have watched brady miss quite a few throws this year...just doesn't make sense blaming your qb when your defense gave up 6 straight scores
  23. It's such a hindsight is 20/20 business...if he throws an incompletion we'd all be screaming that they should've snuck it
  24. He threw 12 incompletions one of which was a tipped int and quite a few were thrown away under heavy pressure so I can't imagine how many plays you're talking about. Dude had a great game and his team let him down
  25. Either decision was right... titans could've won the toss and steamrolled us in overtime too..we didn't stop them at all in the second half really. Qb sneak on 4th and inches with Josh allen has gotta be like 75% chance of success but it didn't work out
